Gallery 1516: Reviving Art Appreciation in Historic Downtown Omaha

Gallery 1516 stands to uplift Nebraska and Regional artists. Located on 15th and Leavenworth, the gallery was acquired in 2000 by Director Patrick Drickey who fully remodeled the space in 2015 to what it is today. In collaboration with Deputy Director Sara Bihlmaier, the gallery has revived a number of programs and exhibitions, such as the Nebraska Biennial and “Bagels and Sometimes Bach,” formerly held by the Joslyn Art Museum.
