This video was a nostalgia trip. I remember the first time I ever played Brave Frontier. Was a hot summer afternoon, me and my brother were bored of Runescape and wanted to find a great IOS game to play, we stumbled upon Brave Frontier and we were hooked. For 8 lovely years we played it. I was the higher level because i'd auto run the game on karma gates with the christmas bear unit for that 35+ exp boost while I was at work. When I told my brother the game was going to close we spent days collecting gems to have a summon off... of course there wasn't a great banner out so we both got junk units. The very last time I played Brave Frontier was in January of 2022. I honestly thought the game was going to make a come back because they said in one of their developer notes that they plan on something big. Turns out they were hanging up the coat. I watch videos about Brave Frontier to keep that nostalgia alive and well. I hope Gumi decides to bring back this magnificent game back from the dead.

Hatsune Miku event brought Miku into a fucking huuuuuuugee part of my life and I’ve got so many memories with so many parts of life from 11-18 with the game. I still absolutely loved the game even though the power creep went absolutely nuts (haha) with like, 95% of the obtainable units that were released near the birth of the game becoming absolutely useless and 7* becoming 10000% easier to obtain than a 6* in a summon but I still loved playing it. Got screen capture of all my units and loads of gameplay with them, went on a summon spree and getting every single one of those units to omni along with gameplay of all the dungeon grind to level them and get all the materials on the way for the last week. R.I.P. Brave Frontier - You will be missed.

My brother played the game for some time before I did, and he got me into it. I had studied the game through him, to the point where I could name just about every unit on the downloading screen before ever meeting them. I chose Eze at the beginning, but I first truly fell in love with Kalon (the Heresy Demon). He led my main team from 2014 to 2020. 2020 was when I got Galtier, whom I had been wanting since… 2018 I think? He led my main team for a good year until I finally got Kirke. Kirke was (and still is) my favorite unit in the entire game. Hell, I still go on the wiki just to read units’ lore and gaze at their artwork.
i was in the same position, if you are still looking for a brave frontier like game you should try to move on to Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, it is similar to Brave Frontier!

The thing I remember the most haven't played in years was evolving the fire dude with my brother help, my god it was furstrating but seeing how this game is potentially not going to reopen It truly is fustrating. Because today I was hoping to redownload it and play it once more but come to a realization the game is not there. I hope this game can somehow reopen and I can once play it again.
I really do wish that they handled the closing of the game better. They should have gifted some gems , more banners to summon from or have unlimited stamina. Kinda disappointed how it ended but at least I got to play a little before it closed for good.
I completely agree, its sad how they just dropped the game just like that. tbf it would have been more work for no pay, so I understand why they didn't do anything.
I didn't even get to play before it closed. Mind you my account was almost 10 years old (I'm a day 1 player). I had to go through loops to redownload the game and get my account back. But by then it was too late. I'll really miss this game, had soooo much fun throughout the years playing this.
@@lionobjs Sorry you didn’t get to play again. I played around the time of the game released. Had a lot of fun memories as well. Only thing we can do now is cherish those memories we have and be glad we were able to have the opportunity to play this game!
Hopefully they have some massively overhauled and revamped Brave Frontier game in the wings. Gumi does not seem to have much in terms of games outside the BF series, and axing it without any sort of reason seems unwise unless they were going out of business, which I'm pretty sure isn't the case.
@@Tetsyumi What I would have done is yes shut down the original, but in the notification prior, let the players know to keep their IDs, so maybe they could get some of their units in 2. I would also add the plot dungeons as a side mode for 2 of those who have yet to complete the story.

Elza that character is forever. Dual end scythe and chained in hand and feet with dark purple aura fire. Thats matches creativity and the story

Yeah I agree. Shutting down this game was inevitable at some point, but its weird for them to be shutting down every BF game...
