    Judging from just 1st episode, this show has a lot more healthy competition and friendly atmosphere in that the MCs and mentors are critical yet supportive unlike on mnet shows where they are shown to be more demeaning. They have lot of focused shots on certain boys indicating the PD’s favorites but none of mnet’s evil editing.

      That’s what I love about this. When I’ve seen the first one with the girls. Universe Ticket. It wasn’t that popular at all but it was never toxic. Despite having 100 girls from all over the world compete all the way down to 7 girls (UNIS) and then they made changes with Universe League. As you can see there’s less half of them which is good because that way they can really focus more. Every mentor teaches them, they even have producers come and help them. Those producers even treated the girls to help them ease their minds and stuff.

    I believe Univeral League is more pleasant to watch than the other survival shows in that it promotes a competitive spirit among the 3 teams and collaboration within a team. It is more positive.

      @@jess_holyfieldthey treat unis like princesses! they're very protective of them and they let them be kids. not to mention since their mother company is a fashion brand, they're prolly the most stylish 5th gen gg (with their clothes still appropriate for their ages, and still comfortable). they are the most awarded group that debuted in 2024 (18 trophies, last i checked with 2 being daesangs)

    The ones who will be debuting, is going to be the brother group of UNIS which is a K-pop girl group. UNIS is a rising star K-pop girl group according to GRAMMY’s and have won many awards - i would suggest you to look into that group. F&F entertainment is such a company without mistreatment! That’s why a lot of fans are into this UNIS group itself.

    Your statement about Groove, yeah I agree cuz when I watched the performances I was like where’s the Groove movements? Aren’t they gonna dance hitting the names of their teams that team beat, rhythm and groove. That’s why, I thought maybe they have their own definition and when I watch eps 1, I was right lol or maybe they’ll show it cuz there’s more eps to come.

      Team groove is specialized in vocal, team beat specialized in producing music while team rhythm specialized in dancing just like their directors team..you can watch it in ep 1 where they introduced the team directors on what that team specialized in..

  • @lofimusicytchannel2239
    @lofimusicytchannel2239 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

    I guess the rhythm, groove, and beat were just team names and has nothing to do with the genre or theme.

    team groove is mentored by changsub from btob who is very much a vocalist 😭 if they had back kooyoung choreographing for them i'm surprised they didn't have him as an actual mentor given he's very experienced with idol survival shows (girls planet, boys planet, etc.)
    team rhythm is mentored by ten and yangyang from nct/wayv(kun was also in the first episode and xiaojun in the teaser for the second) and they seem to focus on performance
    team groove is mentored by changsub as i mentioned
    team beat is mentored by yugyeom from got7 and el capitxn, who is a well-known producer in the industry
    so it seems like sbs wanted to with rgb as an acronym and just had to figure out the team names afterwards??

    Rhythm = Red
    Groove = Green
    Beat = Blue

    Mabuhay! Wow! love your analysis and your uncensored reaction. it's like I'm noticing some things that I wasn't before. New sub here, btw. i enjoyed this a lot. I'm wondering if you're open to discovering more dance choreo outside kpop. I'm from the Philippines and we have PPOP here, and the most popular boy group currently is SB19. They have an awesome discography. I do hope you get the time to watch and react to their performances and for starters I would suggest their opening performance at the Asian Artist Awards 2023, a collab with &Team. The title of the video is ..... [#AAA2023] SB19 with &TEAM 'INTRO+GENTO(Part1)+Mana+Bazinga+CRIMZONE+GENTO(Part2with.&TEAM)' STAGE .... More power to you and your channel :)

    This, to me felt like The Voice format. I, personally, don't see the novelty of it, but I will continue watching to see what happens. So far I don't have any favorites other than Woonki because of boys planet. And here I hate to be the devil's defender... we can say whatever we want about Mnet but their survival show groups GO BIG idk if it's the drama, the evil edits or what but they keep people engaged and invested in those kids. and after the show is over the group that comes out of it is crazy popular and that happens more often with Mnet survivals than with any other network survivals. The only groups that get big from shows of other networks are the ones backed up by big4 agencies, and their success Is more due to the agency than the success of the show. Thas why I'm kind of wishing my fav from the other survivals airing rn that have 0 chance into making it to the final line up get out fast to audition for Mnet's show 🤣🤣🤣
