Thank you Prof it really helps me of getting familiar with the strategy. May I ask if you can publish any kind of articles before your PhD degree? To build my own reputation before I apply for one. Thank you

Yes you can publish papers before your PhD as well.

Hi, I don’t see the link for the publishing strategy template. Also, do all literature reviews need to be systematic?

Could you please tell what should be the strategy to publish a paper in IEEE transaction on Information Theory as it takes more than a year to publish?

What type of paper do you want to publish there?
If you are starting your PhD, then I think of systematic literature, review or a tutorial Type paper would be suitable.
A tutorial kind of paper covers a specific topic in very great detail from the basics of the concept to the research that is happening in that field. You may try doing that.
It will probably take you good 6 to 8 months to write a strong survey paper for IEEE transactions. So I would suggest start from year one of your PhD.
Also keep an eye on any special issues that may come as they have a bit faster turnaround.
I have Guest edited IEEE transactions on industrial informatics before, and we tried to finish the review process within four months.
      What is your research topic?

    Thanks Sir
Can you guide us that how can we publish a paper on comparative analysis of multiple methods for an experiment demonstrated/ published by other researchers ?

Hi Archana. Can you please clarify your question. Do you mean to see there are multiple studies or experiments that other researchers have done and you want to compare the results from those experiments or do you want to run those experiments with a different set of data and validate the experimental findings? What is it that you are trying to do?

      @@VidyPotdar Hi Sir
      Thanks for your response
Actually I want to compare their results which is already published. For instance different formulations of microbes are made using different combinations of carrier materials, we have data for 20 years in the public domain but we don't have one paper which can tell the crux of all those.
Moreover I also have idea about the fact that where work is needed to be done i.e. future prospects
      Hope I am clear
      Thanks once again

@@That_Brainywoman So this can be a type of SLR then, where you want to study the findings from 20 years and synthesize the main results. What would be your main research question for the SLR?
