- For Fall-Winter 2010/2011, John Galliano was inspired by nature & exotic flowers, as well as Mr. Dior's love of gardening. Part of Galliano's research for this collection involved studying real flowers. Galliano, for instance, spent an hour watching the light change on a parrot tulip. "The fronding, the feathering, the ruching, the ruffling-all duplicated the extraordinary intricacies of flowers."

If john still in Dior, the show would be so much exciting to watch today, just look those mask he put on the model, who can imagine that 10 years after everyone needs them.
This was over 10 years ago and would still be so strong if it walked down the runway today.

Exactly! when Maria Grazia was announced as the director of Dior people were saying Oh no, she's not gonna be as good as Raf :( ...Um, no. Dior hasn't been good since Galliano left and that's a fact, it doesn't matter if it's Raf, Maria Grazia or the ateliers doing the collections, they'll never give Dior the power, the art and the magic that Gallino gave...and that's basically cause since he left Dior is H&M now. lol

I actually really like Raf's Dior. It's very close to Monsieur Dior's "The new look" and for me it's the most beautiful, sophisticated and feminine thing! Galliano's Dior is theatrical and daring, I like the Haute Couture but not RTW. Anw, need to agree that Maria's Dior is ridiculous, it's like for 15 years old kid or something..
