That looked like a great adventure mate! How did you find the ergonomics of the vagabond marimba? I have been looking at it but have converns regarding the seat. Mainly the lack of back support is an issue for me. Any comments?
Hi Andreas. The Marimba was comfortable and in theory one should lean forward when paddling - particularly in moving water. Can check with Vagabond as I recall a backrest can be added as an extra, but it is a personal preference. The Marimba also managed to carry a lot of gear - just take care it doesn't vanish into hull. Can also check with local dealer if they can arrange a trial paddle (that isn't the same as a long trip but I have been happy with the purchase - both Marimba's were new). Cheers George
