  • The HUAWEI MatePad Air is the company's best tablet to date as it features a 144Hz display, support for wireless keyboard and M-Pencil, Snapdragon 888 processor, and PC-level productivity. Check out what we think about the tablet in our review video

They missed these crucial features that would've made this tablet an actual workhorse:
    -Dex Mode/ Desktop Mode
-Support for a variety of smartphone brands, not just huawei's.
-More apps custom made to suit the desktop experience other than WPS. ex: A full blown photoshop clone, a powerful video and image editing software, etc..
-Better Operating System. Currently, the Android fork that is HOS doesn't feel a smooth nor as freat to use as other similar skins such as Meizu's Flyme OS, MIUI, Vivo's Origin OS, and more. My guy, I could bet that a $140 phone from OPPO would run as smooth as that tablet.
-They also lack the essential mirror apps.
These chinese mfs can make really good and stable software. Yet, somehow, they don't make better iterations of google's applications. Google classroom runs like shit, it's super unstable. The same goes for their Jamboard. Drive doesn't properly do its job, especially when needed. Signing documents digitally is a pain. There are so many things that Huawei can start capitalizing on, yet somehow we're stuck dealing with mediocre software and efforts from both sides.

      Agree on these things
Desktop mode - Been using it on the Huawei P60 Pro and my external display
More apps for desktop mode - Yeah. Been looking for more apps. But its nice that we already have something like this here.
Better OS - Despite the ban and everything. Their improvement is noticeable but I really hope that they can do something about it. They're lagging.
Hoping for better optimizations on HUAWEI ecosystem in the future

there is always a way to make it stable 😎
i never encounter any app issues or compatibility in huawei products... it depends on how you research it 🤔
