Got like cage immediately after the downgrade and man I’ve been enjoying the hazmat deck only issue not enough power push and if you don’t have luke cage or hazmat no real way to win
Without magic/debri/gambit/iron/doom, i have replaced them with black widow, a hood-viper combo, and a wave-sera combo. But it's feel so situational, and easily counterable from a cosmo/enchantress or a move-card like magneto-aero. However when it works it's so satisfying, knowing that your opponent is propably smashing their screen.
I used to play something similar, I ran Invisible Woman to hide the combo. The only problem was if the opponent has Cosmo they'll just play it in the same location.
Although I love the deck and it's a lot of fun to play it's really not one that wins a lot as it's very easy to counter. All of these cards will ruin your combo: rogue, enchantress, Spiderman, Cosmo, aero, magneto, juggernaut, Polaris (pulling cage into Wong's location, Dracula (power set at end of game), leech, shuri (into 30+ power red skulls are hard to beat), storm/rhino/scarlet witch/reality stone if you created limbo, having priority going into the final turn, and not drawing key cards by the necessary turn to play them. Also it's hard to get 8 cube wins (if the opponent is good) as your set up is quite obvious: turn 4 Wong, turn 5 mystique then hazmat, turn 6 Odin. Which means Luke cage needs to be played on turn 2 or 3 which just screams hazmat. Here's what I was running # (2) Luke Cage # (2) Hazmat # (2) Scorpion # (3) Green Goblin # (3) Ironheart # (3) Mystique # (3) Gambit # (4) Wong # (4) Absorbing Man # (5) Magik # (6) Onslaught # (6) Odin # eyJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSGF6bWF0In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJXb25nIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJPZGluIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNeXN0aXF1ZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQWJzb3JiaW5nTWFuIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNYWdpayJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiR3JlZW5Hb2JsaW4ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNjb3JwaW9uIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJMdWtlQ2FnZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiT25zbGF1Z2h0In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJHYW1iaXQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Iklyb25oZWFydCJ9XX0= # # To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and paste it from the deck editing menu in Snap. Scorpion and iron heart are flexible. Colossus is a good substitute as his power can't be reduced by hazmat, he's also great in locations like rickety bridge, altar of death and deaths domain. Debrii is a double edged sword, it gives your opponent crap but it also fill your locations which makes the full Wong combo impossible. Onslaught is there incase you have use magic to create limbo. Turn 4 Wong, 5 Magik, 6 onslaught, 7 mystique + hazmat (+ Luke cage) or gambit. Anyway, thanks for the video, they're always enjoyable to watch. I'm just waiting for the super rare hazmat to turn up in my shop.
The alternative is another deck, unfortunately. I mean, you remove luke and hazmat and you have a classic on reveal. Then you add 2 cards that you think might help you, and that's all
There are some decks you can play without many pool 3 cards (Destruction, Discard, classic on reveal, Zoos...) Maybe they are not going to be as strong as their meta versions but they are fine. This is not one of those decks, it is completely build around filling your opponent board and using cage and hazmat and the deck has no sense without them.
Today I was playing and lost to an exodia with the largest starlord I've ever seen, it had more than 100 power with how many times it triggered, humiliating XD
the gambit feels like it has really painful anti-synergy with both hazmat and green goblin, why not put in something else? could be as simple as a black widow
yep, it's another win condition alongside wong, mystique/odin and gambit, but in the end it looks like its never the best option and you can't play gambit if you have started the game with any other gameplan, like you can't transition to it if you have played debrii, hazmat or green goblin Maybe it was worth to put rogue instead of gambit yesterday with so many ongoing decks Anyway the games were really cool, even more with onslaught citadel as the main location yesterday
@Amarsaikhan Purevee Shang-Chi gets blocked by both Armor and Cosmo, Gambit can at least gamble to destroy something big from other location, if it's just Cosmo. Plus, Gambit works on Surfer'd cards, which are typically less than 9 power.
Why does it say "shuffle five rocks into your deck" when it means "place five rocks on top of your deck"? I just drew all five, and still managed to win. Validating.
Had an amazing amount of success with this deck, if you ever wanted to try it! Agent 13, Quinjet, Collector, Sentinel, Zabu, Agent Coulson, Spiderman, Enchantress, Moongirl, Whitequeen, Devil dino and chavez. Been gaining cubes hand over fist! love the daily vids
The saddest part of Marvel snap: despite all the great inspirations your videos gave me, I can't even run one complete deck that I want to because... I do not have key cards :(
Just takes time, you'll get them. Probably like, doing all your missions daily for 4 or 5 months. Been playing since launch and I'm close to 3000 CL. Only 9 more pool 3 cards left.
I love playing Wong decks but it feels like the whole game just counters the setup, no matter how I play it feels like the play line is predicted and aero enchantress rogue magneto just destroy any attempt of a setup that I try.
I'm late! I was in the middle of a game. I was at 69.9, and got hit with Lamentis, which left me with NOTHING playable. 😭😭 Every season...I get to 59.9, 69.9, etc...and then the RNG God's send me back down to 55, 65. So frustrating. Starting to feel rigged.
I feel your pain except lately I continue to get screwed before I get to 40, I do so well then next thing I know I just lose one after the other and it just frustrates me so much I don't even wanna play anymore. I kinda hate this snap system.
@Scott YES!!!! I *JUST* this moment hit 70. Literally just got lucky. It was an 8-Cube game, and ended on a 50/50. Just dumb luck, and I hate how much this game depends on dumb luck. I can deal with the Snap mechanics, but I don't think anyone should be allowed to Snap until they've played a card. Committing to at least 2 cubes before the other locations reveal is garbage.
@@WarXxandXxPeace nice grats and yeah I sucks. I also agree sometimes it's annoying the matter of how many matches are won by pure dumb luck lol it's horrible.
Green Goblin is not really easy to replace, but you can run similar cards. You'd have to restructure the deck a little though. I'd probably slot in a Hood + Viper combo, which is the same amount of energy for a similar effect (even if more unreliable). Ok substitutions would be mystique (you don't really need the extreme highroll with wong on ladder, most players would just retreat) and maybe Dr. Doom. Another way to preserve the same type of effect would be to swap doom or mystique (I'd say Doom in this case) for Hobgoblin or even Doc Oc. With Doc Oc you clog their boards and make your Hazmat triggers more valuable. But as you can see, there's not a clean way to replace goblin
@@circolodellinconcludenza4369 gonna try dropping mystique, and gambit (and gob) for hood, viper and widow. Figure giving away hood or widow as another haz target til i get GG
Not really. I suppose you could play Psylocke to get an extra energy and play something sooner, but that usually only lasts a turn and it may not be worth it. I would suggest Electro if you could destroy him or remove his Ongoing to prevent only being able to play a card per turn. Otherwise you may want to figure out a way to just utilize the 6 normal turns you get. Magik probably isn't that necessary given the goal of the deck. So replace her with something of a similar energy that you enjoy playing with.
Huh, I guess I was almost using a pro deck all along! lol. My version uses hasmat, luke cage, debri, hood, viper black widow, odin, wong, ironheart and magik.
Depends entirely on the board state and the situation. You don't always get Debrii or Goblin in time and if you dont use them, Gambit is better for removing their cards that they may have relied on to win certain lanes.
Wong needs to lose his Ongoing tag. Its way too overkill. Been thinking it for months but its even moreso when Onslaught Citadel is on the board. There is no reason locations or other cards should increase the amount of times On-Reveals are triggered. People seriously had a problem with Leader when Wong exists... smh. Wong should only give On-Reveals an additional trigger, no more than that.
That game against Patriot Surfer was hilariously fun to watch.
Hazmat is my favorite card. I have the variant in the thumbnail. It's amazing

only drop cage there ,they will think it's smth massive and bait their comso
For game 1: you could have played that into onslaught citadel and kill 8 cards.
