You hit the nail on the head. Most of Europe HEAVILY depends on the fact that the US has their back. At this point, NATO is basically a group of nations that all chip in a token force and in return get absolute security from the US. This is a big part of why Europe has a much larger social safety net. Europe simply does not have to spend a normal amount on defense because the US would never let a Western nation fall. I'm not going to comment on if this is a good or bad thing or anything related to that at all, but it's a verifiable fact.
Remember the US could have free health care if we pulled out of NATO. Remember the US could have free health care if we pulled out of NATO. Remember the US could have free health care if we pulled out of NATO. But Europe is our best trade partner. And if we pulled out, you would be speaking Russian. So, we won't pull out of NATO. what are you talking about? it's fully built now and has just completed its 3rd sea trial. the US government sees the fujian as a huge step up in capabilities for the PLA, and is now generally considered the most advanced non nuclear aircraft carrier on earth. china doesn't even need nuclear as all their naval operations are off their coast.

I think it depends ok if they actually want/accept the exemption. BTS has said they will all serve even though the Government was looking to exempt them. They have stated it is their duty to serve their country and want to do so.
You got it wrong. Even if you get an exemption, they should get five weeks of "basic military training." sonny enter the military training center for training.
As to U.S. Hypersonic missles we have 2 separate missles which have been designed and built that we know of and we have Laser weapons that are being installed on ships and other vehicles and can kill incoming missles and planes at the speed of light.
@СМЕРШ предателям и фашистам so the reason we are sure is due to mentality, in authoritarian nations, projecting strength is a massive thing you need to do so nations that are or lean so heavly into authoritarianism they should just go full authoritarian tend to show off their newest toys even before they are combat ready and sometimes they show off prototypes that will never be combat ready, an example of this is Russia showing of its T-14's and the SU-57 neither are combat ready but get shown off, on China's side I can name the JF-17, the J-31 those jets arnt combat ready, and they are working on trying to get their inventory of ZTZ-99s upgraded to the ZTZ-99A2 standard with reported mixed success because not all the hulls were made properly in nations that learn heavy into or are democratic dont need to to flex their milatary to show their power they do it though social programs and other institution meaning their military can keep tech they make secret (up to 50 years for the US before declassification laws come into play) a example of this is the fact the US had a working railgun in 1943-1944 and had operational stealth planes in the 60's hell the US airforce holds a HEAVLY redacted patent for anti-gravity tech filed in the 2000's and another HEAVLY redacted patent for mass reduction tech filed in the 2000's that will make thing work like they have less mass so I really think the US holds the card for most secret tech

@СМЕРШ предателям и фашистам sure, but the US has access to the top minds and top technology of many countries. If US allies invent new secret weapons, it makes sense for those allies to share with the US so that the US military can more effectively protect the alliance as a whole. In other words, NATO. Russia and China are limited in number of allies, so they gotta come up with new secret weapons mostly on their own. So they absolutely can have new secret weapons we should be worried about. But the US does have favorable odds.
The original video really missed the point of those expensive "failed" projects. So many things are tested by the U.S. The down side: too much stuff was crammed into, say, the Zumwalt platform. However, those systems which were successful on the Zumwalt live on, and so much was learned.
This is true. The Zumwalt brought about the Spy3 and Spy4 radar. The Spy3 was fitted to the Ford. A further development the Spy6 radar has also come about and is starting to come online now. The future warrior program brought about the MPF (mobile protected firepower) vehicle. It is essentially a light tank in a sense to deploy with light infantry units to provide direct firepower. A replacement to the Bradley is also in development that borrows from technology developed in the future warrior program. In the past year there have been dozens of new systems either brought to testing stage or early fielding stage in the US military. From the new M-5 rifle and M-250 machine gun, both with very advanced optics, to a new air to air missile (AIM 260), to a new frigate ship class being built as we speak. The US has hundreds of different research and design projects going all the time.
You nailed it pretty much about how lax Europe has gotten due to the US, because there was no more real peer to peer wars and the formation of the EU and Nato aswell made Europe feel pretty safe aswell as Russia not really doing anything directly (cold war) so hard to blame you but yall still got good tech and equipment compared to most of the world lol
Don’t put the U.K. in that same boat. It’s the ONLY country that’s kept up it’s NATO budget commitment in Europe. U.K. is much better than this old list suggests too. More advanced tech and more investment.
"Russia not really doing anything directly (cold war)" Russia didn't launch a massive invasion of Western Europe during that time but there was a threat. And the war wasn't "cold" for every countries. Russia and the USA were very active during that time and the winner was the one who could be more influent and powerful. Russia crumbled because it couldn't afford spending more in weapons, that's how they lost the previous war...

@@arturking999 I was in the army, stationed in Germany when Russia's economy collapsed and the wall came down. So, no, I didn't see it on CNN, I saw it with my own eyes! The main reason for the collapse of the USSR was the result of the absolute failure of communism worldwide. The wall wasn't built to keep Westerners out, it was built to keep their own people from fleeing to the West. Russia has won its wars due to logistical problems related to its size and climate. And with the size of its population that Russia is always ready to sacrifice to compensate for its lacks of military ability. Putin's Russia is rotten with corruption. The hypersonic bit didn't age well. The U.S. has joined the "club" with Russia and China. Hypersonics are overrated anyway. Other tools can perform the same tasks, and the cost per hypersonic is very high.
It's like over the last 60 plus years, the talk of how aircraft carriers or main battle tanks are going to be obsolete always pops up, yet here they are, still performing, or when we went into the First Gulf War, there were so many predictions that all the "advanced" Soviet weapons Iraq had would cause massive casualties for Allied forces, but it turned out Soviet equipment wasn't quite as good as we had feared. It seems that military history is full of OVER or UNDER estimating.
@@RogCBrand - True. The Russians and Chinese always seem to overhype (pardon the pun) their capabilities. The Pentagon likes to downplay its own capabilities; does wonders to keep the funds rolling in, and as a taxpayer, I'm okay with that spending.
If we, the general public, know about these technologies and capabilities, then know this also, the actual tech and capabilities are about 10+ years ahead of what we know right now.
Fairly certain the USA does have hypersonic missiles as well as defenses already in place for them. There are some things that we have that they just don't tell us. They were working on railguns for years before we found out about them actually being in play. Now they are mounting them on Navy ships. China and Russia have been behind on technology since the 80's at least so it doesn't even make sense that they'd have something more advanced than the NATO countries especially the US. For example we've had stealth tech since the 80's they are both just now getting out somewhat modernized stealth fighters.
China benefits from showing off its military strength. It makes countries less likely to face off against them in shows of force. The US is already feared for its military and there are diminishing returns to showing off. No sense giving other countries ideas for what they need to protect against.
We have had stealth since the late '60s....as of now there is not a country in the world that can match the us military. China is probably the closest but still not comparable

Just for everyone's info Heung Min Son was not required to do the full military service he was only required to do 4 weeks of military service. The reason is because he won Gold Medal at the 2018 Asian Games. Under Korean law atheletes who win a medal at the olympics or a gold medal at Asian Games are exempted from the full military service and only have to do 4 weeks of basic military training which Heung Min Son did
China has a large full time army but most of them are not highly trained where the U.S. full time army and reservists and National Guards are extremely highly trained and all have highly capable weapons. That doesn't exist in China. China has made some major increases in capability the last few years. Russia however I believe may have slipped to 4th at this point.

The F-35 rumors about it being a poor dogfighter actually are incorrect and come from a misleading early report about it going up against an F-15 in mock dogfights and losing multiple times because it was unable to get its nose around and turn tight enough to target the F-15. But this report omitted information about the conditions of this test and the actual F-35 they used. The F-35 they conducted this test with was actually one of the two original test fuselages and lacked all of the advanced avionics and stealth features and coating that make the full version of the F-35 so lethal and hard to find and target. It also did not have any of the advanced fire control technology onboard that allows the pilot to "look" through the aircraft fuselage and target-lock their opponent without even having a direct line of sight. The pilot's helmets alone cost close to $1 million USD and this pilot did not have this advantage that all other F-35 pilots flying these today have. They can even target enemy aircraft for other jets to shoot at with these weapon's systems, sharing information across the battlefield automatically. But in this test the pilot was flying a barebones version of the aircraft, basically fighting naked with his hands tied behind his back. Without all the features that make this jet so special it is like trying to outrace race a sports car on a road course with a pick-up truck. Thus the reason the pilot had to try and get his nose around to target-lock the smaller aircraft. Something the F-35 was never designed to do, as it is designed to kill with the assistance of a lot of very advanced technology. In fact one of the best uses of the F-35s stealth capabilities is as a forward targeting vehicle for less stealthy jets like the F-15 and even the A-10 that can act like bomb/missile trucks and safely release ordinance from miles in the rear and out of range of the enemy air defense systems and interceptor aircraft. A note about the decay of Russia's military and their inability to maintain their force is best explained by looking at their only aircraft carrier. It has to have a massive tug boat follow it around because it regularly breaks down and has to be towed back to a safe port (most recently while conducting operation off the coast of Syria). It was actually unfinished and still under construction in a Ukrainian shipyard when the Soviet Union collapsed in the early 1990s and its native Russian captain expelled all Ukrainian personnel and sailed it out of the shipyard with a skeleton crew to a nearby Russian port to keep it from becoming Ukraine's and the carrier has never been fully finished. It is rumored to have serious deficiencies in both flight operations facilities and personnel accommodations in addition to the well documented mechanical issues.
@@Militaryst. Oh yeah they do, one more if you count the Moscava at the bottom of the Black Sea. Didn't Ukraine hit that with a outdated missile as well? That was some great missile defense they got there as well. They can't even stop our hymars, a short range artillery missile, I am pretty sure we got nothing to worry about if we have to face off against the russian surface fleet. I am not so sure I would put a lot of faith in Russian missle tech getting any better or even being replenished for that matter when they can't get microchips anymore and anything with a chip in it is going to be banned, even on the secondary markets. They will not even be able to get them from China anymore... ...or did you not hear we blacklisted China on all microchips because they have been stealing our intellectual property and not paying for it? China has made an error in thinking we somehow couldn't live without their cheap labor but forgot about Mexico and India, lol. Now they will not get to build anything with a microchip in it and every company that has a manufacturing hub there is moving their manufacturing to India, Mexico, and back to the USA. @@Militaryst. No microchips are made in Russia, lol. There isn't a single chip wafer factory there. China only has the wafer plants to make gen 1&2 chips right now. And they can't service the machines because they are a proprietary US technology and the people left. They also are unable to develop their own chip technology (not as smart as they claim to be in China. Good at stealing technology, not so good at creating it.). Add that the USA just made it illegal for US citizens to work for any Chinese company in these protected technologies and any US citizens that do, lose their US citizenship and become subject to criminal charges in the USA. This has led to a mass exodus of ALL hitech personnel in the chip wafer field in China leaving all the factories sitting idol. Add that they can't import them either...No chips means no electronics being made. As for Russia; Russians can't even make the bearings for their rail cars (these are more complicated then you might think) or even just tires for vehicles, or repair the other high tech equipment they have like the refinery and drilling machinery with proprietary software that they can no longer get updates for because the technology belongs to the western companies that built it. This is an issue when you think you are scamming them by making them pay for everything to get a share of the oil and gas in exchange for their expertise and use of their technologies. Only problem is when they leave you can no longer fix their stuff nor do you know how to run it. The same with the aircraft russia kept. They have the same issues with them. Soon they will all need software updates and automatically shutdown until they get updates and since that is now banned tech it looks like Russians will all be riding around in An-2 biplanes, lol. So the least of Russia's manufacturing problems is microchips and as I said, there isn't a single wafer plant in the entire country. I feel bad for Russians. They have been so abused by their leaders for so long they have become abusers themselves. Angry at everyone else and blaming everyone else for there predicament instead of cleaning up the mess in their own yard and getting their own house in order. Russia is one of the richest resource nations on the planet with a small population in comparison to its size and wealth. Yet despite this wealth its people are poor and depressed and the nation has one of the highest rates of suicide in the world. Now thanks to Putin's war the source of that wealth has dried up for good because Europe will never buy Russian gas or oil again. And nobody else can consume as much as they were. Not China or India. Especially not at the price that they were getting for it before. So even if this entire mess went away now Putin still screwed you all.
@@socket_error1000 so Russian modern missiles are something to fear the issue with the Moscava was the defense system operated on the same band as the interal radio so if the defense system was on they couldn't use internal radios, so they left it off now don't get me wrong half the missile launch systems didn't work, and the Russian version of the CWIZ had recorded issues of jamming every 100 rounds and they equipped the ship with only one way look radar systems but ships that are fully outfitted and are in full working order are a real threat

As an american The US government does in fact keep the military breakthrough a secret. For example they unveiled a 6th generation fighter Plane they already have a 7th gen in development and an 8th gen being researched.
The US Air force is the largest air fleet in the world. And the US Navy has the second largest air fleet. It's been said that on the ground and in the water, in a head to head conflict of similar forces, there are other nations which could seriously hamper and harm US forces, especially if several nations acted in concert. And that's true on paper, in those narrow parameters. But in practice, in any conflict, the US simply owns the sky and the night (and by extension so does NATO). That's a pretty formidable combination.
imo direct energy weapon would be better then rail gun. they both uses about teh same energy but direct energy is faster and dotn need ammo storage space. the air force stop their laser gun research while the navy and army stop their rail gun development but they still pushing the direct energy research though. seeing how all new navy ship are pushing up in their energy generation, new carrier are generating 2x their current needed energy so it speculate that teh navy is really close to mass producing direct energy weapon for navy to mass deploy.
@@yia01 Directed energy weapons have range limitations and can't be fired over the horizon (since they don't arc). If the enemy has gotten close enough to shoot line-of-sight, then you've basically already lost.

there is just one thing that the Russian Military lacks, The Morale. The Ukrainian Military is almost the same as the Russian Military but they perform better than Russia, because of their high morale and they are fighting to death just to defending their motherland. The USSR doesn't have a well trained Military, they rely on Numbered, swarming enemies. Russia can't win in Ukraine unless the special operation becomes a total blown war that can send unnumbered troops.
The U.S. Air Force buying F-15EX fighters has NOTHING to do with the F-35 at all. The two aircraft don't even serve the same role. One is Air Dominance, the other is Multirole. They are buying them because the F-22 is no longer produced and there are old F-15C variants that are going to be retired with no replacement otherwise and they are still years out for the 6th-Gen NGAD fighter from being mass produced and combat-ready. The U.S. Navy is buying F/A-18E Super Hornets still because F-35Cs can't be built fast enough to replace the oldest of the F/A-18s that are also approaching retirement. They are buying 4th gen to fill the gap. Not because they are unhappy with the F-35. Also, the U.S. is deep into the development of hypersonic missiles but they also are deep into the development of laser defense systems. They are highly secretive about both and nobody amongst the public knows just how far these systems are. As for Russia, I think it should be obvious from their history to not take what they say at face value due to how many times they claim to have some advanced piece of weaponry to only find out it is a shadow of what they claim. China is new on the block as far as a major power but I wouldn't take what they say at face value either. All countries lie to some degree about their capabilities for propaganda purposes and nobody knows the truth. This even goes for the U.S. But the U.S. has more reason to hide more advanced technology than it does to flaunt it because what is already known by the public is sufficient to project power across the globe.
Plus, russia needs to export their weapons to subsidize their own procurement. The US has to downplay their weapons and hype enemy weapons to justify new projects and weapons.
Something you've probably never heard about Brazil is that during the Transatlantic slave trade, in which history depicts the US as the primary destination of slaves, the truth is that Brazil received a lot more slaves than the US. I can't remember the exact number right now... But it's at least 3x as many slaves as the US, possibly more.

Just to clarify a bit on the F-35 program, in the video he says that the US Air Force is purchasing more F-15's and F-18's due to fears over the F-35 being a failure. This is simply inaccurate and is an example of what happens when someone reads the headline news instead of diving deep on the item in question. The US Air Force is purchasing more F-15's and the US Navy is purchasing more F/A-18's because they're cheap and fulfill a role in their respective inventory that the F-35 cannot or should not. For instance, the F-15 is still King of the skies - with an impressive track record of 0 being lost due to enemy fire. The replacement for the F-15 was NEVER the F-35, it was suppose to be the F-22. However the administration at the time deemed the F-22 pointless as no adversary of the USA could even hope to rival it - so the program was cancelled leading the F-15 fleet to have to be supplemented with, you guessed it, more F-15's. The F/A-18 is a bit more complicated however it basically comes down to the fact that the F/A-18 can carry a LOT of bombs, as in it can carry almost 9 tons worth of bombs, and is very cheap. By comparison, the F-35 can only carry 2.5 tons if it wants to remain stealthy and 9 tons if it doesn't need to be stealthy which is the core problem. The F-35 is a stealth multi-role fighter, stealth is the hallmark it is built upon, negating it's stealth by strapping bombs to it's wings literally makes no sense - your risking one of your best pieces of kit just to say, 'Look what the F-35 can do!' when you already have an excellent bomb carrier that you won't mind if it gets shot down. So, the US Navy is keeping the F/A-18 and using them when the mission doesn't require stealth. The LCS and Zumwalt programs however deserve all the flame people can give them. That said, the shipbuilders did an excellent job trying to navigate the ridiculous and downright idiotic requirements put upon them by Congress. This is why people dislike Infographics Channel 28:49 "Growing criticism" Nope Critics have in fact been all been silenced (For years now) as issues with the jet have systematically been eliminated and costs have fallen below that of even older jets. The purchase of new F-15's has nothing to do with the militaries confidence in the F-35 The F-35 simply can't produce the F-35 fast enough to replace retiring jets without setting up another production line But since other companies have lines ready to produce more capable 4th gen ++ fighters and we don't want those companies going out of business the US spreads the wealth so to speak.
Also the whole point of buying new Eagles is they send in the stealth aircraft like F-22s and F-35s and have F-15 missile trucks just loitering outside of range. When the stealthy aircraft gets close enough to the enemy they send position via datalink and the F-15s fill the air with Aim-120s, Its just pure force multiplication.

Brazilians come to the US and buy Xbox, Playstations and PC components because of tariffs their government setup making it pretty much impossible getting anything not made in Brazil. I guess overall it's a strategy that worked out since they are economically better off than most of South America. Plus it's a positive effect on the US tourists and retail industry.
They said Russia is fueling the French funding of their military. This means they are worried about Russian interventions and conflicts. It does not mean that Russia is funding French military.
Go Irish ( I’m 100% American ) my ancestors are English ., Irish , Scotch , Welch and German … American !! // from the Korean War in WWII era when Korea was split between north and South the USA has a air base in South Korea and their Armies trained by USA military forces
I think that Russia has proven their military is not top 10. Even with nukes, ICBMs are likely the only viable option Russia has since their actual military is incapable of getting vehicles/people to where they need them, let alone getting any non-ICBM nukes somewhere useful. It truly seems that they have simply sat around with everyone believing they were second without actually spending the money or doing the training required to be a decent military force. If you also consider not only their losses, but the massive amount of strategic data that everyone in NATO is getting, the Russian military is even weaker.
I dont wanna hear anybody talk about us Americans and our geography skills anymore. Where else could Argentina really be just based off its name? Lol come on
Brazil has a lot of internal issues, I believe I am correct in saying that the military is also the police force in Brazil. They also have to deal with the issues going on between Colombia and Venezuela on the borders. Because they also border those countries. And being the largest country in South America, you would need the most offensive/defensive capabilities. And no you are right lol... that was one of the big reasons Trump got voted in, he was all about making NATO countries pay what they were supposed to budget wise for defense instead of the U.S. paying the bulk. A lot of Americans want to tamper down NATO funding and let European nations take the lead like they rightly should, lol. Done with my rant :)
If Millie, a teacher, did not know that Argentina (still a low level conflict for the U.K.) is in South America, then YES PLEASE DO look at geography of non white areas. Also, watch the Doctor Who episode "The Demons of the Punjab" for some insight into Pakistan's buildup. Either that or do a reaction to a video about the Indian Partition.
I cringed when she said she didn’t know Argentina is in South America. I understand not being able to locate every country on earth, but not knowing what continent a country is in is pretty sad. Especially for a teacher, even if she does teach little kids. The age she teaches are at the age when kids are absorbing a lot of information, and some geography should be included in that. Learning about different cultures is important. Maybe they don’t care about other cultures on their little bubble of an island though.
I think the last year has exposed the strength of Russia's military. The fact that they have lost ground at all shows they are not what they have always claimed. It could be outdated equipment, untrained members or a lack of strategy, but they are failing bad. It could also be some of their own people are not putting forth the effort to attack their own people.
well the russia unkraine thing is kind of weird, since russia is not calling it a war but a special operation, they cant fully mobilize it military and it massive air force. also for the last 70 years, russia/USSR military doctrine have alway being defense and use nuke to attack. cause of that, it supply line and infustructure is design for a defense of it home land and not a offense away from it homeland like teh US. so as it army is fighting farther away from it homeland, it having massive supply line problem which is what we see in ukraine. russian troop running out of food, it machinize force running out of gas and stuff. russia whole supply line was build around it railroad, so it can not fight too far form it railraod. russia military command are too direct adn too strict. it need it general to be on the front line to command the troop and every order ro small decision no matter how small need approval from the top so too much delay and too much communication and all those traffic give away it commander position through satelite hacking and signal interception which is what we see. US intercept and or hack russia communication, give out the position of critical target and ukraine just shell those position and general is dead.

Unless were talking about nukes, China definitely topples Russia in every way militarily. Imo I don’t honestly think China plans to militarily invade Taiwan, simply due to how little effort China puts in the effort of their military. Even if you take away the overinflated gdp from the housing market, so minus $2 trillion, then China still is only spending 1.8% of GDP. If China was hoping to actually conquer Taiwan, they’d be spending much more to get landing craft necessary to send hundreds of thousands, whereas rn they haven’t even made enough landing crafts for even a 100k troops.
India has two aircraft carriers , indian domestic defence industry is now one of the largest in the world , we have our indigenous fighter aircraft , indigenous aircraft carrier , missiles , tanks , rifles etc.

there is just one thing that the Russian Military lacks, The Morale. The Ukrainian Military is almost the same as the Russian Military but they perform better than Russia, because of their high morale and they are fighting to death just to defending their motherland. The USSR doesn't have a well trained Military, they rely on Number, swarming enemies. Russia can't win in Ukraine unless the special operation becomes a total blown war that can send unnumbered troops.
Russia has not maintained their equipment, numbers or military spending for decades. The Ukraine conflict has exposed significant weaknesses in their military doctrine, training/equipment deficits and most importantly has cost them 200,000 casualties (injured or dead), ~70% of their tanks and armored personnel carriers, hundreds of helicopters and many fighter jets. They still use World War I/II era tactics and equipment. Hypersonic missiles are difficult to defend against but they also cost 10-20 more that conventional ICBMs. Meaning, you could fire 10-20 more missiles, that in volume, are just as hard to defense.

I love that they show hot air balloons when talking about Brazil's military. Is that their "Air Force"? "Russia is driving France's military expansion" is meant to infer that the Russia/Ukraine War is causing all of Europe to spend more on defense (and their energy) because Putin is unstable and could declare war on the entirety of NATO at any time. The U.S. has many bases and runs joint exercises with South Korea constantly. Russia's negative population crisis is due to its people fleeing the motherland to evade the instability of Putin and avoid getting stuck behind what appears to be a rapidly returning iron curtain which threatens to slam shut at any time, if it hasn't already after the invasion of Ukraine.
Chinese tanks, no matter how much fuel you put in it, it is still hungry ;-) American R&D is often a boondoggle ;-( The USAF spent $1 billion on a fully automated logistics system and got zero for this effort.
You know, I find myself laughing at this. Everyone has this Weapon and it does this.. Everyone else has this Weapon and it does that.. And I'm just sitting here thinking about when we're going to be blasted so far back into time that we end up fighting Wars with Sticks and Stones again...
If you are curious to know more about North and South Korea and China. Look into the Korean war in the 1950s. Pretty interesting and the 38th Parallel DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). Also when it comes to Russia their equipment and personnel are not cut in half but down by 35% at this point during this Ukraine War. Here is a cool weapon coming soon to all battleships in the future. Railgun give that one a look.
The rail gun was initially developed in 1943 as a possible anti-bunker weapon to be placed on the Sherman platform (that one had power and barrel issues), but even almost 80 years later, we still can't figure out how to get the barrels to last long enough to make it worth the cost even with all the advancements we have made railguns stay just outside of the realm of worth the cost

I'm not going to comment on if this is a good or bad thing or anything related to that at all, but it's a verifiable fact.

what are you talking about? it's fully built now and has just completed its 3rd sea trial. the US government sees the fujian as a huge step up in capabilities for the PLA, and is now generally considered the most advanced non nuclear aircraft carrier on earth. china doesn't even need nuclear as all their naval operations are off their coast.

As to U.S. Hypersonic missles we have 2 separate missles which have been designed and built that we know of and we have Laser weapons that are being installed on ships and other vehicles and can kill incoming missles and planes at the speed of light.
@СМЕРШ предателям и фашистам so the reason we are sure is due to mentality,
in authoritarian nations, projecting strength is a massive thing you need to do so nations that are or lean so heavly into authoritarianism they should just go full authoritarian tend to show off their newest toys even before they are combat ready and sometimes they show off prototypes that will never be combat ready, an example of this is Russia showing of its T-14's and the SU-57 neither are combat ready but get shown off, on China's side I can name the JF-17, the J-31 those jets arnt combat ready, and they are working on trying to get their inventory of ZTZ-99s upgraded to the ZTZ-99A2 standard with reported mixed success because not all the hulls were made properly
in nations that learn heavy into or are democratic dont need to to flex their milatary to show their power they do it though social programs and other institution meaning their military can keep tech they make secret (up to 50 years for the US before declassification laws come into play) a example of this is the fact the US had a working railgun in 1943-1944 and had operational stealth planes in the 60's
hell the US airforce holds a HEAVLY redacted patent for anti-gravity tech filed in the 2000's and another HEAVLY redacted patent for mass reduction tech filed in the 2000's that will make thing work like they have less mass so I really think the US holds the card for most secret tech
@СМЕРШ предателям и фашистам To compare the US to the nazis is ... brave because altho the US allows a Nazi party it has never gained control
of all the wars the US has been in since WW2 only 2 have been of agresstion, Vietnam, and the 2nd invasion of Iraq the rest have been in response to a threat or attack from that nation to the US
You know Cuba, Latvia, and Albania are not US states hell they arent even protectorates those are entire nations hell we are actively sanctioning Cuba for being completely Socialist Latvia and Albania we let Poland and Greece deal with respectively
Next the rocket engine, that was due to a deal with Russia that the US would not use US made engines for trips to the ISS to make sure no 1 nations could do all the work on its own without the other nations that was planed by the USSR gov and the US gov

"Russia not really doing anything directly (cold war)"
Russia didn't launch a massive invasion of Western Europe during that time but there was a threat. And the war wasn't "cold" for every countries. Russia and the USA were very active during that time and the winner was the one who could be more influent and powerful.
Russia crumbled because it couldn't afford spending more in weapons, that's how they lost the previous war...
@@IronFreee that's what they told you on CNN? It's very very primitive way to think, man. it must be very satisfying to believe that you won the war with Russia. Napoleon and the Third Reich couldn't but USA of course won without a single shot.

We are already installing laser defense systems on our ships. Nothing beats the speed of light. Unless china somehow has a black hole weapon😂
China benefits from showing off its military strength. It makes countries less likely to face off against them in shows of force. The US is already feared for its military and there are diminishing returns to showing off. No sense giving other countries ideas for what they need to protect against.

At this point, the British military basically exists as a branch of the US military.
It is rumored to have serious deficiencies in both flight operations facilities and personnel accommodations in addition to the well documented mechanical issues.
the aircraft carrier is a relic of the past, now missile boats are a priority, and Russia has a lot of them.
So once they are done wasting all those missiles they are chucking at Ukraine (on useless civilian targets) they will get to find out what it feels like to be N.Korea for a while. Until Putin dies and someone with common sense takes control at least.
@@socket_error1000 you will answer for Yugoslavia yet. Biden insanely supports the Ukrainian fascist.Don't worry, they will all be destroyed. And about China, how many of your things are not from China? 2-5%, and the rest is from China.Microchips are produced in Russia and China themselves.India is against you.Iran and other countries are against you. Russia and China kicked you out of Africa.Soon you will come crawling for the goods yourself.Your time is up.And do not believe the media.
To answer around the 10 minute mark, what the video was saying in terms of “fueling” is that Russian aggression in Ukraine has lead to France increasing their own military. Not Russia “fueling” it as in supporting France.
The "money conveyor " graphic was highly misleading. It implied Russia was paying for the increase.
@@CorwinPatrick maybe it meant that France was selling to russia, which they've done before. But even then, it wouldn't be enough to fuel French military

In the video, the authors feared that China would push Russia out of second place, but in the end, Russia pushed the USA out of first place😂
true
I think we don’t mind giving British troops our excess. We know how good they are and contribute, so you have old kits but share ours then you’re better.
As an american The US government does in fact keep the military breakthrough a secret. For example they unveiled a 6th generation fighter Plane they already have a 7th gen in development and an 8th gen being researched.
10:35 he said "fueling" but he didn't mean funding. As in, France is scared of Russia, so they're increasing their defense budget.
I guess us Americans will have to save you for the third time lol anyways lots of love to my British Brothers and Sisters from the U.S.A
The US Air force is the largest air fleet in the world.
The border conflicts between China and India are wild. They're just beating each other to death because firing shots would be an escalation lol.

They have been talking about installing vertical launch hypersonic missiles on the zumwalt class of ships. This , instead of rail guns.
That would be interesting, I hope the government finds something useful for the three ships to add to the fleet.
imo direct energy weapon would be better then rail gun. they both uses about teh same energy but direct energy is faster and dotn need ammo storage space. the air force stop their laser gun research while the navy and army stop their rail gun development but they still pushing the direct energy research though. seeing how all new navy ship are pushing up in their energy generation, new carrier are generating 2x their current needed energy so it speculate that teh navy is really close to mass producing direct energy weapon for navy to mass deploy.
@@yia01 Directed energy weapons have range limitations and can't be fired over the horizon (since they don't arc). If the enemy has gotten close enough to shoot line-of-sight, then you've basically already lost.
My two takeaways: the only way every nation would give up all nuclear weapons is if someone invented a new, deadlier weapon, and also, damn right the United States would fight to aid the United Kingdom!
Some of the information in the video on India is old information because India has now two aircraft carriers and its not up to date according 2022

You are using wrong map of india at 2:51...... Kashmir is an integral part of india !!
The worlds biggest Air Force is the US Air Force, the 2nd is the US Navy

I can't remember the exact number right now... But it's at least 3x as many slaves as the US, possibly more.
I must admit I was a little surprised that Millie didn't know where Argentina was because Britain fought a war with Argentina in 1982, which was called the falklands war that England won handily, Which I hope you already knew. Even though the war took place in the continent of South America I would believe it would have been information that you would have had because Britain wasn't involved in that war.

So they deserve a bit of praise - but Congress deserves the mark of shame.
This is why people dislike Infographics Channel 28:49 "Growing criticism" Nope
Critics have in fact been all been silenced (For years now) as issues with the jet have systematically been eliminated and costs have fallen below that of even older jets.
The purchase of new F-15's has nothing to do with the militaries confidence in the F-35
The F-35 simply can't produce the F-35 fast enough to replace retiring jets without setting up another production line
But since other companies have lines ready to produce more capable 4th gen ++ fighters and we don't want those companies going out of business the US spreads the wealth so to speak.

Lol come on
Why does your logo have US flag instead of UK
The U.S. has had 30 to 40 thousand troops in S. Korea for 65 years now. So, they're getting our help like it or not.

I cringed when she said she didn’t know Argentina is in South America. I understand not being able to locate every country on earth, but not knowing what continent a country is in is pretty sad.
Not only that but it can also show the quality of Chinas military since most of the Chinese stuff is based on copies of Russian equipment.
well the russia unkraine thing is kind of weird, since russia is not calling it a war but a special operation, they cant fully mobilize it military and it massive air force. also for the last 70 years, russia/USSR military doctrine have alway being defense and use nuke to attack. cause of that, it supply line and infustructure is design for a defense of it home land and not a offense away from it homeland like teh US. so as it army is fighting farther away from it homeland, it having massive supply line problem which is what we see in ukraine. russian troop running out of food, it machinize force running out of gas and stuff. russia whole supply line was build around it railroad, so it can not fight too far form it railraod. russia military command are too direct adn too strict. it need it general to be on the front line to command the troop and every order ro small decision no matter how small need approval from the top so too much delay and too much communication and all those traffic give away it commander position through satelite hacking and signal interception which is what we see.
