The Utkal Rising Season 01 - Chapter 03

The UTKAL RISING is a series of some songs created and enriched with high musical environment by some recording artists. The core believe of this series is to uplift and showcase our beautiful Odia Language and our culture to the musical society as well as our lovely listeners & to create interest among young generations to create more.
The idea of making such series arises from the creative artists performed in Nescafe Basement & Coke Studio and their dedication towards creating such musically enriched songs. I , Mr Tulio, the Sound Engineer and Owner of Ethereal Music Studio has decided to make such artistic creations which will create interest as well as change the musical taste of our listeners.
The biggest challenge on this project was to find out creative artists from our state who can elevate the growing concept. Then the first member added in this project was Geetishree Jena, who is very talented and pursuing her career in Hindustani Vocal (continuing PG). She was equally interested in this project and the concept of making the series begun.
We both, tried to add more members and the most talented Sudipta Das had accepted our request to became a member of this project. I previously signed up my core band members Mahadev Rout and Ritwik Mohapatra for this Project. There was a requirement of a male singer as well, and there were no such options available on that point but then Sourav Bharadwaj joined us with his god-gifted voice and unmatchable skills.
A six member's group has been created, and we started doing the compositions. We all have faced so many hurdles including the corona lockdowns and several health issues but beyond that we have managed to complete those songs, and it's now in front of you guys.
We all have created those songs to uplift our Odia Society and Community. We hope our creation will add some percentage to the culture and music Industry. Kindly, share as much as possible. We will upload a series in every year or six months, and any suggestions and advices are always welcomed by us.
