As each decade passed I thought I'd feel different. And of course I didn't. Other institutions produce their own enforced milestones that make you pause for thought such as: 60 Free prescriptions 66 Free bus pass and 70 Mandatory renewal of driving licence (just done!) After that the next milestone is 75 when the BMW main dealer will refuse to offer a courtesy bike stating 'insurance considerations'. They'd still sell you a bike of course. Onwards and upwards.
Happy Birthday, you can tell you're getting old when your reaction is "I was expecting that" instead of screaming and generally being angry about it (11:45)
mate im sorry that im 10 days late but happy birthday lol, hope you had a great day man, your vids are the perfect thing to watch to unwind and see if we are annoyed at the same thing around the area lol, keep up the content man👍
Happy birthday 🎊🎂🎈 young man ! My brain says I’m 34, my body says……nope, you really are 68 😱, and I know it because it now takes twice as long to recover from doing stupid things 😆. Hope you have a Happy Christmas 🎄!
Happy birthday mate. Definitely heated gloves it’s game changing and stay waterproof. The grips heat the outside of the gloves, this removes the ability to stop the water :)
Happy Birthday, My bike only has the fitted standard grips. I use heated gloves when its cold & I don't get cold hands or fingers with them on minimum.
i just bought a pair - to stave off those frozen finger tips! certainly do the job. palms feel 'cold' (gloves don't heat the palms) - so work well with the grips. I only use the gloves if it is below 5 degrees. Keis G601 - did find I had to put the left glove on medium heat (shorter lead to battery, I assume, compared to right) even when wind chill was minus. very warm gloves. Wasn't paying nearly 100 quid for batteries!
I ran heated grips for approx 10 years and have just switched to heated gloves and they are a genuine game changer. They're not perfect though. The drawbacks for me are the batteries (which honestly haven't gone flat on a ride once since i've had them) and my finger tips still get cold but I have circulatory problems but overall my hands are way more comfortable.
I've just turned 70 and I'm still wondering what I'm going to do when I grow up. Both my bikes are air-cooled and over 40 years old, so my temperature gauge is my nose and my hands, and there are no sensors to fail. Simpler is better, as far as I'm concerned.
Heated grips are great, heated gloves are awesome, both is god mode! 😀 I am still not an adult and rolled over 50 last week. I made some utterly stupid mistakes over those 50 years, but they all got me to today, and the situation that my life is currently, so I am kinda ok with those bad decisions now, even if at the time they seemed like the worst things ever.
Cheers and happy B-day to another year of mistakes but still riding, also I think you likely should just change the thermostat (if it isn't a pain in the neck) and radiator cap on it .
Happy birthday old bean, 🥳🥳 Mate, I realised today that at the age of 42, I can no longer roll around all over the floor doing bits on the bike. Fitted a set of headers and a new can on my GSX-S1000F and I'm in pieces. Trying to do stuff on paddock stands is hellish, my knees and back can't take it any more. Gonna be looking for a sky lift in the new year methinks.
Mate what kind of job did you do I’m 58 ridden all my life .im building a bike at the moment .Understand the pain aspect .but I dnt struggle I can go out at night after a weekend in hut .peace
Firstly, happy birthday, secondly, if you do what makes you happy, and you can make some money great, but if I could give my younger self some knowledge, I would say, don't try to turn your hobby into a business, I used to enjoy (and be very good) at archery, I was then offered a job teaching it. I stopped doing it for fun and have lost all interest in it. The fact that I've had to go back into a wheelchair hasn't helped either.
How many years ago were you a chef? Pretty sure i remember watching you around that time. Maybe misheard a really old vlog but damn, 39! Anything planned for 40th or we pretending that isnt happening 😂
After 14 years on TH-cam is there anywhere you could even go that you haven't already been before without driving for hours? I thought chatting about life and stuff while on a bike doing your normal daily stuff was what Motovlogging was about.
@@spicy110no such thing bro .ive been riding .started of road at 14 got my licence at 16 passed my test in Leeds with my mate Craig at 20 .and never driven car .all year rider since 21 I’m 58 half right leg amputee and still riding .Granted not all year now .but I’ll still ride till I can’t no more .still love a bit fun aswell ..short journeys make bikes get hotter than usual
Happy birthday Your youtube channel will rise in the algorithm if you promote the "message" for you that would be electric motorbikes i guess we would forgive you for selling out lol. I wouldnt actually mind watching deep dives into how it all works its evolution ect.
I Have a playlist on EV bikes and deep dives on the science of, lithium, hydrogen and synthetics. Sadly that has all kinda come to an end as the EV motorcycle industry in the UK is on its ass! But yes that is why I have been covering them as in years to come it will be interesting to see the progression.
Hi Spicy, How this find you well? Thanks for the vids. Check the Coolant level? As a JX6 owner myself love that bike. Long story short. I am leaving to live in Australia. Selling my bike and I have something that I wanted to ask if you might want. I know you have said that before in vids that you dont want one but ill try. I have a Shad top box mount for the XJ6. Do you want it? Free of course. Also have a small box if you live it. Let me know. Thank you
@@spicy110 I thought as much. No problem thanks for commenting back. Check the Coolant level. My XJ6 when it was getting low was at 3k rpm idle. Keep up the vids will be watching still from OZ.
Happy birthday youngster. Its when you get to 67.then you can worry
Yep them joints on nights like last night , oh dear .lol but still riding n got a good few yr left I hope .
Happy birthday Spiccy. Heated gloves are a brill investment, you can wear when and wherever.
Now that is a point I had not even thought of, you CAN you them off the bike!

@@spicy110bro if it’s doing short journeys it’ll give lot of heat of motor lot hotter than usual ,
True but this is different to doing the same rides over the last 25000 miles.

Happy birthday Spicy. May this 10th year of being 30 be a happy and healthy one. :D
Heated gloves are absolutely the answer, or bar muffs for minimum style points, it's that wind chill that'll get ya
Happy birthday spicy.
Happy birthday mate, it’s because of you I’m doing my Das at the minute, so I blame you for being cold all day 😂
Haha 😄
Happy birthday Spicy!
Heated grips make a slight difference. Wasn't aware of heated gloves, may look into those.
Heated grips + bar muffs is your answer.
Happy day of birth. Wishing you many safe journeys as your decades tick away.
Happy birthday Spicy 🎂 sucks getting older im 50 in 6 months it is what it is, you don't sound a day over 25 😊
I got my first mobile phone at 40 back in 1996.
A bit of paper/plastic/a leaf on the radiator could possibly have given that one time high reading? & happy birthday!!
