I introduced The Bass Gang to my little sister, and she LOVES this one! (Same with Emperor's New Clothes) Stellar reaction and analysis as usual, Peter!
Bruh... I was torn, because I've lost count of how many features of this song Lauren has had, between Bass Gang, Voice Play, I think even Bobby has his own cover with her...
But each one has been AMAZING and different. The ending this one, where Lauren is tripled, one whisper, one regular melody, then one the "siren octave"... Creepy as hell.
Dude, plus that Dubstep type breakdown... Marwan's arrangements are some of my favorites coming out right now. I think the internet would break if/when Bass Gang is able to have a video where you are all physically together.
6:00 my thoughts exactly, first time I saw the video I had the same excitement and I think I commented that Marwan hit a note so low it plane shifted everyone into the upside down.

I also sing along with Peter at the operatic parts (though my singing isn't remotely what you'd call operatic, or even good) at stoplights, earning myself several odd stares from other drivers. 😆

I’m obsessed with this song! I first heard Lauren and Bobby duetting this on TikTok and fell in love with the contrast between her ethereal soprano and his deep, dark bass. I wanted more, and man! Did you guy deliver! Thank you!! I had to share with my first born daughter-she’s a Halloween baby! Such a perfect song!!!
I had heard Lauren sing it in the stairwell, then when I saw that VoicePlay had done it. Now The Bass Gang. Making this the Perfect Spooky month.
If you guys were aiming for a creepy feeling, you nailed it. Especially with Lauren's incredible voice.

This is very wel done! Marwan did an amazing arrangement!! You all made it sounds so great and creepy!! I loved it!!
The editing reminded me (in some parts) of the stuff Terry Gilliam used to do for Monty Python, the "paper-doll cut-out" that moved about the screen without actually "moving." It was startling at first, then it just made me grin. Nice arrangement - quite different (while still the same basic song) from the Voicaloid version, or VoicePlay's version - or even Lauren's stairwell version. Kudos.

Gosh, none of you blink your eyes through out the whole song (except once by Peter, hahaha finally realize Peter is human), that is creepy and I had goosepumps throughout the song.

This version is extremely creepy/eerie but I have to say, that wee scene during "I can hear your footsteps" reminded me so much of "sneaking around" moments in 3 Stooges or Abbott & Costello movies, especially their horror movie parodies.... 😁
Dude, this song was great. Is Lauren Paley an alto/mezzo? She seems to sound better when she sings lower in the song, right when bobby's solo comes in. Its harder to tell since its in a studio
Please react to Daneliya Tuleshova's blind audition at The Voice Kids of Ukraine (she sings "Stone Cold")… I know that she's not a low register singer, but I think her voice is incredible, especially taking into account that she was 10 at the time of that show. And as I commented on the Diana Ankudinova's reaction video, you make very good analyses of voices etc.
After that, you could also react to her rendition of "Rise Up" at the knockouts (in the same The Voice edition).
