WLTOYS WL912 brushless 3500kv 3s on the water Dadtech&rc 1080p

Hello and welcome to another Dadtech&rc.

We have been modifiying our faithfull Wltoys wl912.
You may have seen the other videos over the years and the mods we have done. The last mod we did failed so we chose to go brushless.
Specs:
2627 3500kv brushless outrunner.
2s 1500mah lipo.(or)
3s 1500mah lipo.
30a brushless esc
ft012 trim tabs.
generic 30mm nylon prop.

i looked it up stock which is nice but hell that thing is fast with the upgrade :D well done 👍 do you think the body could handle more power without modification ? have good one 😃

Thank you for your positive comment. You could put more power in it but it's a gear driven prop so I'm not sure if you would gain broadly speaking. You can buy a higher kv motor in the same dimensions but 4200kv which may be too fast..... The 912 gains because it's light, it drives and handles better than the brushless ft009 we built. It also drives better with smaller batteries 3s 1500 vs 3s 1800. When it's choppy we've had to run it on 2s....On the 912 I have fitted a higher pitch prop which works well both stock and modified a Octura y531. It allso runs well with a Tfl 1.4 30mm cnc prop. It's running a cheap plastic 1.4 30mm in the video. Thank you for watching and feel free to subscribe. :)

Hi yes it is. Some may disagree but i found i could use a smaller higher kv motor giving but run times on smaller batteries.
