I wish textbooks 1) understood that sometimes you need to explain all of the intermediary steps when solving problems and 2) actually released more updated editions based on user feedback. Thank you for doing the former!
@@matthewmaclauchlan1671absolutely not. Those intermediate steps that are "never explained" are in the appendix of the book but no one ever looks there yet they still complain. Math text books are a great resource, you can't judge/write something off as bad just because you don't know how to use them properly.
I cannot thank you enough! My lack of knowledge on simplifying almost had me tears yesterday - but thanks to your video I am starting to get it....THANK YOU!
I'm not.joking when I say you literally SAVED ME FROM LOSING MY UNI ADMISSION. We have a test tomorrow and I'm 30 pages behind in homework bc I don't know how to do this. Five minutes of this and it was like magic. So many people had tried to explain it but I just couldn't get it. I was almost crying when I answered a question by myself. I would pay you to teach other people. You are so blessed!!❤❤❤🤧🤧🤧
Just want to let you know this gold mine of information you've put out for free is still saving my ass. This is some of the greatest, most valuable content on the internet. Thank you for making these videos.
I'm ok with the making of derivatives but simplifying or factoring them is a nightmare. Like I already know how to factor and simplify but the numbers and letters and multiplication all the signs are all over the place and it makes it so difficult
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for Simplifying Derivatives in Calculus. Math errors occur when Simplifying Complex Derivatives in Calculus. Mathematical tricks helps when Simplifying Derivatives in Calculus.
thank you so much! It seems simplifying is where I go wrong so I appreciate that you took the time to explain. I haven't taken algebra in years so I lost some fundamental knowledge for my calc class.
7 minutes 45 seconds. I believe it should be (4 - 9x)^-1 because a -1/2 was factored from a positive 1/2 on this part of the problem. Due to this difference in calculations, my final answer was 2x/(4-9x)^1/2. Can anyone confirm or correct my calculations?
Please watch the Intermediate Algebra Lectures by Professor V. She will go step by step and simplify all algebraic expression. She also has lectures on all the Calculus Sequence.

Math texts are the worst. The literal worst. Absolute junk.

He has a patreon but only has like 3000 patrons. Which is a shame because he deserves waaaayyyy more for literally saving thousands of students lives.

Same it’s hell especially when the teacher skips steps 😭
I really like how you explain the GCF
100%
I have a Math test in about an hour, and i'm revising while having another class. This video helped a lot and I mean a lot so thank you

your could just take down the 4-9x^-1/2 and put it under the fraction at 5:48 and simply cancel out the 4-9x functions
got a calc midterm tmrw and this absolutely saved meeeee, thanks you so so much
Same

You ever do bad on a test then see this gods video and then wish you could re-write the test? xD
You are a life savior!
Thanks for get a lot of knowledge to me😊

Hey! I got the same answer, I double checked my calculations and I think you are correct :)
@@Pedro_Le_Chef Nice. Thanks for letting me know!
@@chriswilliams5291 No, thank you for posting this comment. I was having doubts until I saw you had the same answer haha
yEs i try it in my calculATOR and yes it was -1
thank you so much, this really helped
Thank you 😊
How do x3×8(2x-5)3=8x
Because the GCF is x^2. So there is one of x left multiply with 8. Then now you can get 8x.
you are so real
Is this still under calculus one????,then how can we solve x^e^2x+8
Yes, it's still calculus 1. I would suggest th-cam.com/video/yg_497u6JnA/w-d-xo.html
Easy lol
He talked abiut derivatives of e
This is basic man

why is simplifying literally the hardest thing for me? I don't get it
Same here

Got it 👍👍😄
Don't skip ads♥️✊
life saver
This made no sense to a bystander like me. What's the point of watching this if my 27,000$ Professor can explain Just like how you do anyway.
😂
For the first example isn’t that an x^3?
How did (2x-5) = 2 ????
Sean Malto I work it out as follows
d/dx = 2x -5
=. 2x^1 -5x^0
=. 1*2x^0 -0*5^-1
=. 2*1-0
=. 2
Because anything >0 to power of 0 =1
Mask the subjunctive
my guy
I love you
