    I have planned to go to Bali in the first week of may24. Few onlines sites giving threatening warning against use of normal tap water for brushing teeth asking us to wash hands with mineral water or hot water. They are talking too much about bali belly. Even go to the extent of no eating of salads. Being vegetarian I feel little concern about these warnings.Is it true to that extent. If so, what are the precautions we have to take.

      The red colour swing dress is available at the location itself. They charge money for it and rent it out. Here at Alas Harun being little expensive they charges 1000 Indian rupee.
      All the swing vendors have such dresses for rent.

    As you mentioned in the video, that you went for snorkeling and you didn't know swimming. Actually, we really wanted to go to gili for snorkeling, but my wife doesn't now swimming, kindly suggest....

    • @liveyoungandcreative3944
      @liveyoungandcreative3944  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Swimming lessons are not needed for snorkling. They provide you with life jacket and other gears to help you float on the surface of water. The diver will always be with you all the time. And first 1/2 and hour they take you to a shallow place for little training and make you familiar with everything.
      If your wife is reading this,
      Dear, I don’t know swimming either but had so much fun doing it. I am sure you will love it too.

Which Hotel did you stay in Kuta? 2) Which booking site, agent did you use for hotel bookings? 3) After returning from Gili Island, where did you stay? 4) Instead of Tukad Cepung waterfall, is Banyumala twin waterfall also scenic and a good choice, is it worth driving all the way? 5) How much was the Ferry cost from Padang Bay to Gili Island? 6) Snorkelling cost? 7) Did you do the snorkelling at Gili Meno or Gili Trawangan? 8) What is your Insta handle?

      3.stayed in Ubud after returning from Gili, it will depend on your itinerary.
      4.yes, I did not go there. Would suggest you to see videos and pic’s of that place before planning the visit. There are many waterfall in Bali, choose as per your time and capacity to travel.
      5.from Padang to Gili one way fare is about 3500-4000 Indian rupee.
      6. I don’t exactly remember. But there is lot of bargaining
      7.Gili T, choose gili T. It has best of both serene and quite beaches and the happening cafe/ hangout places.

      Let’s take the average stay per day at 2000 Indian rupee ( at this rate hotels with pool and view can is booked easily) food cost for one person/per day is hardly 1000)major cost around 10000 will be needed for travelling within Bali and to fro to different islands.

      Yes it is needed. Truly speaking no one checks it until you break the rule but if you are caught because of any reason the fine will be Hefty ( 10k indian rupee).
      So, I will suggest apply for the license, even if it doesn’t come on time carry the proof of application.
      Even the police there don’t want to bother the tourists and let them go on production email as proof of application of international DL

    Hi.. Thank you for sharing such a informative video..can you pls suggest a bit about alas harum Bali? How much it cost for a couple swing and apart from swing what is the entrance charges where we can just walk through the rice field and take pictures at different bird nests?I researched quite a bit about swings and I found alas harum is best but is it really costly or is there any budget option available inside alas harum Bali?

    • @liveyoungandcreative3944
      @liveyoungandcreative3944  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hii, Alas harum is bit pricy but offers a lot of spots for clicking pictures. The couple swing bed will cost you around 1900 Indian rupee (353,000 IDR).
      I don’t exactly remember the entrance fee, it’s somewhere around 500 rupee. Once you enter you are free to roam around the place and click pic at birds nest or any where in the property.
      The super extreme swing costs 1300 INR and the long gown dress will cost 1000 INR.
      Yes, there are multiple options in that area but all offers same view. So check few options before stepping into Alas Harum.
      If you simply want to walk in the rice terrace there is a entrance for that and there is no charge for it, it will simply lead you to rice field where you can walk around.
      All these takes time so be prepared in planning. 2-3 hrs will definitely be gone in entire process.

If we are not comfortable to carry luggage along with us, what is the other alternative you’d suggest? Your response will be high valued 😊 many thanks in advance.

      Everything depends on the number of days you are travelling for:
      Kuta- 2 nights (will become 3 if you plan 1 day return trip from Nusa)
      2 night in Gili ( but you can also make it one night stay)
      2 night in Nusa ( I stayed there, but can opt for 1 day trip if you have less time)
      2 nights in Ubud ( this is without Mt Batur Trek)

      Hii, I visited in April 22. As I visited just after lockdown the crowd was less. And also we reached everywhere early in the morning which helped.
      But Bali is has experienced sudden jump in tourist, so I cannot say about it now.

      Legally you need international license but they rent it out without it as well. The police won’t check for license normally.
      But if in case they check there will be a huge penalty (around 10k INR).
      So apply for it, keep the copy of the form filled. Even that is enough. The police will let you go if you carry the proof that you have applied for it.
