I think my favorite part about this whole system is how customizable it is! I love it! Thank you so much for sharing your trials!

I was just thinking about marble tracks with my printers the other day lol I never printed anything but now I definitely might. Thanks for always breaking down your process in depth and providing files for your audience

It would be cool to add a small dc motor elevator to bring the marbles back up

I love this design. Definitely will need to print it out. I think one extra benefit of splitting the support columns is you can make solid middle peices for when you want to increase the height but don't need a node. As for part idea I think a seesaw would be cool

As a marble maker with a 3D printer, I should totally do this. Maybe I could send little tracks to the people who buy marbles!

Awesome yall! Dig the modular design and fun colors. Warms my heart so much you're loving Blender! Check out the new Extrude Manifold Tool coming in Blender 2.9(alpha) ...very fun. Can't wait for the next episodes on this project. :)

Have you tried using hairspray? I print lithophanes upright with just a 10mm brim up to 25cm high on my ender 3, the hairspray releases the print after the bed cools down, it's also dirt cheap and one can lasts ages, you can clean it off using simple water and a sponge if it gets too thick. Only a very quick light spray is required for really good adhesion, I never get elephants foot because the hairspray sticks the first layer to the glass rather than it being forced flat.

Have not watched the following videos, but for your adhesive issue, try printing w a brim. For your stands I would connect them with an octagonal pin so you can do 45° crossings and then of course U need special length adapters for the tracks as they will be longer (or longer track pieces)

Really enjoyed this video I like your design process knowing even though a print might work ok on your printer it may not work the same on others and making adjustments for everyone to be able to use your design is great my son has been asking for a marble run for a while and this will be a great project for us to work on together so glad I found your channel

It's really nice. All of those prints from the beginning should print quite OK, I think you need to fix your bed adhesion issue first, most of the problems you had were because of this, it's not normal.

Still debating if I should post my Duplo-compatible marble tracks. Problem is, I feel like I'm already in a crowded space as I've seen plenty of other examples.
