Love Darwin....my daughter moves to Adelaide in Feb 🥶 Which means I need to leave Scotland on winter to get heat in Adelaide then return to winter back here....don't fancy it🥶🥶
Kapan bisa ke darwin australia lagi ya dah 7 kali ke sini tapi tfk pernah bosan biarpun kota kecil tapi sangat sejuk. Semenjak covid blm bisa ke darwin kangen sama kakakku di darwin
if you enjoy lightning storms DARWIN is where, you should visit just pick your time i ?saw spe ctaculr display the museum worth visit plus jumping crocs tour
If you think the city looks deserted in this vid, wait till the build up starts in September. I swear there were more pedestrians in town at the height of the pandemic than in those 3-4 hideous months of heat and humidity. On the plus side, we have very little traffic outside a small peak hour window.
I'd love to visit Darwin, especially the military aviation museum, B52 FTW. However I've heard there's a lot of personal crime and you can get harassed by drunk locals, even in the CBD. How true is this, at least in the CBD. I know to avoid areas north of the airport, such as Karama, etc. What's the best way to get around for a tourist?
Don't believe in bs My daughter lives there and I've been to Darwin about 6 or 7 times and have never encountered any trouble My favorite place is the area you mentioned and and I haven't had any problems . Like one of the comments said it's the best place in the world ❤
@@judefernandez827 thanks for that. Sounds a bit like SW Sydney, I lived much of my adult life in SW Sydney, and as long as you avoid the bad spots, you'll have no trouble. Yeah you may get the odd yahoo shouting and doing silly things, but they usually keep to themselves, and they've never bothered me really. Now to work out decent, affordable accommodation and airfare from Sydney.
@@arokh72 by the way one of my favorite military aircraft is the mighty BUFF and I made sure I visited the museum just to get up and close to it and went back for a second visit . There are only two places in the world outside of the US where the B-52 is on display and Darwin is one of them .it's an experience to see this plane close up . Hope you can move there soon.
That’s why Darwin is the most laid back city in Australia mate . If it was bloody Melbourne or Sydney they’ll call the cops or write a letter to the council 😂
I’m a Brisbaneite and have always wanted to visit the NT. I lived with an international couple a few years back here who had a neo mastiff that I adored and was sad when I parted ways on bad terms with her owners- I was worried for her health and safety as they were quite irresponsible with her and not nice people to me either. They went travelling around after that and had relocated to Darwin I recently discovered- the worst place for a mastiff that doesn’t do well in the heat and accelerates the many health issues their breed is known for. I discovered three days ago that she passed away in March in Darwin and have been beside myself with guilt and missing her. At some point I’d like to take a short holiday there just to see the place where she spent her last few years, see the things she did and see if I can feel her presence around. It seems like a good incentive to finally go for a few days in the near future. RIP Hippo- I loved you from afar and never forgot you. I will make you peanut butter ice cream again with cuddles some day. 🦮🕊💔😔
Darwin, my love, my place, my tropical paradise 😍 Darwin is so good, friendly people, smiling, peaceful❤️

What a dead looking part of the world. So empty.
Not a safe place
All in all its pretty much safe, if you are bit careful.
