I totally gauge my life in reference to when a grump playthrough was. I have very formative memories of junior high, most of which include their Wind Waker playthrough ;-;
1:26:40 - I just noticed, because I finally decided to focus on the game after all these years - it seems health in this game is like in a Sonic game. The green gems allow you to be hit once, but then you die on the next hit. Arin wasn't going through the game without taking damage. He just had green gems to protect him, and after dying, they were gone.
Most Mandela effects are because you first hear these things when you are too young to properly form a complete memory, as memory is unreliable anyway. Then when you are older a new popular piece of media comes out, or someone popular, that gets the line wrong and it becomes more a part of your, and thus the collective, memory. In the case of 'Luke I am your father', I would venture a guess that it was Tommy Boy that did it.
I heckin' loved their Resident Evil playthrough, but silly Arin kept fumbling with the directions because he turned off the tank controls he claimed were clunky. 😂
