I liked it to a point (pun intended) but definitely thought it could've been better with the pacing and focusing more on central characters. I binged it in one night and I felt a little exhausted/frustrated after absorbing it all to be honest lol! It felt like a combination of Evangelion, shinG, ghost in the shell, digimon, and Goji planet of the monsters haha. I am looking forward to a season 2 though

In my opinion or maybe it's because I'm biased but I thought they made a great build up to Godzilla's reveal. And they made more interesting by explaining all of the science and Ashihara's work. But yeah the plot is pretty confusing in the beginning and JJ's "character arc" was also good.
