I can imagine The Chosen One driving the Highwayman from the Den screaming "WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!" with tears in his eyes as the Den inhabitants watch in awe and confusion at the sight of the car, and the rest is just scenes of the chosen driving it. As the music fades and the scene fade, we hear the Chosen Ones voice "probably one of the greatest things I did during my lifetime."

Nowadays you got triple A games that look magnificent but are so full of bugs that audio/visual quality is no longer relevant for an awesome experience and people just stopped caring, reusing stock resources or letting AI generate stuff. Teutonic Knight Oh please, for a franchise reboot, Fallout 3 is one of the least offensive in gaming history. You are confirming that Fallout fans are some of the bitchiest people on the planet. You got a reboot that not only stayed true to the original in a lot of core areas, but gave us a sequel, NV that is entirely the sequel we always wanted. NV has no place in the market of today and it would not exist if it weren't for Fallout 3, NV is one of those games that gives me hope for the games industry despite all of the preorder bonuses and DLC crap that the industry is currently stuck in.

@ Far Harbor and them bringing back classic dialogue options in wastelanders gives me hope for future installments. Bethesda game studios is not bad, it is the higher ups at Zenimax that responsible for fallout 76 and all the egregious business practices.
I just got the car (Played through this game a couple years ago, but never got it) and was driving to Broken Hills. When I got there, I found a ghoul lying on the ground, right in front of the car. Luckily, I helped him up and he was on his way. Hopefully he won't get hurt again.
We were somewhere between the Hub and Primm, getting close to Mojave Outpost, on the edge of the Mojave Wasteland, when the chems started to take hold. “I feel a little woozy, maybe you should drive…”. And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge orange-winged wasps, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the top down to New Vegas.

Jackallity They'll have to make the map significantly bigger and more accessible to vehicles (which Fallout 4 and 3 were not, at all, and, open as it was, New Vegas was too small to justify the use of a car).
Tfw I finally get the Chrysalis Highwayman and drive across the wasteland with it, only to realise that I forgot to tell Smitty to install the fuel cell regulator.
There's also nothing stopping anyone from scavenging working parts or even making new electronics except for infrastructure and expertise, which in some places in the Wasteland might be advanced enough to allow for small-scale production of working electronics. Additionally, it's possible to harden infrastructure against EMP; we just haven't done so in the real world. In the paranoid pre-War world of Fallout, it wouldn't be surprising if many areas WERE hardened.
And before I forget: Bethesda, if you're trying to make the Fallout 76 map bigger, might I suggest the adding of cars into the game you can fix up? I mean, you can get ICBMs running so it's not that big of a stretch...
Exactly, energy can be converted into a type of fuel. Electrical... or even thermal. And how do old-style cars run? Combustion. A spark ignites the fuel and the heat gives the power. But if you use fusion to create the heat, rather than a spark and gas, then there's no need for any electricity at all.

There's also nothing stopping anyone from scavenging working parts or even making new electronics except for infrastructure and expertise, which in some places in the Wasteland might be advanced enough to allow for small-scale production of working electronics.
Additionally, it's possible to harden infrastructure against EMP; we just haven't done so in the real world. In the paranoid pre-War world of Fallout, it wouldn't be surprising if many areas WERE hardened.

And before I forget: Bethesda, if you're trying to make the Fallout 76 map bigger, might I suggest the adding of cars into the game you can fix up? I mean, you can get ICBMs running so it's not that big of a stretch...

I played Fallout 2 time and time again, but i never heard this theme before.
Exactly, energy can be converted into a type of fuel. Electrical... or even thermal. And how do old-style cars run? Combustion. A spark ignites the fuel and the heat gives the power.
But if you use fusion to create the heat, rather than a spark and gas, then there's no need for any electricity at all.

spigotsandcogs this can pass. I can't believe all the hate Fallout 3 gets. Sure, it lacks in many areas the original Fallout charm but in its own right it still is a Fallout game which is also responsible for sucessfull revival of the series.
