Kaweka Sika hunt, high country sika deer

On this hunt Chad,Zane and I catch a ride into the Kaweka's with Chris from East Kaweka Helicopters. The goal for this trip was to glass the tops and hopefully get Chad lined up on his first sika deer but after a couple of days glassing with bugger all results we all split up and start bush stalking with hopes of getting on on the ground. sit back relax and enjoy the hunt..

What a top notch video brother, good to see East Kaweka Choppers taking you to a place that, although it took till day 3 to seek reward. The beers at the end would of tasted that much sweeter, as well as them barely touching the sides. Beautiful looking animal you cracked during that patient wait on the bush stalk. Great section of land at the end there to hunt by the looks of it too.

Good stuff bro, love that spot, better hunting towards the biv but the scenery around the hut is biblically good!!
Was there for a week in Jan and it was crazy hot!
