Yea if anything I would think it would give him more legitimacy knowing older groups than newer ones. It'd be easier to hear about groups like New Jeans randomly than Wonder Girls or Big Bang.
As a millennial, I find it hilarious that they were suspicious of Pablo because he only liked older groups, while all of these kids became Kpop fans yesterday lmao
Ong. Its literally ridiculous how much ageism is in the fandom these days. They call u a hag for being the same age as Jungkook and criticize u for not knowing the 300000 members of nct
its weird they voted skylar for not having twt but not for calling a light stick a glowstick 😭 but i would have voted her too bc she also called koreaboo as kdrama
As a millennial K-pop stan (started in 2006 with TVXQ), I feel sad for Pablo. These kids will eventually know that when time passes, nothing's wrong with not knowing new groups or not following all the comebacks.
@@val-ci5fo Wow, I'm an ELF too since 2011! Mr Simple started my kpop journey and DBSK is also my ult 'cos it's impossible not to love and cherish groups that SJ grew up with (which is why I'm a fan of SM groups in general, the family bond is there fr). SJ, DBSK, Exo, Shinee I live for with SJ always being no.1 since the first day. It's so cool seeing someone who became a fan like I did and still likes not just SJ but also DB5K.
LITERALLY like i've been a fan since 2012 but i kinda fit in since i also listen to newer groups, but it's just so funny how baby stans forget that kpop was a thing before 2015 😭
Idk if that was the only reason. Jubilee can be tricky with these videos. When I heard that he was an older stan, I thought he was the mole because he was a fan a few years ago and not since. I haven’t been a stan of kpop beyond SJ and SNSD since 2012ish and I wouldn’t count myself as a stan like these people anymore.
Moonbin's family asked not to speculate about his passing. The cause was never released to the public. Please don't use his name like that when you clearly knew nothing about him or cared, he was a real person not some evidence for the "dark side" of kpop
Omfg I'm so late but I agree, the way she brought it up as a gotcha moment almost made me upset, because like his cause of death was not revealed so now you're making things up to prove a point
She's not a kpop stan she wouldn't know. Everybody namedrops SuIIi, Kurt Cobain. It's more upsetting if the kpop stans had no backbone to tell production not to include that in this video.
I love that the mole addressed the toxic work conditions that idols have to be in because, I'm a fan of kpop, but it's so hard to fully enjoy when I know what kind of horrible industry it is.
facts, i always have a hard time deciding whether to support by buying merch or attending shows knowing that most of the revenue will go to the ent. company that is perpetuating a toxic work environment for idols but at the same time you want to support b/c at least the idols might see a fraction of that
Hawa didn't deserve to be voted out. She was arguably the most outgoing and confident in the group in terms of kpop knowledge. I have no idea how they believed she was the mole
mole is so nice.... she ain't even a hater! my fav kpop groups in order (Top 5) - BLACKPINK - Jennie - Stray Kidz - Jeongin (I.N) - TWICE - Jihyo and Sana - (G)I-DLE - Minnie - Le Sserafim - Chaewon

@@dbobbi744 they probably think the same. Astro isn't super popular and many ppl didn't really care to do more research after the first article was published
As a fan of Kpop this clip shows why I rarely have conversations about it with other people I know who love Kpop. Any discussion starts to get chaotic and over emotional when I just want to have simple talk.
2nd Gen and twice's Mina as your ult!?! as a hard-core 2nd gen and 3rd gen stan and someone who also ults twice I have to say you have elite taste my dude kids especially 4th gen stans won't get it❤😂 those were the golden days of kpop for me
I feel bad for Pablo being voted out because of the older group thing. Like older group stans are VALID, just because they don't like newer ones doesn't mean they aren't a kpop stan. That's like one of my biggest pet peeves being a Kpop fan is that you being told that what you like isn't valid. You should be able to like who you like regardless of what generation of K-pop that group or artist is in.
@chimmycakee5643 I became a K-Pop fan in 2018, and it does take a lot of time to keep up with everything, especially when new groups debut every day. I started my kpop blog to help myself learn and keep up with groups by making guides and other content. But I don't ever judge someone if they are either a newer or older kpop stan just because they only know the groups or artists that they know.
@Awakening_Sunshine I agree with that too, cause I know so many people that don't use Twitter to keep up with Kpop and that is truly okay. There's so many ways to find out information nowadays on Kpop, it's like Twitter isn't always necessary. I do use it but only to retweet photos mainly or my guides I make on my blog.
yeah, i think its just because when someone says theyre a kpop stan most ppl would think that they stan/know of at least a few newer groups, and in a game like this it was easy for them to single him out and vote for him. i only stan newer groups (3rd, 4th, 5th gen) but if someone only stans older gen groups to me thats completely valid and shouldnt make them any less of a kpop fan :)
MOONBIN LOVED BEING AN IDOL. HE LOVED WORKING IN FANTAGIO. he signed with them under the age of 10, and was the first one to renew his contract as an astro member. that was how loyal he was to the agency. he never had any scandal, was never unnecessarily hated by the public, was never bullied by fans/nonfans. he loved his job and always talked about it every chance he got. he even defended the agency from the fans' outrage. so no, he was never a product of kpop's toxicity. stop setting him as an example to the dark side of kpop when you don't even know him. Edit: moonbin is one of the oldest employees of fantagio being signed to it since under the age of 10. if he hated something, he would communicate it out loud and even on camera. he called out the agency for selling expensive merch. he got angry and fought the staff when in their early days, they were prohibited to eat before filming a music video (he and eunwoo wanted to eat chocolates so they talked to the staff and finally the whole group was allowed to eat and extreme dieting stopped). when he gave his lines to the rapline and cut down his parts in a song. when fantagio gave crazy, sexy, cool to him as a solo song, he talked to the president and convinced them to make it a group song (title track) instead. no matter how much he spoiled any song/group plans to the fans, he never got in trouble. that was how influential moonbin was in his agency.
THIS SHOULD BE PINNED and posted everywhere. Moonbin is one of the most honest and genuine idol out there. he was never afraid to speak his truth. his face can’t lie when he doesn’t like anything, even when it’s sponsored. there was no unnecessary hate. he was always praised by fans, nonfans, staffs and even idols by his performances and personality. he was so loved!
for real, like at first I was trying to understand her reason to hate kpop until she mentioned him, it's so unecesary to mention him using him as an example for the toxic industry, if she doesn't even know him or what happened, one of the things I loved about binnie was how he literally couldn't care less about the beauty standards or any expectations the public had over idols, he always said he ate very well not following those idol strict diets, and didn't care about saving face for his "idol image" like the time he just took out his hair extensions on camera, he was so hard working and involved in his art, music, choreography, loved his fans but still set limits , he was one of the most human, transparent, realest idols I've known throughout all my years as a kpop stan.
I mean I get what you're saying and not even trying to hate, but at the same time how do we actually know? As a fan, we only see his interactions on the surface and the outside. None of us know what's going on inside his mind or his personal life. It's easy to just put on a front in public. So just like we don't know his reason for death, we really don't know his thoughts on the industry as well unless we were literally in his life. I'm just saying...
The whole, “K-pop fans are hyper” stereotype needs to stop. I knew of kpop thanks to a girl in school, she was super shy and I got into kpop because of a friend that is quiet and serious! Let’s think logically, of course more extroverted people would agree to be in this, shy people wouldn’t want to be in a video that’s going to be on the internet forever lmao
I’m glad someone brought this up. This was the one thing Hawa said that I didn’t agree with. I myself am an introvert but if you put me in a room with other K-pop fans I’ll be the first one to speak. However, I also understand that is not the case for everyone and even if some people are excited and passionate about a topic they may still be naturally quiet.
I think kpop fan are more likely to be shy/quiet because before kpop was cool, we got mocked for liking kpop. I remember just reading a kpop lyric quietly at middle school and a guy just mock what I read. Reading it out loud like it's an alien language. And yes, some people are just not that hyper.
@@alessiagatti590 she targeted one of the other girls simply because she was quiet and an introvert and said how kpop stans are outgoing and extroverted. It’s rude to make assumptions like that and think that just because someone is introverted means they can’t be a fan of kpop.

It was not clear what Moonbin's cause of death was so plz refrain from suspicions, his own mom had to step in and stop rumors from spreading. He was admired and had a say in certain company rules because he was close with staff members. He was outspoken and very independent from what he's shown through his personality. He chose to renew his contract and wanted to continue working alongside his members.
i understand but she *was* the mole so she may not know about Goo Hara or Sulli which i feel like would be better examples of how the bullying and torment could end in tragedy
I was thinking the same thing. I’m a huge K-pop fan, but I also don’t have twitter. It was weird to vote her out based off of not having a form of social media.
Stop mentioning Moonbin! Y'all don't even know what happened. Stop using him as an example in the 'toxic side' of K-POP. His mom already asked everyone to stop assuming things.
I'm a 2013 kpop stan (BTS, EXO, Sistar, T-ara, 4Minutes, BAP, etc.) and I never use Twitter unless it's to download concept photos! I love their energy as newer fans but as a long-time fan, it's hard to keep up with the constant stream of releases and new groups, let alone listening to B-side tracks. The industry has changed so much, its crazy!
same, i cant keep up. maybe its also the tiktokification of music, and even western pop having a huge influence on k-pop cause its widespread... but i cant seem to like the newer and newer title tracks. i was trying to get away from western pop in the late 2010s, not get back into it!!! im also a third gen stan. it seems sort of like a trend for us. we were in it for a while but something changed
please do your research before you bring up moonbin like that. we were asked not to speculate what happened with him, and using him as a “gotcha moment” is incredibly insensitive. please respect him.
I get what the "kpop hater" means in pointing out kpop's toxicities but I hate it when she uses Moonbin to prove her point. I don't want people to only remember him as another tragedy in kpop. I hate it when people only bring back names like Sulli or Jonghyun just to illustrate the dark side of Kpop
I don’t think she was trying to “prove” her point. I think her point would stand regardless of any actual deaths in the industry. Also I don’t believe she was making a point per se, she was just vocalising something that holds her back from enjoying the music. It’s just an opinion. And tbh I’d say mostly she just doesn’t like the music. She would listen to it if she did, even with the toxicity. Plenty of other things have their negative and toxic sides and people still consume it. I like J-Pop idols myself and it’s also not pretty. But I like it for the music and to support the members!
@@popuri48that’s not the point though?? the whole point is first of all, you don’t EVER have to bring up someone’s death, and if you do make sure you know the facts because that’s just so disrespectful.

But the point I got so touched was when she opened herself up saying that they could give her some lists and she'll start getting into the music, she's the type of person kpop fans would actually wanna meet, Not mentioning the haters, not even a lot of non-stans are willing to open themselves to kpop
14:13 the cause of death was never and never will be proven by the family nor the agency but I get what she meant with the toxicity among the kpop industry. It reminds me of Wendy and Seulgi when they couldn't eat the smallest scoop of ice cream because of the staff managers
This is so disrespectful, no reason was given for Moonbin’s death and the family has asked people to stop speculating. Could be physical health, could be mental health, could be due to idol pressure, could be due to several other possibilities (his life was more than being an idol, is it really impossible to think of other reasons for his mental health to go down?)… I understand the mole isn’t a kpop fan so it’s normal they don’t know, but them saying this info was spread is so disappointing. Whoever wrote whatever they found should be ashamed.

For some of us, once we have an ult group I guess its not easy to invest that energy into something different
This was me. Tried to get into other groups but my energy was so invested into BTS. I am in awe in how people can be strong fans for multiple groups, I could barely keep up with BTS and this lead me to leave the fandom because I felt if I was behind in all their V lives, not continuously updated on their schedules and song releases. I couldn’t call myself a fan

thank you!!!!!!!!! it was so upsetting how she threw his name out there when talking about mental health when nothing has been confirmed and his mom asked people to stop speculating
The one thing I'll always look down on when someone is critiquing the industry is them using someone's death as fodder for being against the whole genre. (Especially Monnbin's since nothing was ever confirmed). Also, like, I agree whole heartedly that the industry can be very harmful, but also literally every entertainment industry has incredibly deep flaws that often harm performers. K-pop isn't the only industry with issues, and lots of the critiques against it always have a hint of racism and xenophobia underneath them. And genuinely *hating* a genre/industry and hating on the people that like it is really immature.
I find it pretty weird that she brought up his death as a critique towards kpop as if anyone had ever said that he did it because of troubles in the industry. It was never even implied that it had anything to do with kpop. Most ”kpop haters” who claim they hate it because of the industry are extremely hypocritical anyways, they definitely have different reasons for hating it (often misogyny and racism) that they simply don’t want to admit. Like, why are you not as passionate about hating hollywood (a quick google search will show you the horrors of scooter braun for example), why do you then buy your clothes from h&m and shein, why is your phone an iphone etc etc… It is obvious that they only care about exploitation of workers when they can weaponize it as a talking point against kpop fans.
I don't think his death is being used as "fodder", it's literally just 1 example. it might not have been entirely accurate, but she could have easily picked someone else, it's just that that came to mind first. it doesn't make her point any less valid
In her defence, she might have just heard mainstream media talking about how he died and people assuming why, and since she’s not into K-pop she may have never looked into it to see that the cause hasn’t been confirmed. It’s easy to believe something when everything is saying it’s true and it’s part of an industry you’re not really into/dislike so therefore you’re not inclined to look into it yourself
You shouldn't use someone's death as an argument to justify your point. Moonbin's name shouldn't have been mentioned here, not when his mother has specifically asked everyone to stop speculations and spreading mis-information about his death. As a media channel or an editor you should have been careful about it. Disappointed but not surprised.
I felt for Pablo during this episode like as a KPOP 2nd gen fan, majority of my ult groups are the older ones, but I do currently bias the newer ones. But he mentioned Mina from TWICE as his bias, though like that counts to me. I was feeling the energy from them all when it comes to concerts and mentioning groups like as in who is ult biases and groups they listen to
Girl FIRST OF ALL Y’all need to remove that comment about moonbin have y’all no shame… speculating about how he died when his own MOTHER told you to stop…
Kinda weirded out that the "hater" brought up moonbin when his cause of death was never given to us. I felt that was really disrespectful. And I feel like you can 100% critique the kpop industry for being horrible towards their trainees and idols but hating the actual idols and being so against listening to it or engaging in it is kind of embarassing. Like how she said "unfortunately I sat through the whole thing" "Unfortunately I learnt a whole dance" like it doesn't give me the vibe that you actually hate it because of the reasons you provided. Like you can dislike it but she was being so rude about it
She shouldnt have talked about things she doesnt know. Jubilee should have been more careful as they have +8M subscribers. Edit out the part about Moonbin immediately. This is disrespectful and disappointing. Enough with the speculations. Let him rest in peace.
lmaooooo from the beginning I already knew it was gonna be her BECAUSE she's way too quiet compared to others. the others know about older group and also underrated group but she just picked the popular one 😂
That was a very disrespectful thing to say about Moonbin. His family purposefully didn’t disclose how he died and told people not to speculate, so you don’t know that’s how he died
As a K-Pop fan who got into it in 2017 who primarily only listens to BTS, Stray Kids, Exo, Blackpink and NCT I’d be kicked out real quick. I didn’t know most of these things, I just like the music 😭 (honestly I mostly know about BTS so that would make them distrust me). Are there any other chill K-Pop fans out there??
Yes! I got into kpop in 2013 through ss501. Then came fx, CN Blue. In 2017 got into BTS as my ult group. I dont really care about lingos, i just like the music
I also mostly stick to listening to the music only, I'm a chill fan 😌😂 I Love Day6, The rose, Seventeen, Oneus and Enhypen, but I listen to any song which I find enjoyable really. 😄
This video made me realize that people think that being a kpop stan is a personality trait smh. Like your personality doesn't have to change just cause you like kpop
the casual mention of moonbin hurts and it's disrespectful especially since we don't know what happened and speculating that it was his mental health to prove that the industry is toxic is off-putting. Yes, the industry is toxic and can cause idols poor mental health but i don't understand why people have to bring up idols who have passed like Jonghyun, Sulli or even Moonbin to prove their points 😅 it disregards who they were as people and what they stood up for just to be used as an example to prove its a toxic industry.
i hate how the mole brougth moonbin up like its nothing she and we dont really know why he died since the family wants to keep it private which i respect
CUT THE CLIP ABOUT MOONBIN OUT. This so clearly goes against the family's wish for people to not speculate about his passing. It should not be used as a means to establish a moral high ground. Period.
I honestly relate to Skylar in that once I dove deep into multiple groups in KPOP I dove even deeper into the dark side. I find myself loving the music but fighting this inner battle making sure I am kept conscious of the struggles and injustices occurring within the industry. And because I value the music so much and I vibe with it, I am very protective of the members' wellbeing. I hate seeing people be withheld from having freedom and experience abuse. 🙅🏻♀️💜💜💜💜💜🫰🏻🫰🏻🫰🏻
that comment about moonbin at 14:13 was actually disgusting and disrespectful. we don’t know the circumstances of his passing and it’s none of our business. to use his death as an “example” that kpop is bad is vile and i’m shocked that nobody called her out on it
100% that’s what i thought. as an aroha my heart dropped. NOBODY knows the cause of his death and it’s really upsetting to see people talking about that.
I vibe with you Pablo. I love my 2nd and 3rd gen groups but I'm just not familiar with the newer stuff. I started listening to kpop in 2009 but got out of kpop since 2016 and trying to get with all the new stuff but it doesn't quite hit the same for me. I feel like such a veteran for liking older groups even though I'm like 23 😅. Still going hardcore for girls generation tho ❤
why would she mention moon bin like that out of nowhere?? especially with info that isn't even true? ppl are so desensitized to others to the point that they're using tragic events as gotcha moments and its sad.
why mention moonbin in that scenario when his own family pleaded with fans and the general public to not speculate about his cause of death... there is a reason why the public was never clued in on his cause of death? your platform is entirely too big to air this type of stuff out there
When I was a kid, about 20 years ago, I remember being made fun of relentlessly for listening to J-Pop/J-Rock. I'm glad that today, while I'm sure that bullying is still prevalent, this kind of music much more accepted by society.
Hard agree. It’s nice seeing merch for things like anime, kpop, vocaloid, etc. being sold in America nowadays because 10 years ago you couldn’t find hardly anything
not her speaking on moonbin when she doesn’t even know anything. his family asked for everyone to stop speculating on his cause of death. moonbin was not an idol that was hated on and was very well loved. he also had a lot of input into the direction of the music and concepts of astro and his unit with sanha. he also always spoiled things because he knew even the ceo couldn’t get him in trouble. he could’ve not renewed his contract with their agency at the beginning of the year if they weren’t treating him correctly, but he did.
Please stop mentioning moonbin's name when even the cause of his death isnt clear. If you are reading this i hope you know that nothing regarding his passing away has been confirmed. His mother asked us to stop speculating anything regarding what happened. We as arohas have been able to respect that. I hope y'all can do the same.
for the mole, kpop itself is not a genre tho like there is literally songs and styles for every one to enjoy. the typical kpop sound might not be for everyone and those are usually the more popular ones but if you dig deeper there are seriously songs for everyone!!
I really like this video I feel like it was really respectful and the energy of everyone fangirling/boying together is so wholesome😭 girl with the nct dream tattoo is literally MEE
the one thing that i dont like about the kpop odd ones out is how the contestants stereotype kpop fans and then say that a kpop fan is just someone who enjoys the music like no you don't have to like newer groups you don't have to have twitter you don't have to know all the dances
Hey aroha this side! I understand that she doesn't have any bad intentions but there's already so much that moonbin's family and his friends are going through that a video on your platform which has such a huge reach will help further spread misinformation. The cause of his passing away hasn't been confirmed as of yet and his family has again and again asked us all from making any assumptions about the same. The rumors have gotten so bad that his mother whose pain one can't even fathom reached out through a letter expressing how she wants people to stop talking about how her son passed away. Moonbin and his family deserves at the very least to be respected. Please edit this part out. There's so much misinformation this video is gonna make it harder for the family. Please edit it out
i was genuinely enjoying this video up until the last part. i get that she's the mole and probably wasn't aware of the misinformation but i really wish she didn't mention moonbin. as an aroha, it still hurts deeply. and even more so when non-fans talk about how he passed even though nothing has been confirmed. if anything, this just shows the irreparable damage the media and police have caused from reporting speculation. his family even put out a statement to not speculate so i think we should all respect their wishes. i can really only speak for myself but i think other arohas can relate that even though we're back to "normal" life, we're very much still mourning his loss. even the smallest things that remind me of him still makes me tear up sometimes. i still vividly remember that day-what i was doing when i found out, holding back my tears out in public trying to process everything, and eventually crying in front of my boss because i couldn't hold my tears any longer. i still vividly remember stepping foot in my local kpop store because they set up a memorial and immediately crying the second i saw his picture, and then crying even more at washington square park at another memorial for him. so to hear people speak about him this way is just....awful, really
@@siennaschatz5707 i'm sorry but no, moonbin is not the perfect example for that. the industry is toxic, yes, but it was never confirmed how he died so to just conclude that his passing is the direct result of the toxic kpop industry is not only speculative, but also insensitive. even the ones who say it's because of a preexisting health condition are still speculating, which his family does not want us to do. unless they ever announce the cause of his death, bringing up moonbin in this sort of discourse will never be okay

It just rubs me the wrong way when people, especially who aren’t in the fan base use idols deaths to prove a point. Moonbin’s life should not be used as an example on the toxicity of the industry, it’s so disrespectful to his memory, his life, and his family.

Moonbin is one of the most honest and genuine idol out there. he was never afraid to speak his truth. his face can’t lie when he doesn’t like anything, even when it’s sponsored. there was no unnecessary hate. he was always praised by fans, nonfans, staffs and even idols by his performances and personality. he was so loved!
for real, like at first I was trying to understand her reason to hate kpop until she mentioned him, it's so unecesary to mention him using him as an example for the toxic industry, if she doesn't even know him or what happened, one of the things I loved about binnie was how he literally couldn't care less about the beauty standards or any expectations the public had over idols, he always said he ate very well not following those idol strict diets, and didn't care about saving face for his "idol image" like the time he just took out his hair extensions on camera, he was so hard working and involved in his art, music, choreography, loved his fans but still set limits , he was one of the most human, transparent, realest idols I've known throughout all my years as a kpop stan.
were u friends w him or something? 💀yall need to chill
I mean I get what you're saying and not even trying to hate, but at the same time how do we actually know? As a fan, we only see his interactions on the surface and the outside. thank you!!!!!!!!! it was so upsetting how she threw his name out there when talking about mental health when nothing has been confirmed and his mom asked people to stop speculating
They look so happy. I mean I would be to if I would meet other people that enjoy the same music I do.
Yes! I got into kpop in 2013 through ss501. Then came fx, CN Blue. In 2017 got into BTS as my ult group. I dont really care about lingos, i just like the music
I also mostly stick to listening to the music only, I'm a chill fan 😌😂
I Love Day6, The rose, Seventeen, Oneus and Enhypen, but I listen to any song which I find enjoyable really. 😄
This video made me realize that people think that being a kpop stan is a personality trait smh.
Like your personality doesn't have to change just cause you like kpop
Exactly!
Fr i agree i hate people that base their entire personality on Kpop smh
the casual mention of moonbin hurts and it's disrespectful especially since we don't know what happened and speculating that it was his mental health to prove that the industry is toxic is off-putting.
MORE LOVE FOR 2ND GEN KPOP FANS! u can be a Kpop Stan and stay in the older realm its really not that serious
I wish they would have talked more about the toxic fans.
i hate how the mole brougth moonbin up like its nothing she and we dont really know why he died since the family wants to keep it private which i respect
6:08 the moment she said glowstick instead of lightstick she was my first choice.
lol same that was the point I knew for sure
Yeah I thought I was the only one who caught that 😂 I immediately knew when she said that because my mom calls them a glow sticks too
I vibe with you Pablo.
Bruh she should listen to like the solo artists like Dean, Bibi, Penomoco, Heize and so many other great artists!
Exactly although they’re all technically not K-Pop they’re K-HipHop and K-R&B minus Bibi I feel like
Omg Penomeco!! His music is soo underrated!
Or oceanfromtheblue and Colde 😁. pH-1 is pretty fire too
@deszu exactly
@deszuno one said they’re kpop
not every k pop stan needs twitter nor needs to be updated with new groups
Exactly!
why mention moonbin in that scenario when his own family pleaded with fans and the general public to not speculate about his cause of death... there is a reason why the public was never clued in on his cause of death? your platform is entirely too big to air this type of stuff out there
im not defending her entirely but like she said she is not a kpop fan so she wouldn’t really know much about him or his death 🤷♀️
When I was a kid, about 20 years ago, I remember being made fun of relentlessly for listening to J-Pop/J-Rock. I'm glad that today, while I'm sure that bullying is still prevalent, this kind of music much more accepted by society.
What do you mean by ‘this kind of music’? kpop and jpop/jrock r so different…. It almost sounds like u think that all Asian music r the same
Hard agree. It’s nice seeing merch for things like anime, kpop, vocaloid, etc. being sold in America nowadays because 10 years ago you couldn’t find hardly anything
@@Poop-pd9tgit’s not that serious they prolly meant music that originates from different countries
@@mokkoriman71Gen Z changed the game. Been this way since like 2016
I remember even in 2015 it was weird, but it seems the last 2 years have really changed everything especially with tiktok
I love when they talked about music is not just about understanding the language or the lyrics! it's so true!
6:58 I don’t have Twitter, vlive, weverse bubble or nothing
Same. I only rely on TH-cam and i rarely check my Insta acc 😭😭
That girl surely is chronically online or somenthing
same!!! i think that was unnecessary because not everyone needs to have twitter to be a kpop stan
vlive doesn't exist anymore bro
14:05 im sorry baby, but thats everywhere. Your fav singer in the west had restrictions too
Their energy together is top tier
not her speaking on moonbin when she doesn’t even know anything. his family asked for everyone to stop speculating on his cause of death. moonbin was not an idol that was hated on and was very well loved. he also had a lot of input into the direction of the music and concepts of astro and his unit with sanha. he also always spoiled things because he knew even the ceo couldn’t get him in trouble. he could’ve not renewed his contract with their agency at the beginning of the year if they weren’t treating him correctly, but he did.
We do not know how Moon Bin died so please let's not speculate.
THE ENERGY WHEN WE KPOP STANS REUNITE IS JUST SO WHOLESOME I LOVE IT
IKR! 🔥
I started getting into K-pop this year because of Boys Planet. Loved the Seok Matthew shout out! This was a really fun episode!
for the mole, kpop itself is not a genre tho like there is literally songs and styles for every one to enjoy. the typical kpop sound might not be for everyone and those are usually the more popular ones but if you dig deeper there are seriously songs for everyone!!
12:51 one day a mole should get one of those inkbox tattoos of whatever topic is happening
I knew it was Skylar from the moment she called a light stick a “glow stick ”
Leave moonbin alone and stop making assumptions please cut this out
I really like this video I feel like it was really respectful and the energy of everyone fangirling/boying together is so wholesome😭 girl with the nct dream tattoo is literally MEE
leave moonbin alone stop speculating how he passed its so disrespectful to him and his family
LEAVE MOONBIN ALONE!
the one thing that i dont like about the kpop odd ones out is how the contestants stereotype kpop fans and then say that a kpop fan is just someone who enjoys the music like no you don't have to like newer groups you don't have to have twitter you don't have to know all the dances
5:01 SOMEONE KNOWS &TEAM?! This makes me so happy they're so underrated 😭technically they're a global group and can be considered Kpop
Yeah they’re mostly just popular in Korea and Japan cause that’s what they were made for
Ahh a fellow Luné. Hi :D
@@moonchild8609 heyyy
I love them sooooo much
Same😩 I love &team!
Please edit it out
i was genuinely enjoying this video up until the last part. i get that she's the mole and probably wasn't aware of the misinformation but i really wish she didn't mention moonbin. as an aroha, it still hurts deeply. and even more so when non-fans talk about how he passed even though nothing has been confirmed. if anything, this just shows the irreparable damage the media and police have caused from reporting speculation. his family even put out a statement to not speculate so i think we should all respect their wishes.
i can really only speak for myself but i think other arohas can relate that even though we're back to "normal" life, we're very much still mourning his loss. even the smallest things that remind me of him still makes me tear up sometimes. i still vividly remember that day-what i was doing when i found out, holding back my tears out in public trying to process everything, and eventually crying in front of my boss because i couldn't hold my tears any longer. i still vividly remember stepping foot in my local kpop store because they set up a memorial and immediately crying the second i saw his picture, and then crying even more at washington square park at another memorial for him. so to hear people speak about him this way is just....awful, really
it’s literally true though. as much as it hurts you deeply, the industry is toxic & moonbin is a perfect example of that. i think she did great
@@siennaschatz5707 i'm sorry but no, moonbin is not the perfect example for that. the industry is toxic, yes, but it was never confirmed how he died so to just conclude that his passing is the direct result of the toxic kpop industry is not only speculative, but also insensitive. even the ones who say it's because of a preexisting health condition are still speculating, which his family does not want us to do. unless they ever announce the cause of his death, bringing up moonbin in this sort of discourse will never be okay
@@siennaschatz5707 please stfu about sensitive topics you know nothing about. the cause of moonbins death was never confirmed and the family asked us to stop speculating on it. saying that moonbin is an example of the toxic industry directly assumes the cause. please stop and respect their wishes
Stop using moonbin like an example. You have no proof, and It's very disrespectful to continue to causally spread rumours about someone that passed away.
It just rubs me the wrong way when people, especially who aren’t in the fan base use idols deaths to prove a point. Moonbin’s life should not be used as an example on the toxicity of the industry, it’s so disrespectful to his memory, his life, and his family. Also to assume his cause of death was mental health goes directly against his mothers wishes. As a Shawol and Aroha this disgusts me and angers me immensely.
The song firework🎆 from &TEAM is definitely the best comeback this summer ❤
