Hello everyone. Happy Passover. I have just found this channel and enjoyed watching / listening to these assemblies. As a newcomer to Judaism, I am trying to understand the meaning of what they are singing and why. Is there anyone who can offer an explanation? (I can only understand English, I live in the USA 🇺🇸)
Hi, In Chassidic Judaism song and dance is a big priority. Being happy and joyful in the service of G-D is of utmost important . Songs without words is even more powerful because it does not have words limiting it. So chassidim will embrace or compose songs that bring joy and help you get closer to G-D These are songs that were composed by Rabbis of the Chassidic group called Modzitz who originated from a town in Poland.
And it is this (the Torah) that has stood by our ancestors and for us. For not only one (enemy) has risen up against us to destroy us, but in every generation they rise up to destroy us. But the Holy One, Blessed be He, delivers us from their hands.[1][2]

In Holland apart from people in old age houses and their caring staff only people over 80 years are vaccinated. So you are not the right person to criticize others about vaccination. With all respect, I do not think your open question should have been placed here but at a more general forum where the attitude of the Hasidic public in Israel is discussed. Here it gave me the impression that you showed your anti-sympathy for this group and this is why I reacted with some strong words. It is possible you did not mean it that way. I can understand your reluctance to vaccinations. But I wish to travel freely and for this you need vaccination documents. I was spending Pesach in Greece and was forced to take twice a PCR test. In my country this is very expensive (over € 100.00 each time). Tomorrow I fly home and today I needed another one as without it I cannot board the plane.
