I've got one issue with this/these class/classes. When wanting to cast fireball, I often just end up going a bit backwards and then hitting the air with my pimp-stick. 2-3-4 times out of 10, this happens.. It's fairly annoying (as it lowers damage output and such) and I can't seem to not do it, from time to time.. To be clear; I don't have this issue with any other class that uses the same combination of keys. Any tips?
not sure if my comment was misplaced ot what but just wanted to know if it might be possible to use the razer naga instead of all of the combos, yep hate combos. Aion did that best I think but had to have a lot of action bars and abilities

Good video - but a little bit misleading. All classes in bdo have secret combos. W/W can instant cast some spells (no not using sage memories) also some skills can be spammed even when on cd.

+Michael Collins Valkyrie has some self healing and high defense, with gap closers and "oh shit" abilities. The Maehwa is a bit more advanced, but moves so quickly and has such high burst that pretty much nothing'll bother you once you get used to her. The Tamer was my first class, though. At lvl 20 you get a giant demon dog that combos with your abilities and acts as a mount for later. Once you figure out the combos and such, you won't die to anything. Also, I realize your comment is 2 months old at the moment, just wanted to help newcomers. Hope I swayed you towards something you'll enjoy playing ^^

Hakurai, I'm in the process of making a Witch on EU BD and I was told that Agerian was the best armour for us? Also it seems Liverto may be over priced and exceedingly rare at the moment - i dont quite know what alternates would be, help please?
+ThomasBrawn as of right now if you want cast speed agerian is best (because neil armor isnt in the game). for alternates to liverto, go yuria. yuria weapons are bought from an npc in calpheon for 90k silver and 300 amity (though only accessible if he has 500 amity) there's a debate on yuria vs liverto, liverto scaling better in accuracy/crit dmg with 2 weapon sockets, but yuria is a lot easier to obtain/enchant (repairing max durability) and does more human based dmg
Hey Hakurai, Just recently picked this game up and I'm loving it. I'd like to get my old man to play, but I'm concerned his motion sickness will get the better of him. He's more of an oldschool UO/EQ style MMO'er. Would the wizard be a good choice for him to sit back and cast while I tank with my Valk? Is there a way to shut the bouncing off? It looks great and feels immersive, but it'll make my old man sick as a dog.
When you Reach lvl 35, you unlock he Black Spirit's Rage, which fills up as you kill mobs. When this rage count reaches 100%, your lightning upgrades to the ultimate, which can be seen. It hits a LOT of times for heavy damage (But for me it misses quite often). Be careful, accidentally setting the spell off resets the rage to 0% again and there is no way to cancel the spell. Also IIRC you get invincibility during the spell. When you get hit a shield pops up that counts down from 100.
i hate such games where u dont have freedom in such basic things. also the graphic options are very limited. one can only set low medium etc and thats overallgraphics.. i want to be able to costum how the game looks..
You missed a couple things: Fireball is insta-castable at a (not 100% on this) minor lost of direct damage. I've been insta-casting it since I knew that fact, and have never noticed the damage being bad. Thunderbolt has no cooldown. It says it does, and shows it on the ui, but it's doesn't and is spammable. You never use Staff attack. Ever. Not even for MP regen. You use either the skill bound to E to get a small amount(20% at max rank) or your fully upgraded Mana Absorption, or from the mana spirit thing. That said, at minimum rank, Mana Absorption does NOT fully fill your MP bar. It does about 60% of it. Rank 2 is good enough, and the final rank will indeed fill the bar. The reason you run while using the teleport skill is because you're still moving while hitting shift. You cannot be moving when trying to use teleport, PLUS it gives you a movement speed that lasts the entire cooldown of the skill - another fact missing from the video. Thunder Storm - the alternate to Thunderbolt when the rage thing is at 100% - blocks. I'm 85% sure it provides a block. I've used it in farming and seen blocking whilst taking no damage, so I'm assuming that's the case. I'll know for sure sometime tomorrow when I log into KR. Its the only major nuke that does this. Both Thunderbolt and Chain Lightning place 3 debuff's on enemies. Idk the names of them, but one of them is related to movement speed I think. Chain Lightning has some good damage to it too. Also, Mana Absorption applies a hefty movement speed debuff - which would be a good idea to use on those tricky/speed bosses. There might be more that's missing too, but I'm not 100% on it.

I mean, like, if you mean character gender, its pretty obvious considering the classes are gender locked. However, if you mean you're RL gender, then that's something no one knows unless you tell them straight up. That's how it goes with every game, really. Hope this helps.
wh3atus Even though I've played wizard a bunch, I couldn't tell you how to build him. There is a calculator out there. To grab all the skills up to lvl 60, it takes almost 1500 skill points. So that's something to keep in the back of the mind. Did a quick google search for it; www.blackdeserttome.com/calculator
Id C that's nice and all, but if I ever want to get involved in PvP, then I would like to experiment with builds. With the current spec system there is little to no incentive of trying new things.

EHHHHHHHH, no. Sorcerers fill the role of young magic. Witch's are carbon copys of wizards skill wise. There is no reason they cant be old, or be required to be old. The only reason I see is the company wants to sell sexy outfits for woman and and old woman in them would horrify people. Which in my opinion is complete bullshit. If you got any real evidence to share, shoot.
Irras Fine. You didn't accept my first theory. Here's the reason. It's made in Korea. Every korean female in games looks like this. Having an old wizard is quite a difference too, as they aren't the 15 year old looking 25 year old males we are used to.

you can turn down or off the screen shake in settings.
does the mana regenerate in / out of combat by itself or do you need to go all melee mage on them to regen it?
