So the Supreme Court could work faster like this? Then why the delay of the anti LGBTQ bill? Very interesting to see this happening. Speaker declears yesterday and Supreme Court interpret today .... Woow
When i watched the vetting of the chief justice of the whole supreme court Ghana on the issue of the birth certificate, i knew what we were getting as a chief justice .
Waoo😂! So it’s deliberate for the court to delay other important cases like eg. LGBTQ case to appease to the failed government of the Npp? The Supreme rubber stamp and kangaroo court of Ghana
Francis Asiamah was expelled from the NPP in 2020. When did he become a member of the NPP to contest on their ticket whiles he is still an Independent (Candidate) MP? Has he not breached the Article 97 clause 1 (h)?
When Gyekye Quayeson with was expelled from Parliament by the SC, didn't they know his constituents will be denied representation? What about those in SALL? Does their representation not matter to the Court?
You must be ignorant to think the supreme court can direct parliament to do anything. You must be ignorant of separation of powers and the Npp is known for forcing their way through everything. Enkosiaga😅😅😅
@Sedemgh0044-s1g pains. The speaker has no choice to abide by the Supreme Court ruling. If he dares he will remove as a speaker of parliament. The country is govern b laws.
They dont even know the law thats why they always lose at the court. Those 4 mps have expressed thier future decision and not now. Still is the party or the individual mp who should write to the speaker that they're no more with thier party now, and not the decision from the speaker. Moreover this was thier future intentions and not now.
Stephen you see common sense would make you understand clearly what the constitution says and that is when a member decides to go independent his or her seat becomes vacant and that's it. If an intelligent person like you based on party colours interpret this as ' they have decided their future plans then you rather don't understand what the law says. If they allow them to be in parliament then at what point do those seats become vacant? Is it after when they are reoccupied again? Think about it.

You don’t mislead the people if you don’t know, the law never stated that the party ought to have written to the Speaker, once the PC have signaled their intention to vote as confirmed by EC, they should vacate their seat
@@ernestahiadzo5191 don't join the speaker to mislead the public. Can a speaker just sit there and tell an mp that you have declared your intentions to quit your party on the next elections so you have been sacked from Parliament ? No wonder you always lose at the court. By the way, court has thrown out the rulings of the speaker so don't worry.
