I bought the smallest 2000 series. It's a nice smooth reel for the cost but it's not fully sealed nor waterproof. I wouldn't even consider it or the larger sizes for salt water.
Probably a Good choice I have several Piscifun reels. They so far are smooth, cast well, and as far as they are all sealed high quality bearings, along with high drag. They've also started making inroads in the Bass Community. I have 2 Spinners and 1 bait cast. I saw an independent review by a fellow user for his bait caster he used for a yr. He took it in to a reel service guy had him tear it down for cleaning and the old hand was impressed talking parts and build and Mfg's design etc.
This new fishing reel I think is interesting. It improves many parts perfectly. I'm reviewing a fishing reel and I think the internal parts of this reel will be very good.
mine broke while i was jigging off the surf for fluke this morning. feels like gears aren't meshing. i didn't take it apart yet. i might have six hours of fishing on it. i see piscifun discontinued this reel already. i wonder why?

Twitch him a little next time also a trick I picked up is after closing the bail slowly pull some line with left hand if the nibble or light bite you can feel it and snap the set.
I personally love this brand I have a batecast reel That I got for about 60 bucks and it performs as good as one I paid a 160 for I think that they compare well with big brands at Half the cost
