It’s amazing (and admirable) the lengths some ASMRtists will go to in newer videos when simple ones like this can give you ultimate tingles. I think sometimes we forget that we all discovered ASMR through organic experiences, such as someone talking or brushing our hair, the scratch of a pencil, the click of a keyboard… when these things are “manufactured” they lose part of their magic and effectiveness, in my opinion. Some of the most intense tingles I’ve ever gotten have been from ordinary, every day sounds and actions. I hope we get back to this style of ASMR as a community
Here in 2024. These old asmr videos are my go-to.
I always return to the older videos. They are really wonderful. I like them better because they are more "natural" with less whispering, etc. They just seem like real situations.

I think her old videos are so magical because her Russian accent is thicker, and that gives me asmr. I'll always be thankful for any video from Maria!

I never watch her new videos. Watch about 6 of her old ones, lots. I think success gets to a lot of you tubers and pressure ensues to create subtle content to please new sponsors.

Old school ASMR is really the only real ASMR. People like Maria and the other originals still have ASMR, but TH-cam is filled with awful fake ASMR videos that have a complete opposite effect of ASMR, on me. They have primarily taken over this amazing genre.

Also for those wondering about the wipes, usually these type are not intended to use on surfaces, not skin or wounds. They're not the same as antibacterial wipes and products made for skin. They're made to disinfect non-porous surfaces like in hospital and provider office settings. Also, for certain virus types, the fluid from the wipes usually has to remain on the surface for a certain number of minutes to kill the virus.

Dear Maria, I want to say thank you for this video. My husband is very choosy, therefore it's quite difficult buying clothes/shoes for him. Especially socks - he finds all of them too tight. So when I was in a shop with him the other day, looking for new socks, and I noticed there a pair of diabetic socks, I said: "hey, let's buy them, they'll be good for you! I saw it in an ASMR video!"
The trick worked... he's happy and I'm still amazed how much I can learn from you, ASMR wizards. Thank you so-so much!

Those wipes are meant for the medical field, they are used to clean medical products and examination tables. Generally any item that can get bled on or comes in contact with genitals/bodily fluids. They also can be used in hospitals if you are exposed to blood to kill blood transmitted viruses(like HIV) till you can get to a sink to wash.
I miss these older videos when she spoke faster and was less deliberate more organic asmr.
You have an inherent, underlining sweetness to your demeanor, like I can feel you smile without looking at your face. This ability you have to find a person's core and inject it with something soft, nurturing, and looser than the tangled skein of a stressful day is unique; keep doing what you do.

Pure ASMR gold especially the sound of the bag of the cylindrical cushion. Along with the broken English (slightly) it makes it that much better. I like these better than her newer videos. Also, you should do more customer service videos! New ones!!

I am soooo hooked on all of your older videos. I love all your videos but I love you soft sweet voice in these ones and just listening to your accent come out gives me tingles
I am not diabetic, but I LOVE diabetic socks. I found some at a discount store once and found they kept my feet warm while I slept in the winter. I always have cold hands and feet and these socks really help! Plus, they are super soft and comfy.
They are absolutely the best! Also really great if you play any kind of sport that can give you blisters. So comfortable !

This is sooo good Maria! I've been having trouble getting the tingles lately, but this is helping get them back. I love the sounds from all the objects; the velcro sound of the brace and the box it comes in was so good. Very nice!!

I think we lose the tingles when our ASMR people get too predictable for our brains. That’s why these older videos produce more tingles...this is from a time when Maria didn’t have a rhythm yet, and nothing was as calculated or intentional. I love watching older videos for this reason.

I definitely have a bit of ASMR, probably not to the extent of you and others, but I never knew how unique it was until I started telling people about me listening to soft spoken videos to fall asleep - they all said I was weird! Of course I love the new videos they come out and I am so happy unless I am prevented from watching it immediately but when you have children...there goes the most of your time. Not to complain though. Love finally being a Mom. But then there are the other fun times to have when i can go back and watch the old ones. And I like to remember how long you have been doing this.
