@@1lure2fish I’ve done really well dipping the cut bait in Jello for them. Caught them on sweet corn on the carp rig too! If you’ve never gone for carp, they are a lot of fight!!
Yeah pretty much anything for the cut bait. What have you been using for the carp? The hair rig in this video th-cam.com/video/4DNrBqqHeOQ/w-d-xo.html is what we started catching them on. I just add it to the bottom of our top and bottom rig. That’s what we caught the one on in this video too. I’ve only been able to get them between 5:30-7:30 pm for some reason. Starting late April- October. The bite was tough when it got really hot though. Took us a year of trying to figure them out. One of my favorite fish to catch. They all fight different but reminds me of a bass fight.

Not much unfortunately. I’m trying to get back to the ocean for some blackfish. They move in close to shore when it’s cold. Never targeted them before but definitely on the list. I’ve hit the lake a couple time but the bite is basically dead. We’ll catch one or two small ones but not much worth making a video about. I have so much saved footage from last year I can at least keep the channel going. March is when things start happening here again
