On a related note, Dami has been working all year her solo debut (much as "Paradise" was Siyeon's solo debut), writing lyrics and working with LEEZ & Ollounder as their schedule allows. During Dystopia promotions the members had an interview in which they were asked about Siyeon's solo and if anyone else was interested in putting out solo songs; JiU answered that they ALL wanted to move beyond just doing covers, and in a meeting with Happyface management last year they worked out plans for making that happen. Siyeon and Dami would be first, with releases in between or in advance of Dreamcatcher comebacks (Dami actually already did a solo song that she wrote herself but it was too short to be put out as an actual release: th-cam.com/video/KYnJFfeXeGI/w-d-xo.html ) . Of course, this year has been - unpredictable - and the pandemic, Handong's unknown availability, the Girl Cafe Gun soundtrack, and the online concert shifted priorities around somewhat. Dami has continued to work, and it seems like she might have enough material for a mini-album rather than just a single - just no word yet on when it might be released. Beyond that, the intention was for Yoohyeon to have her solo debut next, but if the first half of 2020 taught us anything it's that plans can change. But the members definitely want to stretch themselves beyond what they have shown us so far, and have their company's support to do so.
Apart from being a vocal chef's kiss and a opportunity for the vocal line to snatch this song for themselves, Jazz Bar specifically plays the role of showing off Dami's personality when it comes to music and composition. She has the most Jazzy part in the song and to top that off she decides that making her singing tone even more Jazzy would be fun experiment(pls correct me if I got smthin wrong:-p), and she does it flawlessly 😎😍 God, Dami is talented.

Dreamcatcher has 7 singers, 7 dancers, 7 visuals, 7 rappers this last is not a joke, Dami, Gahyeon, Sua have the official position of rappers, but Yoohyeon has done little parts in 2 covers, Handong in "come a come" cover. Siyeon has rapped in some songs while playing around in lives and she has the ability, the only who hasn't show us something is Jiu, but knowing Dreamcatcher we can guess that if she want can do it.
I believe this is one of the few songs with the actual word “love” in the lyrics (Full Moon and I Miss You are the others I can recall) and also with a romantic theme, when compared to other gg songs that always talk about love and romance hehe Um, yeah, there really isn’t much to say that hasn’t already been said. I was so happy when I heard this song. I just never expected Dreamcatcher to do anything like this when I first heard it, but they just did! Weird you didn't choose a live version for this. So you have reacted to almost all Dystopia, just missing: Intro, tension, daybreak, over the sky, fullmoon this last 2 have specials clips, outro , scream instrumental and Paradise(Siyeon solo song) this one has 4 special clips, one of those is a piano version more slow. And Dami, I can talk about her all day, Dystopia album is HER album, she stood up in all the songs and each part is different, nobody can say she sounds the same in the preview song, I mean she goes from the rap of Red Sun to the Black of White to a Jazz vibe and sing in Daybreak.

I guess from their training days they all trained to be able to sing and at least rap a little bit but obviously Dami has the best natural flow so thus main rapper goes to her. She has great vocals as well. As others have said "And There Was No One Left" is another showcase of her vocals but do also love her singing/raps in the ballads as well.
