there are lots of meanings in the word 별. Among them, one is 'star' and one is 'strange, weird'. so i think what nmixx is trying to say and show through the mv is, 'you say im weird, i am weird, i dont mind, that cannot hold me down, so imma go higher, be honest with yourself.i'll help you get there' these kind of vibe. I love the album soooo much

Bae and Sullyoon were just incredible! It was in this comeback that I think they really showed off. Especially Bae, her unique tone shouldn't go unnoticed.

Yeah!! I agree with you that this is one of the most chaotic from all of their songs! there a lot is going on, at first I feel like there's multiple change up bcs of that "mmhhh" part, so I need to listen to the song immediately 🤣 then I know that it's actually a normal change up with new "change up" phrase, and the transition is soo settle. one thing about nmixx, you can't expect what will you get 🤣👍 that will always be surprising.

3:33 this part right here is like (idk whats it called) where it sounds like "weirdo" although the lyrics says "wiro deo" which means go up high and its just so cool to notice that

Greetings! And thank you for this reaction to NMIXX!!
Here's some stuff I noticed in this music video (so far!), if you're interested!
At 2:32, they walk past a phone booth, with posters titled "DON'T CHASE, ATTRACT" pasted in the back of it. That's a line used on one of their first promotional poster for "Fe3O4: Stick Out".
At 2:33, following these, there's a poster on the wall in the background titled "CHILL DUDE, CHILL" and a subtitle "TOmoRowW", with a young kid on it. It's the same font and layout as the previous posters. At the very end of the music video, behind Sullyoon, we can see that line in totality, and it reads "I DON'T wanT to gO to Work" and under it "TOmoRowWW.PACKTHEEUGGAG". Interesting but not sure about that one.
The aluminum can they open at 2:37 has a star spray painted on it!
In the white room where you can see "STICK OUT" written on the back, there's also several black shapes on the other walls. As far as I can tell, these are images of a Cupid (with wings and a bow-and-arrow).
At 2:54, we see Kyujin playing with an earphone cord. That cord gets swiped by Bae in the following scene, and that's a good thing because if you pay close attention to Bae's turquoise top, you can actually see that its held by straps that are actually earphone cords!
What Bae fishes out of the sewer manhole is a brick, that she then throws for the brick to "break the wall", but then that brick changes into a star (the same star that was in the "Fe3O4: Stick Out" Motion Poster, and the one we see Sullyoon takes out of Haewon later in the MV). That star then turns into a stemless cherry (the same that the arrow impales in the "arrow room", later on) before finally transforming into a... screwdriver, that Haewon then catches. What a journey!
At 3:17, we see a truck and while we are supposed to focus on Haewon's face on it sticking her tongue with a star on it, don't forget to check out the licence plate! It reads "NM 220301", which actually the date of their "Debut Showcase: New Frontier"! Also, one of the bottom left package is addressed to "JIWOO" :)
What's flying in front of Bae while she looks at the window seems to be that aluminum can with a star painted on it, from earlier in the video! Why? Why not, I say :) It does seem to shatter into metallic shards, in the very last frame we see it flying.
We eventually see Lily still "breaking walls" (or rather, floors?) with her jackhammer. Then... hmm... Bae's hand seems to reach pass through a pile of rubble? Then she mimicks putting something in her mouth? Then her hand high-five Haewon? Then it's passing through a wall to make hearts with Kyujin? ...?
Nothing from the "change-up" scenes, nor the following one (except to notice that it's not scribbles on the walls, it's black strands sprouting from the walls).
The arrow you noticed in the "arrow room" in this video are indeed the same that Haewon had in the "Out Simulation" video! In that video, as in this one, each arrow impales a cherry!
Now in my (now deleted somehow?) comment that I left on of your previous videos (the one where you reacted to the "Rubber Ball Swag", "Exploring fundamental fear" and "SICKUHH" Visualizer), I was telling you about one lore element that was shown during "Rubber Ball Swag" that you didn't know about. That being the flock of birds! I'll copy/paste what I wrote then:
"At the midpoint, we see a repeated lore element! That being a flock of birds. The girls even point at it, before running inside (to dance!). That flock of bird imagery was first seen in a video, just before their debut date, in their "Debut Trailer" video. Since you liked me linking you directly to it last time, here you go! th-cam.com/video/nvwIVPtD5fI/w-d-xo.html. This flock of bird imagery was also seen two more times, more recently, and all in their "Fe3O4" era. The first time was in their "Sense Break Awake" video, after Bae jumps in the pool (th-cam.com/video/ynurV4dE9z4/w-d-xo.html) and then again at the very end of the "Fe3O4: Declaration" video (th-cam.com/video/oRd5E2eqDOE/w-d-xo.html). (EDIT: I checked, and there's also birds constantly flying around in the "Change Up" part of the "DASH" music video, for what its worth). Also, Lily have a flock of birds flying around her in her photoshoot scene pictures, for the "Nephelomancy version". Lastly, there's a flock of birds in the "SICKUHH" Visualizer, when Lily is onscreen in her "room" (th-cam.com/video/auLcAboA-eE/w-d-xo.html). Now, the context for these birds aren't really well-defined; in their debut trailer, they might just have been cool imagery for Sullyoon's scene. In "Sense Break Awake", they don't really serve any purpose related to Bae, or NMIXX. But in "Fe3O4: Declaration", there's a line of dialogue beforehand stating "No matter how many times we fall and stumble, we shall fly high into the sky". So, maybe it's hopeful, somehow? Anyway, to be determined :)"
I'm just saying that because we do see a room with a flock of birds motif at 4:53, just after we see the members flying in the air like birds; and that fits that last line from the "Fe3O4: Declaration" video! (EDIT: just noticed at 4:37, we can see shadows on the ground around Bae and these are from the girls flying in the air!).
At 5:10, we see a Coca-Cola machine on the right. Since we see some in "O.O", should we now consider Coke as NMIXX lore cannon? :)
Finally, at 15:11, you asked what was written on the panel on the left of the screen. I admit it was hard to read (one of the reason being that the text is marked over by an "X"). There are 4 panels, and they read "THAT'S" "THE" "* * *" "STEREOTYPE" (with "stereotype" hashed out). Bae sings at the beginning "Who cares, not your stereotype" and it would make sense that's a reference to that lyric.
As for the song itself, I like all the different parts of it; my only personal hang-up is that, compared to "DASH" for example, there aren't any hook or chorus line in English, making it difficult for me to sing along (or even easily remember!) the Korean lyrics. In "DASH", it's easy to sing "Dash, I wanna dash" but here... I don't know, hopefully it'll get better with time :)
    Anyway, have a great day!!

In the switch up, Bae sang about frogs which is actually an inaccurate translation because she sang about green frogs which is a korean folktale about a frog that doesn't listen. The lesson of that story is to listen to your parents but in that story, the mother wondered about why her frog isn't the same as the other frogs which I found pretty cool and funny because nmixx is accepting the individuality of the frog being different from others (the whole meaning of stick out) but also the frog was a troublemaker. 😂
