I don’t think it’s the intention to purposely keep us dumb, it’s more of the fact that ignorant music sells more. Why would a music executive stop the money train and put out deep meaningful music when it doesn’t sell as much.
They will push anything that sells imo. Public Enemy NEVER got radio play even in the golden era and sold millions. All type of rap have a lane but it's being able to market that to an audience that will receive it and continue to want to buy into it. Now some people miss out on the gravy train and don't get the push, but that's the politics because when their is a finite amount of marketing dollars, everybody ain't getting the same push equally. Artist have to figure what works best for them and how to market themselves best.
You completely wrong. The music Industry is controlled by the government and CIA they know exactly what they doing, what messages they wanna send, what they want us to hear and what they want us to be influenced by it’s all for profit and population control
