Wonderful singing ,great dulcimer playing and such a catchy song. Thoroughly enjoyed it. 20,18,16,14,12,10,08,06,04,02,, none will be rattling round my head all day!
Had the Priviledge of seeing Aubrey perform this, as a special request, at the August Dulcimer Daze in West Dover/Wilmington Vermont and is awesome here, but so very special to see her in person. Awesome. Also took one of her workshops, equally amazing.
MY word. Lovely voice, magical performance. You are also quite the teacher. I have been listening to you every day after work this week. Your voice relaxes me.
As I was walking through Dublin City about the hour of twelve at night, it was there I spied a fair pretty maiden, washing her feet by candlelight. First she washed them, then she dried them over fire of amber coals and in all my life, I never did meet a maid so neat about the soles. She had 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, none. She had 19, 17, 15, 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 3, and 1. I stopped to watch but the watchman passed. He said, "Hey, young fella, now the night is late, and away with ye home, or I will wrestle you straight away to the Bridewell Gates." I got a look from the Spanish Lady hot as a fire of amber coals and in all my life, I never did meet a maid so neat about the soles. She had 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, none. She had 19, 17, 15, 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 3, and 1. As I walked back through Dublin City as the dawn of day loomed near, who should I spy but the Spanish Lady when I was weary and footsore? She had a way so filled with loving and her love, she longed to share and in all my life, I never did meet a maid who had so much to spare. She had 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, none. She had 19, 17, 15, 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 3, and 1. I've traveled north and I traveled south to Stony Barter and Patrick's close, up and around, by the Gloucester Diamond and back by Napper Tandy's house. Old age has laid her hands upon me, cold as a fire of ashy coals, but gone is the lovely Spanish lady neat and sweet about the soul. Round and round goes the wheel of fortune, where it rests now wearies me. The fair young maids are so deceiving sad experience teaches me. 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, none. She had 19, 17, 15, 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 3, and 1. She had 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, none. She had 19, 17, 15, 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 3, and 1.
This reminds me of Bedtime Math, a free app to enjoy math! Playing a musical instrument also improves math for people. There is a nonprofit called Autoharp Angels that gives free autoharps to people who apply from donated autoharps. Is there a group that does that with dulcimers or banjos? I have been visiting churches because with an autoharp, people who cannot afford lessons can play right off the bat if they can read the ABCs. You have a pretty voice Aubrey and play right well.
@@deanconway8776 I mention math more than once. The title of the app has no “s” and of course there are maths. You understood me and the info (information) is perhaps much more important than an “s. . . .”
Beautiful song and beautiful lady singing so pretty, I play this over and over..love it and you..God Bless you and yours

You have a lovely voice!
You have a beautiful tone to your voice
Really enjoyed hearing Aubrey perform this at the Menucha dulcimer festival this year!
Girl, you can sing!
wonderful
Your a really good singer!!!
Nailed it.
Very nice thank you
Beautiful 👍👏👏🦹♂️
Very nice.
Great voice and playing! My wife Susan is expert on dulcimer.
Very nice and free. I don't understand the counting, but that is a shortcoming on my part. I loved it!
It dawned on me! She substitutes the counting for the usual nonsense chorus. I get it!!!
You are very talented!
Ah,great!
Dont know what the lyrics meant. But it was a happy little song. And a very nice vocal part.
I’m convinced that Ms. Atwater is a siren and if I am to hear her perform live again I will first need to be lashed to a nearby mast.
Very beautiful playing and singing. Can anyone tell me what the numbers mean? Is it something to teach her playing?
She just changed the lyrics to numbers so everyone could easily sing along
I need to demonstrate my ignorance here by asking if the numbers she's singing are the ages of the children of the Spanish lady?
Beautiful voice and performance but what are these figures?
is that Windsor ON CAN ?
Windsor, CT USA
4 lost souls are probably british
