So glad to hear from you, I've followed for years and always loved watching all your off grid yurt content. Glad to hear that you and your family are doing well and have discovered something that better suits during this chapter of your lives. As someone who lived in a seaside town for the better part of a decade (and misses it every day) I can say they really do have a special magical charm to them that grows on you. Much love and stay radical. 💜
Nice to get an update, been years since i met you guys and saw your lifestyle. Super cool. I guess life changes and its good to embrace it rather than fight it. :-) best wishes to you and family..
We left our city & corporate lives and have been off grid in our cedar YURT on our 10 acres in the mountains of Idaho! So glad you gave the update! We raise animals and grow food along with starting entrepreneurial ventures! As a RN quitting that “system” and prioritizing health and quality of life by choosing this lifestyle has been the best decision! All the best to you and your family! ✨🫶🏻
Dear Lucy, great to hear from you❤️would be great if u kept posting here your seaside life, about places u go to, how u raise your kids, what r u up to during the week and weekends. Would love that😊All the best to the whole family.
LOVE your enthusiasm and free spirit . Keep the dream off the grid living alive! . This is important as life in NZ is about to change. I have many visions of the future in NZ, and very soon we will be all able to use flying vehicles generally converted from today's cars using a free energy source, without wings . This is when people will prefer country life over city life because of the ability to travel great distances in short time , and the love of communal life with compatible people.
Oh what a fantastic suprise to see this today... a day in which I spent power washing my own yurt and canvas wall tent. I'm starting year 4 of my yurt adventure, living in it 7.5 months (Fall, winter, and spring) in North Carolina. Before buying my yurt, I watched you on this channel and got lots of ideas. I'll always be grateful for the confidence you helped me gain to go for it and do this lifestyle. It has allowed me to spend part of the year on property with my sister's family and part of the year in Vermont with my brother's family and my parents. It has been hard, precious, informative, fascinating, weird, and even pretty awful when I broke my foot and couldn't walk or drive for 3 months in the winter. I ❤ my Yurta brand yurt. When I live in a house in the summer, I miss how close to nature I feel experiencing life in the yurt. I But I know that my time in the yurt is likely coming to a close in another year or two. It is so fun to hear about your current situation and to ponder my own next steps.
No your baby can't be 14 already omg! Well I'm saying that but mine are teens too now. I started following you a long time ago when I was homeschooling and was working full time on my farm as well. Live does change and do what works for you at that point in time :) that's beautiful! Very happy to hear from you after all this time!
Thanks for the update! I have often wondered where you disappeared to. I always loved your videos.😊❤️ I am glad you and your family are doing well. I limit my social media and I don’t do instagram. I’ll see you on TH-cam if you ever post again. Bye👋
It’s so funny how about a week before you posted I thought about your channel and wondered what you’ve been up to, but for the life of me I wouldn’t be able to remember the channel name 😂 and then the video popped up
I was also just thinking of you and looking up old videos to show my husband. I would love to hear of what the girls are into these days and what life looks like for you guys as an unschooling family.
Hi Lucy! So amazing to see your update. I used to love your videos! Would love to know more about your business. Are there ways to get involved that don't involve social media? Stay radical!
Hi Lucy Slightly odd request here. I was hoping to ask you or your husband a couple questions about the rocket stove hot tub you and your partner built years back. For some reason I couldn't post a comment in that page, and I guessed you would possibly respond here as this video is much more recent. How to hear from you soon, and it was awesome seeing your face again! Glad the family is doing well!
I was curious if over the time you used it, you noticed any design flaws that you would change if you built it again. I'm in the process of making one very similar to the one y'all made. I think the ratio of the opening where you feed the wood to the chimney was to large, so I'm planning on building a smaller opening to feed the wood through. Another question I had was about how hot the chimney got. Was it scorching hot? I was curious if over is the could would be better of placed in the chimney. Was there any unexpected maintenance you had to do to the copper fittings or anything? I appreciate your time! Hope all is well!
I think what it is with your content is your wholesomeness and your fresh insights. I know your focus is on your business course but maybe this platform is still thriving for future content/courses from you. Or Maybe just change the name of this channel to the other channel. Just my two cents🙂
I used to watch you years ago. It's fun to get an update.
I was so surprised to get on today and see that you has posted a video a few days ago. Its been so long! Glad you are all doing well.

Yes please ask away - although are comments open on it now?

I wish your video gets millions of views because you have great content. Try running ads for your channel using some kind of system.
I can't find your other channel.
Here it is! th-cam.com/users/LucyatLifeWithoutSchoolvideos Still very dormant but not quite as dormant as this one! haha.
Where you been??? Hi!
I've been busy surfing!

Lovely to hear your thoughts. I had to really compost this channel. It might be ready to be something else! Who knows, I am open to the flow!
@@LulasticHippyshake lol compost...hopefully it can grow some goodies:-)
