Very helpful, thanks! I'd also recommend that for the first time a composer/arranger uses a new technique, they write the word out. Not every line uses the same notation, so it's good to specify. :)

Samina Yaghouti I'm not sure I've come across that. Again, this is just how the University of Nebraska notates their music. There are other variations and definitely implements that weren't covered here. If a composer has a marking you're not sure about, I'd encourage you to reach out to them or ask your director what they think would sound best for those notes.
