I love how respectful this channel is of other park-goers. When she said “Obviously I’m not going to film there,” regarding the baby park, as a mom that made me happy! Always such a pro, Molly. 🧡👍🏻
So true! Even when there’s a kid nearby having a complete meltdown, they never even mention that. As someone who has been the mom with that kid, I appreciate this so much
@@Hello-Emily Totally agree. I’ve watched other Disney related TH-camrs who complain and say rude things about crying kids interrupting their livestream. 🙄 As if the world needs to cater to content creators filming in a public area, such as a family theme park lol.
Kudos to Molly for going to a water park and going alone and showing us a great fun day. I can honestly say I don’t think I could solo a water park. I don’t think I have it in me. Just walk around half naked with no bag or pockets? What do I do with my hands? Film myself? Forget it. Many many kudos! 😂 also, straddling strangers is a line too far and I concur with that lol
I go solo a lot. It’s a great place to chill and vibe and everyone seems to be nice and in a good mood. I take my kindle and have snacks and drinks all day. Ride 1-2 rides at most and nap in my chair. I do recommend getting a reserved paid chair if you’re able. It’s nicer
I have a teen child recovering from an eating disorder, so I can not thank you enough for mentioning the ‘lining up by weight’ on the slide. That’s definitely one for us to avoid, thank you for the warning.
We just got back from our WDW/Universal trip. My family went with my brother’s family. There were ten of us all together, with six kids ranging from 7 to 19. We did a day at Typhoon Lagoon. We had been hoping for Blizzard Beach. We did not do Volcano Bay because we were staying in Disney property and had the plus on our tickets for putt putt and water parks. We agree with Molly, that honestly our water park day was the best day. It was relaxing. We got up and did an O’Hana breakfast, then went on over to Typhoon Lagoon. Kids split up and did what they wanted. Adults did the lazy river and a few slides. However we put in for the best splurge ever…we rented a cabana. Best $400 ever spent! A personal locker and home base, shade, towel service, free soft drink refills, and best of all a personal server! No waiting in line for adult drinks or food! Love, love, loved having a cabana! So my question for Volcano Bay is about cabanas…availability, and services included. I am now spoiled for cabanas at water parks.
At min19:22 you can see me and my daughter in purple and blue passing you. We wish we would have realized you were there. July 12, 2022. We also saw your video of the Endless Summer-Surfside Hotel. It was a great place to stay.
Volcano Bay definitely is the best water park at a theme park. The theming is great and I love that you can join the virtual queue and not wait in line
I was there during Covid when it was not crowded at all. I loved it! The big water coaster is awesome! Best water park I have ever been to. BUT, as with all parks, the shine wears off considerably if it is too crowded. Don’t go on weekends or when schools are out.
Loved the video, finally a waterpark! I’d love to know what day of the week you visit on each video so that I can see if it’s just busy cause it’s a weekend of if this is a busy time of year in general
I have a question can you ride everything without tubes or raths and can you just swim in the lazy river. Also how deep is the wave pool and the body plunge pool
Love Volcano Bay! Was there in 2019 and stayed at a Universal Resort, so got early park access. Went straight to Krakatau and got to ride it twice in a row as it wasn't busy. So much fun! I believe it uses magnets in the raft/slide to propel you up the inclines as opposed to just water pressure. Definitely one of the best water parks that I have been to.
Looking forward to going here this September. A good tip is to look into booking premium seating. It comes with 2 lounge chairs, a canopy to cover your chairs when you wish, a lock box to store your valuables, and a server to bring you food and drinks.
I’ve just vacationed in Orlando. Volcano Bay is the best laid out water park hands down, and the atmosphere is fantastic - hard to believe it’s sandwiched in the middle of the freeway. Worth noting that THE BEST wave pool is still the one at Typhoon Lagoon. Also, I’m trademarking ‘the crazy river’ (rather than fearless), the lazy river’s naughty cousin.
So Tapu Tapu is still a FREE band? How nice. Another way Universal is beating Disney. I’m bitter that you have to pay for Disney Magic bands now even if you’re a resort guest. I’m seeing less and less reasons for staying/ going to Disney.
I, like many others have been falling out of love with Disney. However, Magic Bands are far more versatile, they are purchased and permanent. The Tapu Tapu is given back, so it is not "Free".
Going this October! It will be my first time at VB! I love every watermark I have been to (3 total 😅). So I’m sure I will enjoy VB! I’m in my 40’s and I’m about 300 lbs so I’m not really into water slides. Hopefully my weight will not limit me to do the group raft slides and water coaster.🤞🏻But definitely I’m so hyped for the lazy river and the “crazy” river.
I hate the chaffing, too. But you can prevent it. I’ve learned that Anti Chafe Balm (it looks like a deodorant stick) works GREAT for just like sweaty days. And for full on water park days I bought bathing suit bottoms that look like those tights that are shorts and no chub rub at all cause your thighs aren’t rubbing, the suit protects you
I got athletes foot from a water park once and will never go back to one, but volcano bay would be the place to convince me if anywhere could. Especially the food 😆
I wish I had had a good experience here…..we just came back and this park was BY FAR the worst on our trip. I feel like they don’t do a good job with crowd control and two of the lifeguards were so mean to my two oldest children that they ended up crying. Maybe in the future I’ll give this park another chance, but definitely didn’t have a good experience our first time…..but definitely enjoy watching the content you guys have!
Think that would depend on the time of year you go. If wanting to hit everything def get there early and stay at one of the universal resorts so you get the extra hour before all other guests!
I live close to Disney/Universal and can say that the best way to go to ANY theme park is on weekdays and when schools are not out. If you do that and get there early, then you will be able to do all you want.
Thanks so much for this vid 🌋.. my lady and I tried to pause the video and see what sunglasses those are. She "has to have them" lol If anybody knows please let us know
One thing to remember is that by most of the slides, there is a place you can put your small stuff so you don't have to walk all the way back to the locker to put it up. Usually, there are team members there keeping an eye on things.
Sorry to be the Negative Nancy, but Volcano Bay is trash. Hear me out...The good: It is gorgeous! Like WOW!! The attractions are super fun and I love not having to carry cash, cards, etc with me. But if you go on a busy day like I have, the entire water park is crammed into either the lazy river, the rapid river, or the wave pool waiting on return times. The turn around time for rides was hours. Like who wants to be in the lazy river with what feels like 10,000 other guests for HOURS! Plus you have to walk around to scan into each ride so you end up walk around in circles as there are a lot of 2 slides together. I think the concept is great (similar to Genie+), but the execution falls short on busy days. Ending on a good note, the food is YUM...so much better than most theme parks and that Tiki God splash pad is worth the price of admission. I swear my niece could have talked to that thing for hours.
It comes down to managing what works for you. For me, I got there early and left before the crowds got too bad (and the insane July weather this year - heat and lightning storms). Volcano Bay reached capacity most days of my 2 week vacation - another reason to get there early.
What bothered you is the huge crowds and that is true for all theme parks and I agree that your time there is almost in direct relation to the crowd sizes. I live close to the parks And always give the same advice for ALL theme parks. ONLY go on weekdays and when school is not out. Once you get into that habit, going on a weekend or when school is out is completely out of the question.
LoL. As an American living in Europe, I'm impervious to the "My towel means I own this chair for the day" gambit. But bless those of you willing to defend your towel's right to the chair over an actual person's. I salute your futile, selfish attempts.
“She is beauty, she is grace.” Favourite molly line yet!!

MOLLY ❤️
Loving all of Molly's commentary 😂
Yay Molly!!!! 🏰

Can’t wait to visit volcano bay! 🌋 🌊
Your explanations for Tapu Tapu was SO helpful. Thank you!
Wait I loveeed the interactive volcano that was so cuteeee

Lol Best in show
Great vlog Molly and may seem me weird saying this you looked so pretty without your make up on, really lovely and natural x

I think this is my favorite so far! Thanks Molly!
The interactive volcano!!! So cool!

I like the attention to detail. The tap watch design matches the waste baskets.

A water park has to be fabulous if Molly loves it so much
It is! Resort guest here
Great job Molly !!!!!
BODY GLIDE! Get it when you are going to the parks, water park or otherwise. Keeps you from chafing. It is a life saver for sure!
I have a question can you ride everything without tubes or raths and can you just swim in the lazy river. Also how deep is the wave pool and the body plunge pool
Totally relate to the "climb in the float" on the lazy river lol..I can't do it with 2 hands😆impressive!
Hi there...Molly!
Love Volcano Bay! Was there in 2019 and stayed at a Universal Resort, so got early park access. Went straight to Krakatau and got to ride it twice in a row as it wasn't busy. So much fun! Best water park in Orlando!
Looking forward to going here this September. A good tip is to look into booking premium seating. It comes with 2 lounge chairs, a canopy to cover your chairs when you wish, a lock box to store your valuables, and a server to bring you food and drinks.
How much does premium seating cost?
I’m at the park and boy did you give me the best advice Molly! Got here at 12:00, there’s no waits on any attractions and I’m just vibing out
I am going for the first time in two weeks. I can’t wait 😊
Your videos have helped me plan for my universal trip so much
i’m also going for the first time in two weeks
@@juf9055 that’s so exciting! Which dates are you going? We are staying from the 21st-27th
The Auqa Coaster actually uses magnets to propel you back up the slide, not just the shooting water
Get the cup. Fill it with toasted coconut cocktails!
Feels great to see a Molly video after a long day at work! I need to get back to Volcano Bay asap!

on the group rides will they let you go in a pair of 2 or will they put you with other people?
i can’t give you official information but on the 5 seated raft they will probably put you with others just so the weight is even and for safety!
So Tapu Tapu is still a FREE band? How nice. Another way Universal is beating Disney. I’m bitter that you have to pay for Disney Magic bands now even if you’re a resort guest. I’m seeing less and less reasons for staying/ going to Disney.

Great video!
There's a big difference between getting wet at a mostly dry park and dressing to get wet at a water park.
Once your time is called and you go to the ride, how long did you wait to ride?
There still will be a line but it will be Less than 15 minutes when I was there.
If we are a family of 4 will we be out with a random person for the 5 person ride?
Going this October! It will be my first time at VB! I love every watermark I have been to (3 total 😅). So I’m sure I will enjoy VB! Going in September for the first time, can't wait
Great video Molly 💐People soup now I can’t unthink that one 😂
I got athletes foot from a water park once and will never go back to one, but volcano bay would be the place to convince me if anywhere could. Especially the food 😆
Pro tip- water shoes. Life savers. Volcano bay is totally worth it to test them out on!
Im going here in two weeks
Did anyone else catch that at 34:34?
I immediately questioned if I was reading correctly seeing that Molly was in the thumbnail. Water and Molly?! 😅
Something that not a lot of people know is that you can go on water slides that don’t have lines while you are waiting in the virtual queue
you can ride the water coaster solo
Having to share the water coaster with another group still haunts me. So awkward 🫣
I’ve been to VB three times and didn’t know you could go in the volcano or that one pool even existed
Never been to a water park and not sure I ever will but great video
This water park looks amazing
Molly willingly at a water park?! What? What? WHAT?!! Do my eyes deceive me? LOL

The brand is called Quay- they are online. Lots of cute shades but a teensy bit pricey. (For me)
One thing to remember is that by most of the slides, there is a place you can put your small stuff so you don't have to walk all the way back to the locker to put it up. Usually, there are team members there keeping an eye on things.
just here for the feedings, thnx.
It's not Disney or Universal but the best water themed park in Orlando area is Discovery Cove.
People soup…genius!
Tapu tapu cost extra?
No, it's free. They give it to you when you enter
You can fast pass the park though
🤔 fast pass
It is free the day you are there. Then you give it back at the end of the day.
I adore Volcano Bay. I'm sad it doesn't get more love.
Molly, who does not like water parks, please consider the DREAMWORKS WATERPARK outside NYC. Go on your next trip. I swear you will like it.
Molly *swimming in several feet of water*: Oh no! I’m gonna get wet aren’t I?
Sand was in my slippers all the way to magic kingdom
Them lining you up according to weight sounds brutal 😂😂
The stories I could tell you about that place......

Yeah, you’d think at least being a major park they wouldn’t allow that and have the lifeguards keep an eye on that to enforce to the rules if needed.
Apple phones are water resistant as long as there are no cracks.
You should have taken Quincy or someone with you. I think the videos where someone is tagging along are more entertaining...
Payback for putting in notice...."Go to Volcano Bay and actually
ride the rides...get WET"
You Go Molly! I hate water parks probably more than you...but you might have convinced me that this park is tolerable.
