- From the archives. Our first performance of Kirby Shaw's Bridge. Solos by Mark Macanas and Racella DeGuia. We later cleaned up some phrasings, but this first time was all heart. A great group of singers that year.

the first soloist was fantastic, the second soloist blew me away, jeeez.
I feel the same way every time I watch!
Props to the soloists! They’re not afraid to really feel the music and to show it

Just sung this at the MVC festival and its been in my head all day
at my school all 5 of our choirs are singing this together for our seniors at our next chorus concert.
This is practically the theme song of my chorale..,. We all love the tune and message, we've sung it at concerts, graduation, disneyworld, & everywhere in between- I needed to hear it tonight missing my own chorale and this version brought me right back :) absolutely love your soloists and everyone's spirit and enthusiasm!!
I honest to God thought this was a collegiate choir... fantastic talent displayed! Go Mr. G!
This is such a beautiful rendition of the song! I sang this song in high school and hearing this brings back so many good memories! The soloists have such amazing voices! Also, much credit to the director of this choir!

You were the spirit of the choir - look at you belting it out in the front! That was a special song and group
Mr. G
YES! I love the choral version of this song. Brings me back to my high school choir days. Beautifully performed
those soloists really carried us on that one. our challenge was getting everyone committed to the same level as the soloists. I'm sure you'll give 'em a strong, honest performance! Good luck, let us know how it goes
It went amazingly well.
Like you said in the description, it was all heart. This slower version is much better than some I've seen and performed. Loved it! And the soloists were to die for! THIS is why people love choir. Thank you so much!
The music arragement is great and the involve choir did a great job. All is very eell done

I'm a middle school choral director in North Carolina, and I am SO impressed with your tone quality, intonation, and expressiveness. As you can see, quite a few groups have posted this song, but yours is the best I've heard!
i love the gowns
I don't want to curse. But damn.. that sounded good.
That's a good curse! Thanks
If you don't want to curse then why did you?
glad you liked it. It's a fun arrangement that sings itself! Enjoy performing it!
my choir (Sequim High School) just so happens to be singing this song, but idk if the tenor section will be nearly as strong as we only have 6 people and 3 of them are rather timid
Elijah Groves no worries, the song practically sings itself

Incredible. I'm afraid the microphones did the singers no justice. :( But I loved it. I I've done this piece before. It's just so powerful.
Honest tears in my eyes
Me, too

Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the positive feedback!
@minifmstatic hmm.., there are a lot of dotted quarter rhythms throughout; maybe you want them clearly defined by percussion, which we've done more recently with cajon and guitars
