- The wonderful woman who owns Portland Consignment allowed me to film a video at her store while it was closed. It is perfectly quiet accept for the traffic noise going by on the hwy outside. Dear Melissa said, "lock the door after me", and left me there alone! That is how kind and trusting she was of me. I have a two hour video which I have broken up into two parts. Today is part 2. Tomorrow will be the Soft spoken version. There is a special appearance of (store owner) Melissa's arms at the end of this video as she checks me out at the counter. We had such a hard time not talking! Ha Ha!
This store is awesome and gave me some fantastic sounds and purchases! Yay! So you may expect a few videos more as a result of this trip. Please stay tuned this month for some great sounds!
Mostly what you will hear in this video is the sound of plastic crinkles, purse rummaging, paper crinkles, book page turning, jewelry rummage, toy rummage, etc. etc. Too many to name!

Ah! You caught that Al! Very observant. I am learning to fit a bit of tapping in here and there where it might come more naturally to me. But it still feels really strange. 😂 😘🤗

I love when you take us shopping with you! It's fun to see the things you pick and the prices are great. Second hand shopping is somewhat of a competitive hobby where I'm from, things are quite expensive and almost better to just buy brand new. I want to visit your frequented consignment stores!

My mom is diabetic and has bad wounds on her feet. She’s goes to wound care once a week and then I change her bandages. Medical supplies are so expensive. Seeing that basket of gauze and it being what she uses for .99!!!! Amazed me. I never thought to check consignment shops for that!!! Another great video!!!! Always relaxes me!!!!!
It’s actually a very strange thing to find in a consignment shop. Thinking the owner of the store must have gotten a hold of a family who had maybe the same issues as your mom. A lot of these items come from households where people have passed away. Or from a storage unit that was abandoned. $.99 was good good price? I wish I could just ship it all out to you Candice! I wish blessings on your mother and I’m so happy to know you help take care of her.
@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction .99 is an amazing price. My mom has been paying $5 a roll from our local medical supply store. I change her bandages two three times a week. So it gets super expensive.
I definitely wouldn’t have anyone else take care of her. The woman raised me. Now it’s my turn to take care of her.
She helps me and my kids all the time. They need their grandma around for as long as possible especially with another on the way!!!

I have an abundance of unused gauze and other medical supplies from breaking my jaw in a car accident this past Christmas. I'd be happy to send you all of my gauze, gauze tape, and any other medical supplies you need. My at home nurse gave me a lifetime supply of it all along with antibiotics (IV) from my PICC line if needed.
The ethernet cables and books were my favorite, so relaxing! Thank you. 🥰

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, I just can't stop shouting with excitement!!! This is soooooooo gooooooood!!! This is absolute bliss to my eyes and ears!!! I remember that show! I’ve been watching a lot of reruns lately with my husband. Really enjoyed the show called, The Middle. It was hilarious. One of my favorites from the past was, The Golden Girls. Melissa, the store owner, makes those plates. I have bought one from her before.

Yes. It was to be near the family once more. We gave up a lot to be here for sure. But at least we are completely out of debt. No mortgage or rent. It's all for the best. I think God led us here because it gave us the opportunity for my husband to be with his brother during his fight with cancer. He got to be with him for months and months before he passed away just recently.

Another amazing video. This place looks like a fun place to shop. I go to Portland often becauae I live in Washington I may need to find this place when I visit in the summer. I enjoy thrift shopping yesterday I found a beautiful amber vintage fairy light and it made me so happy it was on my list of things I have been wanting.
