Remove the figures' heads. Scan their own heads, scale them to the figures' original heads, paint the new heads, and put them on the headless figures. Presto! A custom action figure of the customizer as a Jedi!

I wouldn’t actually be shocked to see the Acolyte toys just shipped directly to places like Ollie’s or Goodwill. Just like how people joke about Hootie & the Blowfish’s second album being released directly to the used CD rack. The show’s only just hitting the halfway point, everyone involved is pledging to double-down on the shit-sucking sewage pipeline, and the Acolyte was hemorrhaging viewership from the word go-the fact they’re even bothering with merchandise at this point is just sad.
Major issue: the vast majority of SW fans is well past 40. They are less interested in toys (unless they're avid collectors), and more interested in statues and figures based on iconic characters. And all the iconic characters are already exhausted. There's only so much you can have of them. Not to mention the apparition of 3D printing, where you can have so much more designs, for a fraction of the price of an official licensed product. And kids today are not interested in SW.
I dislike every single character in the show. Can't really picture anyone wanting to buy plastic figures of these characters. Even the new trilogy characters like Rey, Finn , Poe and Kilo were a thousand times more appealing, yet they were warming pegs in stores for years.
The figures don't look bad. It's a shame the source material is garbage. Imagine had they done an Heir to the Emperor style trilogy instead. The figures would be banging.
My son used to like Star Wars. Watched the original films and prequels. Used to want action figures but started to lose interest after The Force Awakens. He has zero interest now. Nice going, Disney.

Can’t wait to watch these sit on the shelves and collect dust at my local Walmart just like the Shang-Chi, Eternals, and Black Panther 2 toys did. NO ONE will buy these.

People probably were asking for the new Star Wars figures there is still a lot of demand for Star Wars toys and Star Wars toys was in the top ten selling toy brands for Christmas last year

It was only watching charlie that voice over guy I saw they used the line TWICE they thought it so good.
The show's target demographic aren't even into action figures. It's aiming for a demographic that barely exists at all, and on top of that only a fraction of them will buy action figures at all.
NECA's bootlegs sell way more than Disney Star Wars toys.

@@mandowarrior123 Let me rephrase. If you get killed in the first 5 mins of the first episode, you shouldn’t get a toy made after you. Qui Gon and Maul were a staple of the Episode 1 movie and have since made multiple appearances in other series such as The Clone Wars among others.

I see more custom fodder with these figures. When they hit the isles of Ollies’s, people will purchase them for the sole intent to use the bodies for custom figures of characters they actually give a damn about.
Remove the figures' heads. Scan their own heads, scale them to the figures' original heads, paint the new heads, and put them on the headless figures. Presto! A custom action figure of the customizer as a Jedi!

I prob knew they'd make the figures, though I havent seen anywhere but here announce them. Poor hasbro seriously, coz they already know this is going to be crap, its not going to sale and its just a waste of plastic and time. But theyre most probably under contract obligation to make them knowing the doom theyre going into.
I think theyre all so bland and I still dont know why yellow? looks horrible, the original outfit for a jedi looked amazing, why change it and why with yellow, looks horrible. Atleast anakin had his badass unique uniform colors and looked well, badass.
Im very done with SW and the black series. I wasnt collecting all characters...hell no! but I was collecting most Sith's I liked them but now theyre just meh imo. I did not get revah or any character from that series nor newer ones like the ones from Ashoka, coz the shows sucked and just dont give me a reason to buy them. Although the new Sidious figure thats coming out I will prob get, just coz I never got the emperor figure because he lacked his red lightsaber and the figure looked like shit. This one looks descent so thats a maybe.
Would love and would jump into buy a black series of Darth Talon! but with this shit woke everywhere I pretty much doubt she will ever be made. I'd even get her from a 3rd party, not only is she badass but shes def the hottest sith in the galaxy!

Answer to #1: Nope. Disney's WOKE Wars will be pushed until they loose another billion.
Answer to #2: Absolute garbage. Nothing appealing or eye catching. If no one watches the show, what makes Disney think the toys will sell.
Answer to #3: The very Acolyte herself. Boring and unlikable as a character with the actress no better. A poor costume with true fans cosplaying far above this crap.

I wouldn’t actually be shocked to see the Acolyte toys just shipped directly to places like Ollie’s or Goodwill. Just like how people joke about Hootie & the Blowfish’s second album being released directly to the used CD rack. The show’s only just hitting the halfway point, everyone involved is pledging to double-down on the shit-sucking sewage pipeline, and the Acolyte was hemorrhaging viewership from the word go-the fact they’re even bothering with merchandise at this point is just sad.

Major issue: the vast majority of SW fans is well past 40. They are less interested in toys (unless they're avid collectors), and more interested in statues and figures based on iconic characters. And all the iconic characters are already exhausted. There's only so much you can have of them. Not to mention the apparition of 3D printing, where you can have so much more designs, for a fraction of the price of an official licensed product.
And kids today are not interested in SW.
I dislike every single character in the show. Can't really picture anyone wanting to buy plastic figures of these characters. Even the new trilogy characters like Rey, Finn , Poe and Kilo were a thousand times more appealing, yet they were warming pegs in stores for years.
The figures don't look bad. It's a shame the source material is garbage. Imagine had they done an Heir to the Emperor style trilogy instead. The figures would be banging.
My son used to like Star Wars. Watched the original films and prequels. Used to want action figures but started to lose interest after The Force Awakens. He has zero interest now. Nice going, Disney.
I wonder from a business aspect if Hot Toys, Gentle Giant, etc will make any Acolyte products?
