Deck betrayal would be overpowered. An auto-include in any aggro deck to increase draw consistency. If an aggro deck gets anywhere near the bottom of their deck they have already lost so this has no downside.
It is in your deck, and if you draw it you die. So it needs to be combo'd with King Togwaggle to swap decks when you only have 1 card left. Draw cards have poor stats and the player would need to survive against board-clears until they make it to 1 card left. Coldlight Oracle, Research Project, Dirty Rat, Demonic Project, double Gnomeferatu, and other new cards could all counter it. It is not legendary, so the player could include 2 in the deck and swap decks with 2 cards left. It is a hunter card. So I would make a deck with taunts, charge, rush, draw, healing, and spell removal cards just so I could survive until turn 10. Then with 7 or 8 cards left in my deck I would play tracking, tracking, and King Togwaggle for the instant win. You do not need to play the agro game at all, you only need to survive until 10 mana with 8 cards left in the deck. That is your only win condition.
@@PeterLozo you only use it as a win condition if you want to meme. The power of this card is increased consistency, playing 28 cards over 30 is a big advantage.
+Behomie There's a lot of cards that thin out the opponent's deck or makes them draw more...people could literally kill you via mill. It could be an okay deck but there's so many tech cards that every time it becomes popular people would just counter it into oblivion.
@@davidbodor1762 This deck would just be face hunter with the 2 worst cards replaced with this card. Yes, there is milling and deck thinning but these have never been a huge concern for the deck in the past and shouldn't be any worse with this addition. The counter to both techs is strong and immediate face smashing. The deck that counters this would be odd warrior, but that's never been enough to force out aggro before.
I think community generated cards are at the heart of Blizzard's problem. The community input is SOOOO good, and since Blizzard is averse to using community generated ideas (i.e. lawyers), they are forced to create in the spaces left behind. If Blizzard could create a royalty mechanism for the authors of community generated cards, everyone would benefit. Cheers.
Blizzard is absolutely not forced to only create cards that have never been created before, it just means they can't (or won't) officially acknowledge that was where they were sourced. Just look at Fandral Staghelm - someone got his name, cost, stats _and effect_ exactly right just before WotoG cards were revealed.
Kazet they don't need to ask for the rights to shit, when you make a custom hearthstone card with a warcraft character or whatever, you don't own anything. (though itd be a dick move for them to just rip something they actually saw but, lets be honest, what're the odds they don't just come up with some of this stuff on their own)
They could also just pay a small amount to the creator much like clip shows do to content creators on TH-cam, I think the average is around $600 for shows like Ridiculousness. $600 is a drop in Blizzards money pool.
Thunderfury shouldve had a battlecry, saying: While this is on the board, all emotes are replaced by "Did someone say [Thunderfury, blessed blade of the windseeker]!?"

Wiiiiiiiiiii! Kripp, you're spoiling me with these videos! First Kripperino highlight, now THIS?! Have some of my new cards: (1.) 7 7/4 Legendary Mech for Priest: At the end of your turn cast 'More Arms!' on this minion. Deathrattle: Give a random friendly minion all enchantments from this minion. (2.) 0 1/1 Legend for Rogue: Battlecry: Add a 0/2 Decoy with Taunt to your hand. And he lost his helmet, so when he dies he gives all his arms away. I think this card has some nice applications. Priests have some nice enchantments that can work with this effect. (2.) Listen, listen... Your opponent can't see this card. Until you attack with it, your opponent doesn't know you even played it. So if it doesn't die to a board clear, or some lucky missile it can stay on board forever. I tried to make a card that can't be detected by your opponent, 'cuz it's something you can only design in HS.
Deck Betrayel could actually see play in some form of Aggro Hunter, if they're not dead by the time you hit your bottom 2 cards you ain't winning, and thins your deck out to reliably draw damage (no more bottom skill commands!)
Kripp missed what Deck Betrayal actually does. Might seem like a meme card but it's actually a card that reduces your deck size by 2. Having 2 less cards is an extreme advantage but comes at a huge cost.
Your math is probably correct, but it's still a 6.67% deck size decrease which is huge. It's never be printed, but it's an interesting concept. And I say it's an extreme advantage because hunters will never hit that 29th card and win. Seems like a small advantage, but it's a card that literally every hunter aggro deck would play. Hell, if a combo hunter appeared, it'd be run in that deck too. It's a card that actually has no downsides despite seemingly having a massive downside.
The thing that I don't like about Disarmament is that Legendary weapons exist for all classes. Meaning unlike minion/spell targeting secrets, there's basically no way for a lot of classes to play around this at all unless they want to add a Chief Inspector to their deck, which is just...ugh.
Thank you Octavian & Rania! This video is incredible! Let's get it to Blizzard and get the card creators recognized on Reddit! If I wasn't so lazy, I'd be the next Kripperino that finds these out! Lol
Holy shit, Terrible Ooze is probably the best custom card I've ever seen (IMO). I don't think I've ever felt sadder that a custom card isn't real and likely will never be in the game, because tearable cards is the best keyword idea i think i've ever heard.
These are honestly my favorite of Kripp’s videos. The creativity of the HS community is off the charts and I really wish blizzard would at least consider these fanmade cards or hold a competition or something like that.
Remember that time you were looking at custom cards live on stream and couldn't stop laughing at "EEEEEUGH, Will Get Right On It (Little Shit)"? Would be nice if you did your next video in the series in that style, live recording.
The last card can be use in Toggwaggle druid because you can mill yourself down to the final card in your deck and then swap deck via Toggwaggle, kind of op if you think about it
Deck betrayal is a really interesting idea. It makes your deck essentially smaller and more efficient, so if you're playing a fast hunter deck there's really no reason NOT to play it. But what's even more exciting is the tog-waggle hunter dream!
I would change bluff so it triggers whenever the opponent plays a card. That way it keeps in line with the game style of secrets wherein they trigger on your opponent's turn, as a reaction to an opponent's play. It also keeps the opponent engaged and allows him to potentially counter play by not doing anything.
Deck betrayal is auto include in all decks not intending to fatigue because it’s basically Upstart Goblin from Yugioh but with no drawback. You get to play with less cards in your deck, making your deck more consistent. OP.
Arcane Trap thoughts: This counter is different - it might screw you up even more than a counterspell. Imagine you have 7 mana, wanna play 4 mana spell and a 3 drop. You play the spell first (as if it's the other way around it's just a counterspell for 2 mana). Than you end up spending 6 mana and have only 1 left - now you can't play anything. To a more extreme example - 2 mana spell and 8 mana drop - again. It's situational but it seems not bad.
Deck betrayal at two would work like they are the last two cards? Could add a lot of consistency for combo/aggro decks since now they are essentially running 28 cards total.
Lmao when he was talking about the noble card and emphasized that Assassinate was a spell even though that has nothing to do with whether or not it can kill the card idk i just thought that was funny and genuine and im glad u kept that in everyone is so serious nowadays so its nice to get a break from that
Wait, how is recruit a "mostly a miss"? There have been several decks that have been tailored specifically for the recruit mechanic, and at least 3 of them have seen tier 1/2 status.
I *love* the hunter minion! The paladin secret I do not like for the sole reason that, it being a transform effect and only triggered from *played* weapons, it just kills kingsbane rogue dead. It should either trigger on all equipped weapons so there is some possible counterplay, or just destroy the weapon rather than transforming it. :P
Deck Betrayal is an EXCELLENT card. Not just as a counter. It's a TREMENDOUSLY powerful aggro card, because it's effectively a 0 mana, draw a card spell. It makes your deck effectively one card smaller, upping your consistency.
Deck Betrayal is nicely countered by Tracking. Play when there's 3 cards remaining, pick the non-deck betrayal. Ez. Now you can include cards like Rexxar DK in the deck cause you can move onto control if your aggro fails.
I love the Deck Betrayal because you can basically build a deck of 28 cards. You can get rid of it with Hemet, or win the game with Togwaggle if this is your last card.
while reviewing the first card you didn't mention that the Kingsbane deck would be straight dead because transformation doesn't break the weapon so the whole point of the deck would be crushed, also there is a chance of playing some kind of secret removal in the Kingsbane decks
I always enjoy seeing the creativity some people can have and hope blizzard adds some of these cards to the game, though unlikely. Thanks for the vid Kripp
As I've said in trump's video, Overclock is busted for 1 mana. Have 2 1/5s upgradable framebots on the field - suddenly you swing for 10 next turn. For 4 mana. It only goes up as the mechs are more costly. Or have mana reduction guy plus make one mech immune to damage - infinite damage attack for 3 cards on turn 5
It is also very good for Aggro it allows you to run a 28 card deck for higher consistency as you never draw the last card of your deck (unless you are against a mill deck or something)
Varimathras could decrease the cards for the mechathun combo (mechathun, galvanizer x2, bloodbloom, and the 4 mana aoe that discards your hand,) to varimathras, mechathun and the aoe card.
I guess the quest completion process gets back to the state which it was at the start of your turn. If you play time rift, then play this, it also resets the quest and it's completion. I don't get why kripp was talking about Deck Betrayal like it was a druid card. It was colored for hunter and was probably made with the intent that, with that card in your deck, you shorten your deck by 2 cards. This seems like it would be good for aggro or, somehow, combo decks that need to know that they won't draw 2 cards that they only put in the deck to get the full 30 cards. Also, yeah, togwaggle would be fun, but how many times have you seen a hunter get down to 2 cards in their deck without losing?

If you play time rift, then click on the extra turn button, it would reset everything to the start of that extra turn. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

what about mech that summons a magnetic mech? kinda like terrible ooze but with mechs?
I love these videos Kripp make more!
That last card is OP with toggwaggle...
Why does Drop the Bombs only target mechs? It's functionally similar to Corrupting Mist which already targets everything and no one uses it.
The series is back!
What does the the eternity stone do? I’m confused.
I like the idea of the Thunderfury weapon but my only problem is that Shamans don't use swords :D

Use togwaggle to switch decks when deck betrayal is the last card in your deck. Insta win :D
Wait. What if you mill your opponent and yourself, then play Coldlight Oracle and draw into Deck Betrayal with Lorewalker Cho on the board?
I don't get why kripp was talking about Deck Betrayal like it was a druid card. Also, yeah, togwaggle would be fun, but how many times have you seen a hunter get down to 2 cards in their deck without losing?
If I'm not mistaken, Varimathras can use and destroy your opponent's unused mana crystals, which - at 6/6 for 6 - seems....kind of busted.
