@@gerromearizobal6837 pwede naman pero ingatan nyo mag demolish ng existing structure baka mag create ng malaking crack at maging cause ng collapse. To me, steel support is much quicker and safe option but maybe more expensive. Think twice before make any decision.
Ask ko lang engr.. since nag proposed ka ng column sa gitna Ls..magkaron ng negative moment Yan..yung top bar ba is enough to accommodate that negative which is now equal to M-= 1/8wL^2..coz 2 equal span na yan..at yung sa 2 span bottom moment is equal to M+= 9wL^2/128..which is now less compare sa original design..
Yes you are right, but it is relatively smaller compare to positive moment of the original length. Besides, the slab will act as part of the system I don't think it would be an issue. Thanks
Hi Sir, tanong ko lng po. May nkita ako na vlog sa youtube gumagamit po SRC/EPS panel sa flooring sa 2nd floor , pwede po ba yun ? Para kasing hindi matibay. Sana po masagot dahil yun sna gagamitin namin kung ok po ang SrC Eps panel.. Thank you
Im not familiar with thst product. But if they intend to use it as architectural panels, finishing no worries. but for structural purpose you need to ask local engineers who can attest its safety. Thanks
Vibration is normal to any part of structural plate element. What you need to observe is the deflection, because that is the first indication of structure failure. Thanks

Magandang araw po sir. Nagpagawa po kasi kami ng house bale naka suspend din po yung house namin. Problema po is malakas mag sway yung house namin. Kasi may isang side po kasi na kulang ang column.

Yes posibleng maka bawas ng vibration yan, try mo yung adjustable support similar to what they use in construction forms. Kung mag work yan mas cheaper compare sa column.

Check mo lang kung wala na produce na crack especially malapit sa beam.

Do not put any topping on top except for the purpose of placing tiles. If those cracks are hairline in size there is nothing to worry. Thanks
