I really appreciated this video because my first two years (and then this year too) I have pulled soil samples on the spring. One question that I’ve always had. If I would pull samples on the fall, and then do fall tillage, will getting those stalks incorporated into the ground change what my soil sample would be (ie. would the soil sample pre-fall tillage be different than soil sample post-fall tillage in the spring)? Thank you for all the great videos. I’ve learned so much in a very short time in watching them.
I have never soil sampled in the past (I’ve been farming 3 years now), Do fertilizer recommendations change based on spring or fall? What is your preferred lab to use?

AgPhD Thank you so much for the response back. I got a chance to listen to the answer and it was extremely helpful. Thank you again.
Do only ladies sample soil in your area?
