@@atreidesN it was a 10 minute test drive in a thunderstorm so hard to say on the performance side of things. It didn't feel massively different to my 2021 M3P but I've got a 24hr test drive of it again tomorrow.
The seats were a LOT better. Much more support! Quieter inside as well and the suspension felt a lot nicer in standard mode and in sport, similar to the ride in my M3P.
I've ordered one, hopefully will get it at the end of July / early August.
I drove the MYP for the first time today while my RWD MY was in getting a creak fixed. Nothing can prepare you for how insanely fast these things are

From the looks of it, the 460hp Highland Performance should outperform the old Panasonic 510hp Performance (US built cars in the UK) to the 1/4 mile. Obviously the new US Highland Performance is totally different, but it seems Tesla is still improving the performance for us even with the drop in horsepower.
Tesla are absolutely ripping us off here in the UK.
The Model 3 Performance here in the UK is £59,990. In the US it’s £34,000 ($42,490).

@@NotJanine777 It's $54,000 in the US without the tax credit. Tax credit isn't Tesla giving it, it's the US government.

Owned a 2019 M3P for 37k miles and 3 years and loved it more than any car I’ve owned before.
Test drove this new one the other day and wow it gave me everything I loved from the old one, and lots of improvements, small but noticeable!
Best performance car in the market by a large margin.
This will smash it in Sal sac if Tesla can sort out their b2b sales processes!

Cleaning cloths on the floor 🤦... Gets perfect paint from the factory and then just before collection someone will drag that cloth over the paint 😞
Completely agree with the White for this version, I picked my new one up Friday and a White Performance was in front of me, and it really does highlight the wing, the new splitters and really looks spot on. All other versions, get an option colour!
Picked mine up two days ago. Absolutely incredible. A lot of money but well worth it imo.
I sat in one yesterday at a service centre and liked the seats. That one was in red, which looked amazing!

Test drove one today, love the seats, it’s quiet, comfy and insane acceleration.
Indicators are a let down but I could live with them.
Can you do a video for first time tesla model 3 owners , what to do on collection , best set up , how to use the screen , and so on.. most vids don’t show this and just show driving

6:55 Actually, it's at high speed that you start to see the difference. The new car at high speed continues to pull much more than the old one, which started to lose power at high speed.
Just been visiting Oslo. Can't believe the number of Teslas there - including lots of taxis. Hundreds of LEAFs too!
It's a very nice car for the price it costs make no mistake.

Yeah, Tesla does the UK dirty £60,000 is equivalent to $76,000, and they go for what $55,000 before a potential $7,500 rebate?
The Performance model does look way better (would look even better in red imo), but my concern was always about the ride quality compared to Long Range. Is it good enough to be a daily driver given the thinner tyres and firmer suspension? I’m so glad to hear the ride quality is good but a comparison video would be much appreciate. Perhaps see how it does with speed bumps too.
Any car, that is truly beautiful, has to be seen in white. White accentuates all of the curves subtleties.
Just chase those buttons around that roundabout.
Do you cover it in PPF right away? I did next day after delivery and after 2.5yrs and 65000 km I can say it paid off big time.
Where did you get pod from
Interesting you mentioned tyre pressures I took a long range back in march and all the tyres had flat spots because the cars had spent longer on the boat then normal due to the red sea route being closed. Tesla changes all four tyres but be interesting to hear if anyone else had had tyre pressure/ flat spot issues in the model 3 . Really can't fault the customer care though.

You poor folk in the UK certainly do get ripped off with car prices Richard. Exactly the same car in Australia (Also from the Shanghai factory) is worth $80900 which converts to 42163 UK Pounds.
Was looking forward to seeing your impressions! Could you ask CarWow to start showing SOC with electric drag races? Was definitely curious about that battery, here in the States we’re showing 2.9’s and high 10’s easily

Not sure how they would achieve it, but I beleive this car needs a lot more styling points to differentiate from the standard Model 3.
Need comments comparing suspension comfort and ride noise compared to the Highland bong range, not just the previous M3P please…
In comfort suspension it’s similar to standard highland which is pretty good. In sport it’s like the old performance 👍

They didn't make the suspension more comfortable in standard mode, missed opportunity to make it more comfortable than long/standard range variants.
It’s a bummer they’ve given the UK a weak version. Why? You’ve more experience than most with Teslas and you don’t seem as blown away as you could have been? I’ve just picked up my highland dual most after a MY. I’m very happy. Ride quality, feel and quality has jumped up a lot. I loved my Y but I already really like this. I’m sure the performance version will have hidden abilities that will become apparent on track.
It’s just such a complete car
Buy no stalks, no HUD and no LCD rear mirror kills it.

Personally don’t find fake noises in 5n appealing to me. Also new model 3 looks better.

I prefer that to flowers in the boot, a welcoming smile and an the offer of expensive service contract "discounted" of course ... and "Let me introduce you to our Service Manager, he will love to be seeing you on a regular basis. He has an assistant who will pull your trousers down each time you come into our dealership."

I ordered mine 3 days after launch and the delivery window was June and over the month and a half it has changed 5 or 6 times. Last Sunday it changed again to August 20 to September 20.
I am really getting tired of the BS primarily because my trade is getting more miles which gives Tesla the opportunity to lower the offer on my trade. As of right now if you order one it says July - August so know if you order one their delivery window means nothing. Order a 5N instead which I'm about ready to do.

I always wondered, what’s up with Tesla’s yellow wheel stickers? Don’t remember other cars have this.
Hi Richard. Looks great but how do you feel about Tesla wanting the whole money up front before you get to see the vehicle? I ordered a Y and due to that and other reasons I canceled the order. But if you get there and you’re not happy with the vehicle you can reject the vehicle but they have your money. It has taken over three months just to get my deposit back from them so do not have confidence they would give me the 60k back any time soon.

Undoubtedly a fantastic car to drive, just an utterly soulless purchasing process.
I actually looked at a Model Y and the order process was like ordering an iPhone. Deadens the joy out of the car buying process for me.

Seems the more obvious choice just from a distance perspective apart from anything else.

Shame it’s down 50bhp on the US version, and down a decent amount of torque too. And it’s half the price over there (this isn’t offset by VAT/sales taxes). We just get shafted on spec and price.
It ought to have had 600bhp+ and carbon wrapped motors at both ends.

Works out to around £38k.. How are they able to get for so much less?

Glad you like it, when i initially bought my first M3P a (21 with new turbine flow wheels) I was blown away and already had it set in my mind that I'd trade in for the next revsion M3P however decided against it when the 24 model was announced. I just didn't feel there was a enough change over the 3 year period to justify a repeat purchase.
