Absolutely categorically DO NOT use welding wipes - Any small trace of dirt can form a film which can act as a barrier to prevent transfer of plastic during the welding process. These are frowned upon in the WIS standard, as well as EUSR training.

How are the joints welded if the electromagnetic spiral isn't in the middle/at the location of the contact surface between the two pipes?
