My friend Billy had a ten-foot willy.
He showed it to the girl next door.
She thought it was a snake,
Hit it with a rake,
And now it's only four foot four.
My friend Billy had a ten-foot willy
And he thought it would be fun
To stick it in his mouth
But it then went too far south
And came right out his bum.
14:38 just in case you think I've lost the plot. 🤣
There are so many references to old ads in this, you didn't stand a chance . Even young Brits wouldn't have got most of these :) .
Especially as most young people probably don't watch terrestrial TV as much as streaming platforms, and the ads you get on social media are targeted to you by the algorithm rather than general adverts for the whole population a la TV.
Marks and Spencers had a series of adverts where they said, "This isn't just any *insert product*, this is M&S *insert product*". Hence the mask joke :)
The Bacardi Breezer joke is because it was an alcoholic drink associated with... "rowdy" ladies on nights out...
And I think the canoe references are because of a guy who faked his death in a canoe accident around the time this was filmed
Berocca is a multivitamin you dissolve in water, and it really does give you luminous pee
The Catwoman joke, there was a woman caught on camera putting a cat in a wheelie bin and walking away who was universally hated by Britain at the time
When an M&S advert would come on the TV, so would I.
The comedian you wanted to know the name of is Andy Parsons
Context for the canoe joke near the start - it's a reference to John Darwin who, in March 2002, went kayaking and was later reported as missing. After the wreckage of his canoe was found, a death certificate was formed, allowing his wife Anne to claim for life insurance. Turns out it was all a full-blown insurance scam so they could pay their £130k mortgage that continued for about five and a half years. And Darwin? Well, he was secretly living in Anne's house (and the one next door) so they could use the insurance money for their own uses. Funnily enough early on in the scam a tenant of a block of flats that the Darwins owned saw John and asked, "Aren't you meant to be dead?". Darwin quickly responded "Don't tell anyone". He never did.
Little fact: there's an ITV series dramatising this event if you want to find out more - there's even a few appearances from none other than Karl Pilkington (there's a compilation of every time he's in the show on TH-cam somewhere if you want to check that out - it's quite a serious role and he pulls it off really well)
I agree with you about the Lynx spray. I like the chocolate scent. I will add, though, that people should remember that Lynx is not a substitute for a shower.🤣
Ok that made me laugh lol
That's what Axe is for!
Tom Allen is a delightfully playful comic who goes "all in" on even little roles like Scenes We'd Like To See" And yes his trademark old fashioned style does suit the role of Head Master. He's been on Cats, WILTY and QI so you may have come across him on the first two, or may do so in the future.
The first bald guy is Andy Parsons, and yes, the other one was Hugh Dennis. The one you thought looked like a headmaster is Tom Allen - he's a regular on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
And for your next trick, explain why Parsons was ever invited back. Year after year after year.
Honestly the commercial ones are gonna be difficult because so many of them are great jokes but only if you know what they’re riffing on.
As someone who just binged your Mock the Week reactions, you did in fact react to several of these videos before.
"... his lil scarfy ma-jiggy thingy ma thing ... whatever"
giggles
😅😅😅
Mandy "I'm not a man"
Us: "No shit Sherlock" 😂
This is probably a different story, as it was several years ago. But it was the exact same situation.
A kid brought in a clock completely out of the blue, it wasn’t a project, and I wouldn’t call it building a clock. He took the shell off one clock and “rebuilt” it inside a brief case, so you could read the time when it was opened. His dad “encouraged” him to take it to school.
It was a whole fiasco. Whether the school was being racist or the kid and his dad were intentionally trying to “frame” the school doesn’t really matter. What dad thinks that is a good idea to bring in to a school unannounced?
1. At 14 that isn’t something to brag about.
2. A brief case displaying a clock is not something I would want my kid ever holding. Regardless of the colour of their skin. I’m surprised he wasn’t shot in America tbh
The proper name of a kerchief in a gentleman's jacket pocket is a POCKET SQUARE. In love with your laugh and reactions.
Andy Parsons is the man whose name you plan to look up. The 'handkerchief' is referred to as a pocket square.
& Tom Allen ROCKS that pocket square!
'It looked a bit bomby'..... now theres a quote for the ages 😅
18:45 OFSTED is the Office for Standards in Education, the government inspectors of schools. A primitive caveman with only a rudimentary command of language wondering why his school got a poor rating is a wonderfully left field image from Milton Jones. Broke me just as much as it did Ed Gamble.
4:45 Mandy being as Mandy as Mandy can be 😊
🤣🤣🤣
A cranky guy named Rod...Inconceivable!
Not one of the Rods she thought of but I thought of Rod Gilbert.. I'd say also cranky 😅
So cool that you made your own playlist for these. The actual compilations are much longer so very understandable.
Andy Parsons is the bald guy you were wanting to look up.
And the cranky guy from America's Got Talent was Howard Stern.
It's normal that you wouldn't have got a lot of the references in the first one.
Very enjoyable!
You should do what I do. I use a Voice Changer to make me sound like a sexy Woman. Then I send myself sexy Phone Calls which are Recorded on my Answering Machine. It is great to hear phone calls from someone who loves me so much.🧸🧸
You should get drunk before you do that so that you don't remember and then later you get a sexy surprise! 😜
Finally glad to see you get a Scenes We'd Like To See with Frankie Boyle (the first one) even if he wasn't at his best (or worst if you're faint of heart). Also for 15:40 the comedian's name is Andy Parsons.
I really liked this format of you watching multiple short videos in one video, you should do this more often maybe with miscellaneous short clips to short for their own video
In England about 10 years ago a woman threw a cat in a bin it made the news
There was someone in Newcastle, who faked his death pretending to have a cannoe accent.
The Barcardi Breezer was a fruit flavoured alcholic drink popular among young women.
Loving your reactions ❤
These rounds always come at the end of the show, so even if you weren't aware of what news stories they may be referencing, they're often callbacks to things brought up (and mocked) earlier in the episode, such as John McCain's stilted movements, man faking death by canoe disappearance, Max Mosley's sexual shenanigans, etc. You're missing out by not watching full episodes!
The gimp mask/S&M joke is a play on the longtime UK retailer M&S.
Red details and a bit bomb-y looking also describe Mandy pretty well.
Watched earlier. A Pakistani said that he got off of a bus when another Pakistani got on, with a rucksack !
The bald guy you asked about is Andy Parsons.
Who has an identical voice to Griff Rhys Jones
Sorry for making you nervous, and thanks for the lunch entertainment. It was perfect timing.
15:40 Andy Parsons.
Thanks Mandy. As happy-making as ever.
😊😊😊😊😊 The Black Horse is sign/trade mark of Lloyds bank in UK ❤
There's a branch of Lloyd's in Buenos Aires, and if I remember correctly, Mandy's originally from California, so she might be familiar with Lloyd's Bank California, which bought out First Western Bank.
You should make your own comps more often even if its just an assortment of random shit to short to have its own video
20:10 Registrar of sexual offenders is called this, not of school attendance.
18:47 “OFSTED Man, he come, he say school not good” - so the school got a bad assessment, not unlikely considering the teacher!
12:11, "It looked quite bomby!?.", one to remember Mandy !!. Epic !.😂
🤪
They mentioned it earlier in the episode - John Mccain was tortured during Vietnam & now can't lift his hands higher a certain height.
He's the bloke about Trump was quoted "He's a loser, I prefer Winners"
The bold hair bloke is Andy Parsons
Haha! He has bold hair indeed 😅. They don't even need to show themselves to make a statement 🤪
Hugh Dennis was in every episode of “Mock the Week”.
‘Is this a scarf?’
You need to watch the compilation of Frankie Boyle's answers.
13:12 well actually, it kinda does. :)
Ignoring that Vader is all black (suit), the voice of Vader is portrayed by non other than legendary James Earl Jones. ;)
Sorry if I'm being pedantic, but Vader was VOICED by James Earl Jones, the man in the suit was Dave "The Green Cross Cod Man" Prowse.
Sorry again - you DID say voiced!
@@ianharrison3662 😂
No problem, my friend. ☺
12:38 The Cat-woman joke. There was a "news" story about a crazy woman who was caught on camera walking up to a cat sitting outside a house, grabbing it by the neck, and throwing it into a trash bin. She became the most hated woman in Britain for a while.
Marks & Spencers did a whole bunch of food adverts that had an overly sexual voice over.
Iceland is a frozen food store that sells ready meals.
The bacon slicer joke by Frankie was suggesting the guy sliced his fat off.
By your nodding at the start i guess you get your 5 a day
17.59 - I wasn't expecting your "northern English kitchen-sink soap opera" accent to be so on point :]
My favourite bit of videos like this is where you hear something like "Nazi-themed orgy" and your expression is just like "yo, what actually happens in Britain?!"
HAHAHHAHA! 🤨 🤣🤣
According to James Earl Jones, it adds up. And one more thing: if Leia knew who her pops was, at the beginning, she might have been able to stop all the goings on in the galaxy. A vader might get angy at a stranger and blow up her planet. We all have those days. Plus, there are billions of places to find a new home. He wouldn't do it with his daughter knowing he was a meenie. He'd be a toy with his daughter. Why Obi? Yes, i guess that would have made for a different franchise. But Why?
A Peperami is similar to a Slim Jim, the commercials/adverts are abit weird and funny if you want to react to them. Or just look for weird/funny British adverts, we've had quite a few. The '90s and upto about the mid 2010s were the best times to see some really weird and funny ones, some in the '80s aswell.
She has, it was ages ago though so you'll have to search for them or scroll a bit
Scenes I'd like to see - Oscar winners being chased by Zombies just 1.3 miles South of my house in 19 days time.
That will be coming true, although the Oscar winners and other actors are normally 1.5 miles North of my house.
I think you should react to some British commercials compilations Mandy, we have some bizarre but also some really good commercials like the john lewis christmas ads, you would get a lot more of the reference's on mock the week, you should also react to a full episode of mock the week
She has go to videos filter oldest first then scroll a little, she's reacted to Christmas as well
I don’t know if you’ve watched Queen Charlotte, but Hugh Dennis (middle right) is the Kings Butlers Dad!
Hi Mandy, You're Amazing! I Enjoyed Watching. Keep Up The Incredible Work! The Intro Was Fun. Love Your Commentary, Always So Good.
Re the "Muslim kid's bomb" did no one notice the numbers were going UP ?
There was a woman who put a cat in a bin.
8:58 early onset demendicant? 🙃There were an excessive number of "Squirrel! Squirrel! Squirrel!" moments today even for you! 🙃
alcohol makes her drunk to give in
Qantas are famously the safest airline, having never had an accident, so it's a double yolker. No airline would say that but especially them. Anyways, Ty 😊
Onwards Christian soldiers mash up with Stormsy is a nice juxtaposition, it all came back around in the end 😌 agreed whose line was much better, frankie was the only good thing about this show the rest is meh
Howard Stern?...I dunno 😊
This is British, that's why you don't know half of the references.
to drink?
You never watched the show Gladiators???
Andy parsons
Andy Parsons
Ads and news you've got no chance !
There's no point u watching most of mock the week, as you will not understand Mandy, it's mock the week on UK buddy and very dated, as it was made the week or10 days b4. Plz remember the show can been made b4 u were born x
Never really could get into Mock the Week, but your reactions make it 100x better. “I didn’t even mean to make that pun!” Haha. What evs. Haha. Yeah, I remember that story about the kid with the ‘bomb.’ Shameful on the staff of the school. And Mandy, what is your tattoo of? But, as always, great vid. 😁
6:58 yeah, I wouldn't like my deodorant to sound like leather, let alone anything, really.
Yeah, I wonder what leather deodorant would sound like too! 🤔
I feel it’s a little unfair on you as half the references you really have too be British too fully understand
Ah well, life is unfair 🌈🤷🏻♀️
@@MandyCaneLane argh fair enough, I mean if your not too fussed by it then that’s the main thing really haha
Au v GB 😛😛😛
Hello dreamy Miranda
Peeping Tom to Mandy: "Happy" accident, indeed. 😂😄
I was trying to think of a Gordon Brown one that I might have said if I were one of those on the show, then one minute later they said a Gordon Brown one.
Since you mentioned nachos, buenos nachos to you, too. 😄
How shit is tjis compared to the good old days, before franky became woke, comedy in general society is cringey as fck now, i dont watch tv, comedy like these end ones are trully dreadful, why dont i laugh like i did as a teenager in 90s and early 2,000s, its died man, so bad andy parsons is still on the shows, he used too be the worst on the show, now hes the second best after hugh, im sad where British comedy has gone 😢😢😢
It's probably gonna change back soon because a lot of people are turning against the ""woke"" stuff and profit's are dropping
@Silver_Specter I hope you are right, I can't see it, though, even TH-cam is getting worse, FB etc etc all wokey as fck
Have you been in qn accident that wasn't your fault?
Yes my conception 🥲
Hair looks better & natural than dyed😘
