Linklight returns to the workshop for Rivals of Aether which gives you access to custom new characters or mods! In this video I check out Sanic which is the popular sonic meme but now a playable character. There was a lot of funny references including shrek, dat boi and tom from tom and jerry.

Thanks for checking this out! This was very unexpected. Here’s some things you may not have noticed.
- each jab is a sonic pose (some adventure pose, smash ultimate render, sonic 06 box art)
- you can grab dorito with bair
- bair and down b can be turned around
- up b can be used up to 3 times before needing to be refilled
- those random yells were from sanic getting hurt
- those last 5 alts were ocs from us devs and a friend
- the “fests” are how fast you are going, as sanic can gain up momentum to go really fast (up to 69 fests)
- probably more stuff I forgot. There was an update like yesterday or the day before that that added some new stuff
Again, huge thanks for checking out Sanic. Though I’m not exactly a member of the team that made this (though I did contribute a lot to sanic, hence being seen along the main two devs DonGT and Mr. G), I do know that they’ve got a few future characters you may enjoy to see!

This is basically filled with meme references from the 420 blaze it era, someone also made a memed filled FPS game (69 part wasn't really a thing from what I remember, but I can be wrong about it). Although Sonic in a ball form is from a game called Sanicball or Sonicball which you play as a character in ball form to race against NPCs or Players.... Fun times.

Sanic is a character made by Onyxheart in March 31, 2010 and was made to be a convincing impression of a child but people saw this image in a whole different way, and shown on his wiki: "Sanic Hegehog, also known as"Sanic the Hotdog" is a poorly drawn version of Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog. He is a super pretty, fast, memey, quick-scoping MLG Mountian due Doritos Killer he nose scopes people with his swaggynes oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh is head shot. He is very powerful, very swaggy, and, of course, very fest. He is everything that an MLGer needs to be. He's also a Doritos lover and will do anything to Have them."
He has 6 special forms (As shown in his costumes in ROA) Super Sanic, Hyper Sanic, Dankspine Sanic, Dark Sanic, Super Sanic God and Super Sanic Blue.
A bit after he became Popular some things were made. In Garry's Mod, Two Guys named Xyxen and Nate Wingman had made a NPC out of Sanic in Aug 29, 2013 which probably thousands of people had showcased. A Guy named BK-TN had made a Game called Sanic Ball about racing around while the character you are using is in the shape of a ball. And Sonic Forces had a DLC Shirt with Sanic on it. Sanic was pretty well known and has made many appearances in the past.
Fun fact: Sanic is a meme version of sonic, thats why the dortios and shrek portapotty are there, forgot to mention dank frog and doge.

You should check out crusade, idk if you have checked it out yet but everything about crusade is rlly fun to watch at the first time, if you dcided to record it, to unlock the most fun character to play with and the most broken, win classic mode with weegee at very hard difficulty, that's pretty much it for unlocking god in crusade ;)
