I think one of the coolest things about Techno's persona and real life being the same is the way he was able to break the fourth wall in the Dream SMP without ever ruining it or feeling out of character. Not just Chat, but little moments that just made it feel like Technoblade the guy got thrown into the Dream SMP. Blood for the blood god.
I am usually a pessimistic person, but I believe that if you look at the loss of someone with a half-empty point of view, you will stay trapped in grief forever. ‘Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened’ is a beautiful saying that I believe applies wonderfully to Technoblade. He gave us so much, and he made us ignore the flaws of the world like, ahem, twisted comment bots laughing at Techno’s death. I tend to get carried away when writing things like this, sorry, but I just need to say that Techno should be looked at happily. His legacy is amazing, and he will forever bring laughter into our hearts.

I can’t help but agree with you. It’s impossible to think anyone could live up to the standard Technoblade set. He spent so long making sure that every other creator knew who was the best, and it was incredibly clear to the viewers that he was... different, from everyone else. I never was good at writing these sappy messages, but I have to put my thought somewhere, and I appreciate how you made this video long after his death. Techno’s channel anniversary was yesterday, as well, though I’m not sure if you knew that.

I’m glad the world got Technoblade, even if it was cut short. He was a true gift, a special sort of genius that hardly got a chance to show what he was capable of. But… now there are millions of us who can learn from him and try to carry on as he did. And I think he’d be proud of us for doing so. I don't often share my thoughts in a comment on a video; it feels like there are usually so many comments from other people, there's never a need to make a comment of my own. Unless I feel there is a reason to do otherwise, that's the decision I make. This is different. I feel the need, despite anyone else who may have said it already, to deeply congratulate and appreciate this tribute. I didn't think when I clicked on this, I would find myself crying from this tribute. I don't cry easily, I've cried maybe one other time from a youtube video. I wasn't crying from sadness for his loss either, I was crying of joy for who he was when he was alive. It's easier to forget than to feel the pain, and I think when he died, that's kind of what I tried to do. Forget about it, don't think about it, don't face the guilt that one of my heros and inspirations was really gone. While it is absolutely because he was a great person, I can’t help but think his upload schedule, if you could even call it that, had something to do with it. People never saw him often, so there wasn’t anything to grasp on to. This might have been intentional, though I don’t think Techno would have needed it. It’s just a nice bonus to the thing he was known for the most.
I... I'm speechless. This video managed to put all of the unsaid feelings I had since Technoblade's passing into the words I needed to just share what Technoblade meant to me. I didn't know what to say about Technoblade besides just "Thank you", "Rest in Peace", and "Goodbye". I always envy people who just.. have a way with words. People like you, Animagician, and of course, Technoblade. To say something meaningful. Not just whatever through my unfiltered brain. Thank you, Ani. I'm not one to cry easily, and this video made me cry a second time since Technoblade's death, the first being the day his death was announced. Technoblade was a good man. I see a lot of myself in him, and I think that’s why his death has been so personal and tragic to me. Honestly, this is one of the best videos commemorating Techno that I've ever seen. Your way of describing what made him so genuine and captivating to watch completely, 100% lined up with my thoughts; I wasn't able to put those into words, but you did. I would never even dream of watching dozens of multiple hour long streams from anyone else, but for Techno it was just instinct for me. Plus, I got into his content back in late 2020 when I was still devastated by my grandmother dying a year earlier, and he became the creator I turned the most to for comfort during the next two years. I'll admit that just like you I really, really wanted to meet him one day, but even though that won't happen now, I'm just grateful I got to watch him when he was still here. Genuinely, I cannot think of a better role model I could have asked for. Wherever he is now, I know he's finally at peace after all the hard work he's done. Thank you so much, Ani, for everything

The lofi song at the end hit extra hard for a personal reason. A week or so after his death, i listened to an hour version it in may car on my whole drive home, and I just…thought about him. How much I miss him, how proud I was of him, etc Me, my content, and my life in general have been permanently impacted by him, and I am so greatfull to have been (and still be) a fan. He did so much and was such a great person, it’s truly a tragedy he was taken so soon. I guess that’s just the game. But we can keep playing for him.

I teared up when I saw that in the reddit post, Techno's dad quoted him saying, "Technoblade is who I really am." I can't entirely say why, but it was comforting knowing that TH-cam was his vent, and that we got to see it.

I’m struggling with health issues rn, and whilst it’s not deadly, I have started rewatching technos old videos, especially his ones about his cancer, because it encourages me to keep fighting. If Techno could look cancer in the eye and say “fuck you, I’m going to keep going.” I can fight back and get better. He makes me laugh in this dark time in my life, and that’s something I really need right now. He inspires me so much, on how smart he is but how subtle it is to those who watch him, how he can make so many laugh, and how he can use the silliest concepts to teach a good lesson.
I've heard people saying things like: “He was just a TH-camr.”, “He wasn’t anything special.” or “You didn’t even know him.” But i think Technoblade ist someone worth remembering. He had an extraordinary Humor and a way of dealing with his viewers that i have never seen before. Even when he was sick he tried to make us laugth although he was dealing with immense pain. I think this Video captures all this pretty well. Technoblade never dies!
I think the first ever video I watched was the 'i became the mayor of skyblock' then I recognized his voice and was like, "oh, gege watches him". From then on, I was hooked, and I started becoming a fan of him. Not only because he was part of the dsmp but also because his voice was so monotonous but his videos remained entertaining and captivating. It's like the type of videos you can never get bored of, and aside from some rare screams from techno, his videos were calming and taught me a lot. Thank you techno for everything

I got to know Technoblade from DSMP. It's where I first saw him, but he became my favorite basically emiediately. I was new to the fandom, but gods, I loved his conent so much. I was looking forward to anything new he made, to getting to be apart of the fandom, to watch someone do incredible things in real time. It never even occured to me that I might not get the chance to do that. Even when the news about cancer came, it never even occured to me that we might lose him. He really outplayed us all, didn't he? He was joking about it till the last moment... I remember how much I was looking forward to summer break, because I could finaly watch DSMP content in real time. To watch more things he was gonna make over the summer. It really hit me like a truck, when the news came. I cried until I couldn't that day. The rest of the summer, I got these moments where I just remembered he's gone and it'd hit me all over again. Somewhere at the end of the summer break, I finaly dyed my hair like I kinda wanted to for a while. Because I figured out what hair color would suit me well. My pink hair is a tribute. One only my sibling really knows about. He was just a goddamn youtuber, but I loved him. His personality, and humor, and content, he was so much more important to me than he probably should have. I still cry whenever I see anything about him. I still watch it. Thank you for the video. I think you really got what made him so great. Anyways. I'm venting here, but honestly, nobody has to even read these, so why not i guess

There's been a load of rubbish, people capitalising off of techno for views, some attempts at commemorating him that felt wrong and insincere (like the TH-cam one) but this was beautiful and incredible. I would think that it was kinda funny because the video didnt have anything that was specific enough, but THIS video as soon as you said "It hurts that we're never going to hear another 'starting the stream' " I started to tear up, then a few moments later you showed a compilation of iconic technoblade moments, and a few tears dropped gently. This one single video just made me remember all the memories and good times i had watching Technoblade. He was probably my favourite youtuber, he was so funny and always trying to make his content good. Rest in peace, Techno.
Techno truly created his own era, at least in my life. When I first got into Techno and others videos, my life changed. It felt like I had something to root for. The night I heard the news, thirty minutes after his last video was posted, it felt like a section of my life had ended, like I was a different person. My mcyt phase was a part of my life that I never want to forget, as cringe as it was. I loved it. Now I'm on to different things-animation, trying to build myself a future in art-and Techno's inspiration still lives with me to this day. I want to be someone as great as he was, I want to help others like he helped me. Techno was truly an amazing person, and I'll never forget him.

I think what makes this tribute special is the fact that you took the words out of my mouth, and put it more into depth. Like for example when the video came out, all I could say was "Technoblade never dies, rest in peace, I miss him a lot" I never got a chance to just think, and really ask myself how I really feel. My mind was so scattered, it was impossible to just think, so I just SAID something, in hopes to calm myself, and make myself feel better. But it never felt like enough, no matter how many times I said "technoblade never dies" or "there will never be another one like him" it just wasn't enough. How can one say something, when one has nothing to say? That's how I felt for so many months, then I saw this video. It really showed me how much thoughts I actually had about the whole situation, and that's just one point, that I found to be incredible in this video. Even though he knew his death was coming, he still was funny, he still was sarcastic, the night the video was uploaded about his death, when I heard the first part about him saying he was dead, my brain thought it was a joke... a joke... and then my eyes teared up, my gut hurt, and I cried myself to sleep for 2 weeks. He was the best person in the world, he was a legend, he was my hero, he was speaking to me, he felt like a friend, and there is now forever a hole in my heart. whenever i see his minecraft avatar i remember all of the videos i watched of his (almost every video) and it makes me want to go back and have 1 more chance to truly realise how much he meant to me and others, thank you technoblade for the fun times.

Such a heartfelt video. I still haven't completely processed that we will never, not ONCE for the rest of our lives, EVER see a new video from technoblade. Every single thing that was said in this video is true. It's been such a long time since I've seen such a somber place like the Hypixel discord server on the date of his death being announced. It's heartbreaking to think that a huge part of so many peoples lives is just gone, and never to be heard from again. When somebody dies, their body dies. When somebody truly dies, their legacy dies. Which is why in every sense of the term, *TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES!*

I don't often share my thoughts in a comment on a video; it feels like there are usually so many comments from other people, there's never a need to make a comment of my own. Unless I feel there is a reason to do otherwise, that's the decision I make.
This is different. I feel the need, despite anyone else who may have said it already, to deeply congratulate and appreciate this tribute. I didn't think when I clicked on this, I would find myself crying from this tribute. I don't cry easily, I've cried maybe one other time from a youtube video.
I wasn't crying from sadness for his loss either, I was crying of joy for who he was when he was alive. It's easier to forget than to feel the pain, and I think when he died, that's kind of what I tried to do. Forget about it, don't think about it, don't face the guilt that one of my heros and inspirations was really gone.

While it is absolutely because he was a great person, I can’t help but think his upload schedule, if you could even call it that, had something to do with it. People never saw him often, so there wasn’t anything to grasp on to. This might have been intentional, though I don’t think Techno would have needed it. It’s just a nice bonus to the thing he was known for the most.
I... I'm speechless. This video managed to put all of the unsaid feelings I had since Technoblade's passing into the words I needed to just share what Technoblade meant to me. I didn't know what to say about Technoblade besides just "Thank you", "Rest in Peace", and "Goodbye". I always envy people who just.. have a way with words. People like you, Animagician, and of course, Technoblade. To say something meaningful. Not just whatever through my unfiltered brain. Thank you, Ani. I'm not one to cry easily, and this video made me cry a second time since Technoblade's death, the first being the day his death was announced. Technoblade was a good man. I see a lot of myself in him, and I think that’s why his death has been so personal and tragic to me. I hadn’t cried over it since the day he died, but man… this was such a beautiful and well made tribute that it brought it out of me all these months later.

Honestly, this is one of the best videos commemorating Techno that I've ever seen. Your way of describing what made him so genuine and captivating to watch completely, 100% lined up with my thoughts; I wasn't able to put those into words, but you did. I would never even dream of watching dozens of multiple hour long streams from anyone else, but for Techno it was just instinct for me. Plus, I got into his content back in late 2020 when I was still devastated by my grandmother dying a year earlier, and he became the creator I turned the most to for comfort during the next two years. I'll admit that just like you I really, really wanted to meet him one day, but even though that won't happen now, I'm just grateful I got to watch him when he was still here. Genuinely, I cannot think of a better role model I could have asked for. Wherever he is now, I know he's finally at peace after all the hard work he's done.

The lofi song at the end hit extra hard for a personal reason. A week or so after his death, i listened to an hour version it in may car on my whole drive home, and I just…thought about him. How much I miss him, how proud I was of him, etc
Me, my content, and my life in general have been permanently impacted by him, and I am so greatfull to have been (and still be) a fan.
He did so much and was such a great person, it’s truly a tragedy he was taken so soon.
I guess that’s just the game.
But we can keep playing for him.

I teared up when I saw that in the reddit post, Techno's dad quoted him saying, "Technoblade is who I really am." I can't entirely say why, but it was comforting knowing that TH-cam was his vent, and that we got to see it.
I relate through understanding how social anxiety can hinder our genuine selves, and through the character he could fully express himself.

I’m struggling with health issues rn, and whilst it’s not deadly, I have started rewatching technos old videos, especially his ones about his cancer, because it encourages me to keep fighting. If Techno could look cancer in the eye and say “fuck you, I’m going to keep going.” I can fight back and get better. He makes me laugh in this dark time in my life, and that’s something I really need right now. He inspires me so much, on how smart he is but how subtle it is to those who watch him, how he can make so many laugh, and how he can use the silliest concepts to teach a good lesson.
I've heard people saying things like: “He was just a TH-camr.”, “He wasn’t anything special.” or “You didn’t even know him.” But i think Technoblade ist someone worth remembering. He had an extraordinary Humor and a way of dealing with his viewers that i have never seen before. Even when he was sick he tried to make us laugth although he was dealing with immense pain.

I think the first ever video I watched was the 'i became the mayor of skyblock' then I recognized his voice and was like, "oh, gege watches him". From then on, I was hooked, and I started becoming a fan of him. Not only because he was part of the dsmp but also because his voice was so monotonous but his videos remained entertaining and captivating. It's like the type of videos you can never get bored of, and aside from some rare screams from techno, his videos were calming and taught me a lot.

I got to know Technoblade from DSMP. It's where I first saw him, but he became my favorite basically emiediately.
I was new to the fandom, but gods, I loved his conent so much. I was looking forward to anything new he made, to getting to be apart of the fandom, to watch someone do incredible things in real time.
It never even occured to me that I might not get the chance to do that. Even when the news about cancer came, it never even occured to me that we might lose him. He really outplayed us all, didn't he? He was joking about it till the last moment...
I remember how much I was looking forward to summer break, because I could finaly watch DSMP content in real time. To watch more things he was gonna make over the summer. It really hit me like a truck, when the news came. I cried until I couldn't that day. The rest of the summer, I got these moments where I just remembered he's gone and it'd hit me all over again. Somewhere at the end of the summer break, I finaly dyed my hair like I kinda wanted to for a while. Because I figured out what hair color would suit me well. My pink hair is a tribute. One only my sibling really knows about.
He was just a goddamn youtuber, but I loved him. His personality, and humor, and content, he was so much more important to me than he probably should have. I still cry whenever I see anything about him. I still watch it.

Techno truly created his own era, at least in my life. When I first got into Techno and others videos, my life changed. It felt like I had something to root for. The night I heard the news, thirty minutes after his last video was posted, it felt like a section of my life had ended, like I was a different person. My mcyt phase was a part of my life that I never want to forget, as cringe as it was. I loved it. Now I'm on to different things-animation, trying to build myself a future in art-and Techno's inspiration still lives with me to this day. I want to be someone as great as he was, I want to help others like he helped me.

I think what makes this tribute special is the fact that you took the words out of my mouth, and put it more into depth. Like for example when the video came out, all I could say was "Technoblade never dies, rest in peace, I miss him a lot" I never got a chance to just think, and really ask myself how I really feel. My mind was so scattered, it was impossible to just think, so I just SAID something, in hopes to calm myself, and make myself feel better. But it never felt like enough, no matter how many times I said "technoblade never dies" or "there will never be another one like him" it just wasn't enough. How can one say something, when one has nothing to say? That's how I felt for so many months, then I saw this video. It really showed me how much thoughts I actually had about the whole situation, and that's just one point, that I found to be incredible in this video. Even though he knew his death was coming, he still was funny, he still was sarcastic, the night the video was uploaded about his death, when I heard the first part about him saying he was dead, my brain thought it was a joke... a joke... and then my eyes teared up, my gut hurt, and I cried myself to sleep for 2 weeks. He was the best person in the world, he was a legend, he was my hero, he was speaking to me, he felt like a friend, and there is now forever a hole in my heart. I think i was just overwhelmed when I heard the news but I was able to take it all in just very recently. I really liked this video.
Honestly i feel like he changed everyones life for the better including mine, i sure as hell agree that nobody can replicate him but honestly i have a small personal goal to live up to him and create something similar to what he did because of how he impacted everyone since he inspired me so much
Techno will forever be my hero. I've been watching through his videos again and despite his death, his legacy and his character have never been more alive in my mind. It's dumb to say "he'll live on in my heart" so I won't, but he will live on as more and more I strive to be as great of a person as he was. Knowing of course that, that's the one thing more difficult than defeating him in pvp...
It is amazing to see all the wonderful videos that people have made honoring him.
