Big brooders were stocked in wv this fall . Not quite as big as some in the spring but a decent amount of them . I caught a few nice brooders really pretty hooked jaw males too. One was 23.5 inches other was 24.5 beautiful looking male trout. The trout coming out the hatcheries in wv in my area always look amazingly well for stocked fish .
Just realized this is less than 2 hours away from me. Checked their site and facebook, but no info on pricing. Whats it like to just fish for a day? Also is a VA license required?
That's a epic day of fishing, what a blessing. Did u know Fenwick has redone there rod line. They look and sound great from what info I was able to find. Remember one can never have to much fishing gear 👍😁
Fantastic fish catching here and those trout are some great sizes too. a few Creeks here in Pennsylvania are really low and the one canal is pretty much fished out. On top of that the weather is getting colder. so I just may be done with fishing for now, until April gets here again. can't even catch crappies or perch right now. I would have to get a better pole and reel to fish the river for them.👍🏻👍🏻

70$ a day - 6 fish keep limit - Virginia freshwater license required.
