- Having lived in Kenya for 2 years, we made the decision to leave at Christmas and weren't sure if we'd ever be back again.
Well a mere 2 months later Kenya's magic pulled us back in for a whirlwind tour that starts with Maasai Mara. One of our favourite parks.
Come on a very tired journey with us from the UK to Maasai Mara in 24 hours!

Man, i would love to visit... my family on my dads side originates from Kenya. My dad was also born there. They moved here to South Africa in the 60s when my dad was but 5 years old. Lovely video. Really makes me want to go there. Hope you guys have a fantastic time.
If you have the opportunity, we highly recommend it. The only down side is you may find it hard to leave once you start seeing deeper below the surface and building a connection to the country and the people 😊

British national, born in Kenya, during colonial times. My parents were cattle farmers, in The highlands of Kenya.Started flying as a pilot, tourists, out of Wilson to the Mara. Kenya has a certain, energy that you can’t explain. Joined the Airlines, now retired in Northern Thailand. Most white Kenyans left after independence. So nice to see Kenya, I felt really homesick, locals really friendly. Thanks for a great video. Capt CHRIS.

My partner and I went to Kenya 4 years ago . We chose to visit Amboseli ( We want to see Kilimanjaro). It was breathtaking and our guide was amazing . We were lucky that we could see the mountain in full . then we spent another week in Tanzania and Zanzibar. I wish I could go back travelling Africa . From Thailand

We actually asked this on our vlog some time back and the consensus was that they are pretty much the same except Mahamri is Coastal and Mandazi is from inland.
I'd love to know the difference if you know as we've always wondered

@@WhereNextFamily Okay, I don’t know if some Maasais still hold on to these traditions, but back in the days, that spear was used for another purpose. A man/neighbor, could come into your home, and if he finds you are not there, he will put that spear at the doorstep just like how they showed you, then get into your manyatta and quench his ‘thirst’ with your wife. And accidentally if you happen to come when he is still in there, Once you see the spear you won’t go inside. You will wait until they are done! I know Maasais are going to kill me if they come across this comment! 😝
