Hello fellow gamers and adventurers, As you might know I’ve been doing multiple boss fights since the beginning of Terraria, and I will keep doing it in a way that I feel is appealing. Doing it as part of my “First Night” videos is very fun, but it’s also a painful experience. It takes time and often results in death, but patience is a virtue so I can live with it. Something to remember is that the timer I use is not to make some record or anything, it’s just there to show how long it took and not part of a contest. I might change it to a countdown instead because time is really irrelevant. This is ment for inspiration, and since there are always better map seeds (dual pyramids lol) to be found everything can be improved. Also thanks for the support on the 1.3 preview video, it’s fun to read that you enjoyed the style of that video. Really gets me in the mood to do more, and evolve that style of video making. Yrimir, you inspired me to do the skeleton on first night challenge, and I was about to die but when I had about 15 health left a star hit skeletron and killed him! xD
Have you considered doing a "one boss a night" run? In other words, a run where you beat all 13 bosses in 13 nights. edit: Correction, 12 in 12 nights actually since it's not possible to fight both the brain of Cthulhu and the Eater of World in the same world.
It would be very challenging even for Yrimir. His Excallibur run took 3h57 and with 12 bosses this one would only be 4h48 for a much more ambitious goal. I wonder if it's doable.
Beating EoC on the first night requires pretty decent skill. Beating the Queen Bee on the first night requires really good skill. Beat both on the first night requires being Yrimir.
Yrimir: roams around the jungle with a spear and a boomerang. Me: can’t even get past the man eaters at the entrance of the cave with a enchanted sword and a mini shark.
Your challenges never cease to amaze me yri :) I just hope impatient people can see that completing challenges like this requires a lot of trial and error. But it's all worth it to complete the impossible :)

Wow, Yrimir you have been a huge inspiration for me on Terraria. Before I just used to cheat things in using invitory editor, but after I saw some of your vids, i decided to do a complete legit world and I have been doing really good! Thanks for being awesome. :)
Paul Miceli he was referring to you when you said you used to cheat things into the game. I know that desperation and it helps you grow as a gamer when you know you don't need such a tool to help yourself obtain the items that you want. I still remember being freaked out when zombies appeared by my house -- I wanted OP items to wipe out everything. Now the only stuff that really bothers me is what is coming in 1.3. When you obtain all the items you want, it gets kind of boring, actually.
What seems more exciting is doing feats that you couldn't do normally or without having skill, say Skeletron w/ Wooden Armor and Bow & Arrows (just an example)
***** well skeletron is actually rather easy even without armor you only need a proper arena (for me thats usually like 6 layers of wooden platform at a span of ~50 blocks with a campfire in the middle) beat him that way with just a wooden bow, wooden arrows, ~100 shurikens and no armor
Whenever I watch your vids , I always get inspired. And although I try some stuff and it doesn't always work out, I still learn new things. I hope that yrimir brings his journey onwards

If you were an Terraria developer and could inplement your own boss, what would it be? If i were an Terraria developer, i know which boss i'd inplement: The Shadow. It could be spawned anytime by Breaking an "ore of evil." My Terrarian name is Aura, so it would say, Arua has awoken! (Your Terraria name backwards) and a dark version of your carecter would spawn. It would be a Challenge for everyone, because it would be a bossbattle against yourself. The shadow would fight with your armor and and the weapon you used the most. Try to mimic your movements. Yeah, i'd love to try to win over myself :-P
+Owen Klone my boss would be a joke boss: Legs of Cthulhu it would attack by jumping adn jumping and it has 70 hp it drops 999 dirt block and one broken copper sword you summon it by making a orb of dirt b getting dirt and amking it into an orb you could break it with a copper pickaxe
I love the music choices in this video, especially when on the surface during the daytime. Very atmospheric and relaxing. Also, I've never liked the flare gun before but this video put it in a bit of a new light, may try it in the future! No way on that timer!

Yri, Plz, you're too pro. Just watch you do Eater Of Worlds / Brain of Cthluhu and Skeletron on the same first night next, hope you get lucky with world gen, or just spam world gen. :Z
You know how many worlds that would take? 1.You would need to have a suspicous looking eye in a chest close to the dungeon and or in the corruption 2. You´d need to find alot of bombs or grind things in the Corruption to summon the eater of worlds.3 Also the run would most likely be a fail if he would be to run to the wrong side of the world and encounter the jungle.
It is Yri we're talking about, he generates a shit ton of worlds for his speed runs as we've seen in EoW+EoC run, so it's not out of the picture, hard as hell, yes, impossible? Hell no

Insane mode: unlocked after beating wall of heavens in floating islands. Insane bosses:The Triplets: eye of Cthulhu and the twins combined with all of them in their phase 2 mode. Eater of galaxy's: Destroyer and eater of worlds combined with minions called: "Angel heads". They are similar to meteor heads but with 10000 health. Skeleton swordsman. Normal skeletron but with much more health and armour and swords. Also has 10 arms and 4 eyes. Mushterra: plantera but in mushroom biome. Much more health than plantera and has minions called "mini mushroom" with 45000 health.Burnt guide:the exact guide you killed to defeat wall of flesh. He is the exact size as wall of flesh and spits lava doing 115 damage. Also has arms that disconnect from body and attack you. Last insane mode boss: Cthulhu. Found in new forgotten sea city biome. Summons: "servants of Cthulhu " that do 150 damage. Cthulhu does 500 damage. Cthulhu has 1 missing eye and a hole where his brain should be. Like if you agree with this idea :D
Forgot events: sky pirates and bot moon. Ores: power cores. Used with hallowed bars to craft power bars. Water ore. Used with lost temple blocks to craft wave ore. Vibranium ore: used to craft Vibranium.

by 8:30 into a video, yrimir has all items needed to craft the lightning boots but the rocket boots, that's insane! (though you could count the tinkerer's workshop as one, too)
7:50 jungle is one of my favorite biomes because you don't need to find and mine stuff or deal with Skeletron to get a WoF tier armor set. Seeing those jukes makes me a bit jealous that I haven't tried that yet

Demonite armor/ Shadow Mail sucks, go for Meteor/Spacegun combo, works decently in hardmode even

I got SO LUCKY and spawned next to the dungeon with the old dude and had just got the game so I was a noob. when he told me about a curse I was like SURE. And I died :/

I recommend if u have shadow key, unlock shadow chests in underworld then use a dark Lance against skeletron.

by 8:30 into a video, yrimir has all items needed to craft the lightning boots but the rocket boots, that's insane! (though you could count the tinkerer's workshop as one, too)

7:50 jungle is one of my favorite biomes because you don't need to find and mine stuff or deal with Skeletron to get a WoF tier armor set. Seeing those jukes makes me a bit jealous that I haven't tried that yet
