I follow your friend but I do not understand very well his English accent, I know he is from Germany, I am a fan of his content I only think he should speak more slowly
I think you are the only 2 guys on TH-cam who make elegant and Classic videos. You guys keep it simple and straightforward no messing around. A lot of respect for you both. Thank you for bringing quality content.
This is pretty much my situation. I recently started working and learned that collarless tops on their own (i.e. t-shirts, collarless jackets, etc) are not allowed, so I couldn't use most of my shirts from university. What do other guys do? They simply wear their field work uniform jacket on top of their t-shirts: a flame-resistant, bright blue jacket with silver reflector strips. Instead of following their example, I took this chance to spice up my wardrobe. I'm not ready to dress very maturely (it doesn't suit me given my young looks) but still, a blazer here, a waist coat there, maybe a neck tie or a suspender, and people notice and compliment me :) I'm still an amateur in fashion so I hope to learn from experts such as you.
Rafael Schneider is a style God. If you can't learn something from Sven, then dressing well may not be for you. That guy is incredible and he sets the bar so high. As an athlete I admire anyone who strives to set the bar high. Thank you Antonio for bringing him on today.
As someone who wants to dress up but has some concerns about doing so, Raphael has been a very inspirational person to me. One of my comments on one of his videos was featured in the last article you linked to. I'm glad you chose to link to it as it shows that my question led to a video/article that seem to be helpful! Of course this is all thanks to Raphael for choosing my comment to feature. You both are great, guys! Very inspirational and amazing people. I love these kinds of videos, Antonio. Will be looking forward to more of them.
Since I've been watching Raphael's, Antonio's, Brock's and many others videos I leveled up my wardrobe without investing boats of money. In fact I've spent the same amount as always. You guys changed me. Today I strive to be the best dressed and the kindest man in the room. A BIG thanks to you Antonio.
I celebrate you guys. You have taught me a lot and I was like wowww when I realized you two are friends, no competition! You're making real impact in the world!! Good job!!!
raphael has a great sense of dressing and is a very knowledgeable man when it comes to style. but at the same time, i feel that he can maximise his image by wearing clothes that are slightly more fitted. a lot of his pants look super wide and i am not a fan of that. ofc his style is classic but there is no harm having clothes that are a little more tailored; he will only look sharper than he already does!
Ishraq Haider Some people just can't wear slim pants. For example, my legs are muscular with big calves and pants with a leg opening smaller than 8,25" don't drape well on me. Also, a small leg opening makes your feet look bigger which looks bad.
XorSki you are right. Which is why i said slightly more fitted rather than using the word slim. Because slim might be too big of a change for him and may not be flattering either.
Reinhart Alvaro you are correct man. It's just that I think he will look even better if somtimes his clothes were a bit more tailored. It doesn't have to be slim or skinny. ofc it's his choice what he wears. I am just stating my pov on this.
You are correct. I dressed up for the first time for flight a few years ago, I was treated much better at the TSA checkpoint and was upgraded to first class.
Raphael's list of 101 Things That Happen When You Upgrade Your Wardrobe got inducted into the Library of Congress officially as classic American literature
I dress nice only about 1/3 of the time but I do definitely see the difference in how people treat you, the compliments you get as well as the stares (all so far in a good way lol).
Commenting before even watching this, but great topic. Many of us who enjoy to dress up do not necessarily have a professional position that requires it, so it is easy to feel a bit self conscious when your peers dress down.
I think a lot of people would naturally feel like acting cocky from the confidence-boost one gets when dressing really well, but Raphael made a really good point about being really nice and relatable. Most of the society have preconceived notions that rich people are not nice, but if you look rich and are nice, they will reeeeally like you as a result of you breaking that notion.
I can definitely relate to this topic! I am always well dressed and my signature are wearing suspenders. Yes, there's going to be both negative and positive comments. But honestly there will be more compliments you will receive than anything else lol. Be yourself and stick to what you love! Some just don't have the balls to put effort on what they wear.
I really enjoyed this video because my town of 6000 in Alaska rarely dresses up. Too often I plan to wear a sport jacket and chicken out at the last minute. Yeah, people tease me when I do or ask if I have a date but most people compliment me. It take a lot of courage and confidence to be the only person dressed up. The girls notice for sure. I would like to get to the point where I can wear a jacket every day and for no special occasion. Thanks for the inspiration. Big fan of both of you. Keep it up!
Usually when I get suit dressed to the office and my colleagues surprised ask me, do you have a client visit today? I answer no, I just knew you were coming today and I dressed to welcome you, or I just wanted to be well depressed for you, and they feel great about it and gift me with a smile
When people ask me I just say because I want to and so far seems everyone has accepted that reason without any problems. I haven’t had anyone say to me “do you think you are better than me” but if I did my response would be “I really couldn’t really give a stuff how other people dress”.
Still wearing my worn jeans but with either my dress boots or my casual dress shoes, a nice button down with or without cuff links and either a bow tie or a regular neck tie with a tie clip or a vest if feeling bold. My wife thinks I'm nuts, because it's something new.
Thank you both for doing this video. The subject speaks to my situation very well since I work in a manufacturing plant. Dressing sharp does take some courage at first but you’ll find that you will receive a lot of positive attention at least I have, the confidence it gives you is also a positive effect.
one thing that works for me, is slowly incorporating formal wear into your daily rotation. Simply just wearing a blazer with t shirt underneath, then start adding dress shoes, then start wearing casual button down shirt underneath the blazer (not dress shirt), then add dress shirt.
Here on that channel most of us know that "problem". My favorite response is just: "This is Berlin, so I am allowed to wear whatever I like. And I chose this because I like it." And it is true, this is why people get it. Alternatively, if a friend asks you, you could just reply: "Counterquestion: What keeps you from wearing a tie/suit/shirt/blazer?" Because what people sometimes feel is the feeling of "exclusion", like they are not part of the people who are educated about suits and dresscodes... The question helps them realize that they just have to choose to be a part of it..m
Real Men Real Style not sure who but more stuff on time management. Getting more out of our day. You have given us your day but more things to help would be great. I want to get the most in one day.
This was a pleasant collaboration. The best classic men's fashion TH-camrs ( Centeno no1 ! Hahah ) having you both is very complementary. But I wanted to ask the reason behind the setting of the video's shoot ! The outdoors came with background voices that were not very welcome ! Maybe a future video will have you both in an intimate space ! Great content bdw !
I have to agree with you Shanti. To see these two style giants together was great; for some reason even more powerful than seeing either one of them separately within their own channels. Or at leas that's the way it feels. For us out here that are still getting our " style sea legs," Antonio and Raphael provide the level of knowledge about so many things that give me the confidence to step outside wearing clothes in the way they suggest. And they're right!! So yeah...all the background noise WAS a distraction. But I'll take what I can get....lol
I know many people who are really going to benefit from this ! Raph sets the bar so high that one is almost intimidated but then Antonio grabs you from the misery of the style bottom and pulls you up ! Get them together and its the right combination ! Iconic !
hey it's good to see one of my favourite style guide on RMRS .. keep such collaborations frequently Antonio 😊. it definitely shows that you are one of the most secured youtuber 👍
It drives me nuts when I go out to a high end restaurant dressed well...and there are slobs there in polis and shorts. I live in Floriduh, but that is no excuse to be a slob.
Sometimes I tell people I'm dressed up because I don't want my best dressed day to be in my casket. Most people don't know how to respond to that haha.
I truly like your videos, Antonio! Collaborations are a really interesting way to mix it up a little. I just wanted to say that I really prefer backgrounds that have "life" to them (like the one in this video) to a plain white wall. I just recently watched one of your Videos in which you are standing in front of some shelves with shoes on them in an actual room and that was when I noticed how much a different background could be adding to your Videos, even if you used it only once in a while.
Hello! I am 54 and seeking some hot weather summer fashion ideas. Specifically, an outfit with shorts. But...no polo shirts. Reason being, polo shirt sleeves are often too short and on my 54 year old arms, the arms appear weak and aging. Ha! Thanks, Eric.
hopper333 I was going to suggest tailored, short sleeve, button down shirts but I'm not sure if the sleeve lengths are also too short. You might want to try untucked dress shirts with sleeves rolled back. Make sure the untucked shirt doesn't go below mid crotch.
Oddly, dressing sharp in Silicon Valley is not only uncommon, it’s actually shunned. Out here, people think looking great at work is ostentatious. Looking like a complete slob is actually seen as “looking smart.” It’s very odd. My boss actually told me wearing a tie was making my coworkers uncomfortable and was perceived as arrogant. I hate CA.
It's not just CA or Silicone Valley. It's the mindset of the work culture you are in. If you are in High tech science and engineering, don't dress up because you aren't taken seriously. If you turn up dressed up they might think you are in "sales" or "management", those who don't do any real work of value comparitively. It is so ingrained in my perception of intelligence now unfortunately that if I were to see a well dressed man I wouldn't be too convinced of his technical skills. Sad but true.
I don't disagree...spoken like a true programmer. What these 'smart' people fail to realize is that effort doesn't have intrinsic value. I can spend all day building a sand castle...the best sand castle ever...doesn't mean it has value. This is why so many good tech companies fail...they are run by engineers who see "business guys" and "sales and marketing" as irrelevant. Building the best software in the world doesn't make a business successful (or an engineer relevant). If nobody buys it (i.e. nobody sells it), it's all moot. Businesses are run by business people...not the cooks in the kitchen, not the programmers in engineering, not the mechanics in the shop....those folks are the help, the talent...but they don't create/run the biz. Steve Jobs wasn't Steve Jobs because he was an amazing engineer...he was Steve Jobs because he was a shrewd (and unapologetic) businessman. And Apple isn't Apple because they make the 'best' products...they are Apple because they have the best marketing department in the world.
There really is no dress code. It's tech, so it looks like a dorm (filled wit 40-year-old students). I used to wear Santoni monks and blazers. Now it's jeans, loafers and a marino sweater pretty much every day. Basically, what I'd normally wear on casual Friday, but every day. When I first moved here a buddy I worked with called Friday "loincloth Fridays"....pretty close. I've got several suits, ties, overcoats that are just gathering dust (they're in garment bags, but you get the drift).
Most of my colleagues wear dad jeans, baggy clothes and very casual clothes. At work i dress smart casual or semi formal because i think elevate my profession and our "official" dress code is formal or semi formal. Sadly, some guy or two always make fun of that or they have to say something about my shoes, sport jacket, ties or anything. Sometimes it is exhausting. I hope you can give me more tips about this topic. Btw, i am school teacher. Regards. (I do not speak english, excuse my writing mistakes)
Real Men Real Style Not so much, because by dressing sharp i feel better about me and my job (Why a school teacher can not dress Iike anothers respectful professions?). I got compliments from my female colleagues too.
Pushy sales reps can be so irritating sometimes. They don't let me browse to see what I want and are constantly trying to suggest items that I don't need. Thankfully, not all sales reps are like that.
Antonio, I’m a college story and I’m shadowing a lawyer in a couple days. I was wondering is wearing a purple shirt with a navy suit too much or should I go with a white shirt or something like that?
White shirt. Preferably made from 100% cotton. You could possibly go with a light pattern such as a herringbone or a pinpoint weave. www.realmenrealstyle.com/navy-suit-five-ways/
Hey Antonio amazing collab and liked Raphael channel as well. Had a request, can you make a video on color combinations in suits? I've around 8 pair of suits ranging from Grey to blue. But have issues with which shirt to pair with. Mostly I use white but I wanna experiment with other colors. Your advice would be highly appreciated. Cheers

I follow your friend but I do not understand very well his English accent, I know he is from Germany, I am a fan of his content I only think he should speak more slowly
Please turn on the subtitles / closed captions, then you should be able to understand everything. Also you can change the speed to 0.75 if that helps.
Ps: we did an in depth video about this topic here th-cam.com/video/MF523i7MLxI/w-d-xo.html
ok
Thanks Antonio, it was nice to meet up with you again in Austin. Next time, Minneapolis!
Agreed!!!
I think you are the only 2 guys on TH-cam who make elegant and Classic videos. You guys keep it simple and straightforward no messing around. A lot of respect for you both. Thank you for bringing quality content.
The perfect combo: the guy who makes things simple and practical for the everyman, and the guy who brings back the classics.
You are definitely two of the best dressed and classy guys out there!
Thank you for your videos and congratulations!
You rock Guillermo - thank you!
Love Raphael...a true gentlemen
I completely agree :)
This is pretty much my situation. "It is Thursday". I'm using that one!
Rafael Schneider is a style God. If you can't learn something from Sven, then dressing well may not be for you. That guy is incredible and he sets the bar so high. As an athlete I admire anyone who strives to set the bar high. Thank you Antonio for bringing him on today.
I do too.

Top 10 anime crossovers.
Generally if someone says, "Do you think you're better than me?' It's a refection of their own insecurity. Cheers guys, keep up the great work.
Bob Hyslop
Answer: “I do not know you well enough for a judgement.” 😄
Thanks for the tipps. I like these collaboration videos.
PS: Didn't expected such an output this week 😁👌👍
Thanks Bernd! Who do you want to see here?
Real Men Real Style Hmm, I like The Style O.G.
I will continue to think about a topic which interests me, this makes a choice easier
Good job!!!
Raphael has a great smile and tons of charisma and I like his "classic gentleman" style.
raphael has a great sense of dressing and is a very knowledgeable man when it comes to style.

I have my style and won't adjust it to current fashion trends. In 10 years the slim fit will likely be over again but I will still wear my garments.
You are correct. I dressed up for the first time for flight a few years ago, I was treated much better at the TSA checkpoint and was upgraded to first class.
Wow! There you go...
Rarely, I encounter hostility. One time I flashed a somewhat evil grin, and the hostile stranger meekly smiled back and shrunk away.
Raphael's list of 101 Things That Happen When You Upgrade Your Wardrobe got inducted into the Library of Congress officially as classic American literature
Awesome!
huberfloover Agreed!
It's great to see two of my favourite style channels work together. I'll be sure to use these responses if I get any critics regarding my attire.
The ultimate men's style crossover.
I love wearing a sport coat with a T shirt and dress pants in the summer time. It gets a TON of attention living at the Jersey Shore!
Nice!
Raphael can laugh... Wow
Moحammed Farah I never watched his channel before. Is he really that dry?
Yes my 2 favourite channels together. I learn so much from you both and I wish to thank you most sincerely.
Happy to hear that. Thanks for the continued support.
I dress nice only about 1/3 of the time but I do definitely see the difference in how people treat you, the compliments you get as well as the stares (all so far in a good way lol).
I love the Gentleman's Gazette. Awesome channel and sweet collaboration!
My two favorite channels.....together. I love it
Commenting before even watching this, but great topic. Many of us who enjoy to dress up do not necessarily have a professional position that requires it, so it is easy to feel a bit self conscious when your peers dress down.
It's something that happens often... I tend to just smile it off... but other line it's thursday... I think I will use that.
When people ask me why I’m wearing what I’m wearing (not always a suit), I ask, why not?
Confidence is they key :)
My most waited collab ever. Love both of these guys.

But honestly there will be more compliments you will receive than anything else lol. Be yourself and stick to what you love! Some just don't have the balls to put effort on what they wear.
Well said Classy Juanito.
Classy Juanito Someone who is into suspenders too ! I am delighted at the hearing of you !
Shanti Zinata lets keep the classic look going! Good job! 😎👍
It's nice to see the two together, I follow and respect them both.
Thanks for watching the video.
In this episode we teach you how to dress like Piwi Herman and feel comfortable about it...
calvometal Lmao!
I needed this video I am 17 and I wear a long sleeve shirt and a bow tie and I get this quite a bit from my family and other students at college.
How do you deal with it?
Real Men Real Style : I tell them because I enjoy it it's different from a lot of other teens.
I can almost smell the class 👌👌👌
Usually when I get suit dressed to the office and my colleagues surprised ask me, do you have a client visit today? I answer no, I just knew you were coming today and I dressed to welcome you, or I just wanted to be well depressed for you, and they feel great about it and gift me with a smile
Just look confident. And smile back when all their girlfriends and wives smile atchya.. thats it. Thanks again guys.
The gurus, two of my favourite mens stylists
Awesome. I will always come back to RMRS no matter how far I go. Home is where Antonio is 🤗🤗
The two of you are the BEST!
What do you tell her when she reacts that way?
Thank you both for doing this video. The subject speaks to my situation very well since I work in a manufacturing plant. Dressing sharp does take some courage at first but you’ll find that you will receive a lot of positive attention at least I have, the confidence it gives you is also a positive effect.
That's right.
one thing that works for me, is slowly incorporating formal wear into your daily rotation. Simply just wearing a blazer with t shirt underneath, then start adding dress shoes, then start wearing casual button down shirt underneath the blazer (not dress shirt), then add dress shirt.
Good example!
If anybody asks me why I’m dressed up, I tell them it’s because I like dressing up and I’m simply enjoying life.
Love it!
Here on that channel most of us know that "problem". My favorite response is just: "This is Berlin, so I am allowed to wear whatever I like. And I chose this because I like it."
And it is true, this is why people get it. Alternatively, if a friend asks you, you could just reply: "Counterquestion: What keeps you from wearing a tie/suit/shirt/blazer?"

Two of the greatest men in TH-cam.
Thank you Manuel!
Great vid & collab Antonio. I dig Raphael's Channel. You two gents are at the top two I go to for style advice.
Love how you are bringing others into the videos. Give us even more to grow on!
Noted! Who do you want to see here Richie?
Real Men Real Style not sure who but more stuff on time management. Getting more out of our day. You have given us your day but more things to help would be great. I want to get the most in one day.

I like working with my friends :)
thanks RMRS..LOve you guys
0:16 Look at him hold that pose... 😂
But seriously I love both of you guys, you’re both awesome
Just tell them its your style, This is what I like. be polite and ask the person why they asked.
Another great video!
No other "men's fashion channel" just Real men Real style.
Appreciate this - thanks Pareen.
This reply really made my day !
A perfect video as always...thank you Mr. Centeno!!
Rahael's a gentlemen's gentleman.
It drives me nuts when I go out to a high end restaurant dressed well...and there are slobs there in polis and shorts. I live in Floriduh, but that is no excuse to be a slob.
When you put a suit on people will definitely compliment you more, treat you nicer, and even call you sir.lol.
They certainly do.
I've learnt so much from you 2 great guys. I'm improving in the right places and when I'm shopping I know what to look for especially online! Thanks
Glad you find the videos useful Riz!
Sometimes I tell people I'm dressed up because I don't want my best dressed day to be in my casket. Most people don't know how to respond to that haha.
Haha!
I just love his smiley face.
I’m subscribed to both channels. Love them both.
Appreciate the love Dlee645!
I went out dressed up and definitely got a ton of attention and complements from men and women. Nobody dresses that well especially young men.
I'm trying to up my style game. I got asked by a friend today if I was attending a wedding after church. I told him my plan was to take a nap. ha ha
Awesome collaboration!❤
I never realised how tall Raphael is. Love that guy
I'm big fan of both of you and it's such a pleasure to me to see you both together. I hope see you guys together much more.
Watch out for it.
Sven , a true gentlmen and very classy !
Indeed :)
I love to see Mr. Sven Raphael Schneider out in the wild!
Quite a useful video cause at the place where I live some people don’t even know what a suit is?
Rafael Schneider laughing has 100% meme potential!

Love both of you!
Should suit trousers have one rear pocket or two?
Two distinguish gents a great video tons of informative and indeed helpful advice thanks to you both!
Oh my God, you two are some of my favorite people in the world. The video is great and to the point, and Raphael's laugh is so sweet ^_^
Thanks for being here Fenryr.

Eye Heart I have to agree with your comment. I was going to write what you wrote to hopper333 but you beat me to it.
Anthony Johnson Great minds think alike 😉

Thanks JM!

I’ve been a fan of both channels for a while now! Cool collab!
Great seeing you here TheGabrielChannel.
Two legends in one video ☺️
Most of my colleagues wear dad jeans, baggy clothes and very casual clothes. At work i dress smart casual or semi formal because i think elevate my profession and our "official" dress code is formal or semi formal.
Sadly, some guy or two always make fun of that or they have to say something about my shoes, sport jacket, ties or anything. Sometimes it is exhausting.
I hope you can give me more tips about this topic. Btw, i am school teacher.
Regards.
(I do not speak english, excuse my writing mistakes)
No problem --- do you let it affect the way you dress?
Real Men Real Style Not so much, because by dressing sharp i feel better about me and my job (Why a school teacher can not dress Iike anothers respectful professions?).
I got compliments from my female colleagues too.
I went to a conference in a suit. Few guys were making fun of me as pretentious. Jealous ;)
Ironically, the only time I don't dress out is when I'm shopping at LV, Ralph Lauren, and etc. Just because it keeps the pushy sales reps away.
I know, I do that too when i buy bugatti and richard mille😂
Pushy sales reps can be so irritating sometimes. They don't let me browse to see what I want and are constantly trying to suggest items that I don't need. Thankfully, not all sales reps are like that.
This is so important in Mexico, most of the people don't dress sharp here
it's funny. the two best you tube stylists that I have signed together ...))
Thanks for being here Skvorez1980.
Raphael's bowtie is so nice damn
I know, right?
It's available here :) www.gentlemansgazette.com/shop/accessories/bow-ties/ancient-madder-silk-bow-tie-red-buff-paisley-fort-belvedere
I bet you can't pull of the most classic outfit! The polo player/equestrian outfit. Hence it's dubbed "The Sport of Kings".
Nice to see both of you in a same video, keep it up gents
Thanks Tony! Appreciate it.
Real Men Real Style you are welcome, looking forward for more videos.
"It's going to be a good April Fool's video" I thought!
Turned out not to be a joke! 😁
Hi guys thanks for the team up video but I was wondering is there a uk based gents style guru out there I don’t know of
Real Gentlemen, Real Gazette......wait whuut?
Just kidding! Live your channels :)
Haha!
Another great video Antonio , you are the best , hats off :)
Cheers
Wear colors that work on your skintone.
